I only discovered Leanne’s wonderful patterns a few days ago and now I’m addicted to watching her amazing tutorials. It’s a rainy, cold morning here in Cornwall so I’m still snuggled in bed with another cup of tea watching yet another video. Happy day! 😊
Great tutorial!! I watched it 3 times before I attempted to make the wallet. I had a couple of kinks along the way. My printer didn't print out the card slots page properly. I found this out AFTER I had cut up my fabric, though. I had to go back and use the pattern measurements page to get it right. And then I wasn't sure if the card slots markings (1,2,3 and 4) were in the correct place after that.. I don't know, maybe it was the glass of wine I was sipping on, lol. Also the lining piece printed out about an inch too short as well. I just added a strip along the bottom. It worked out just fine. However, my wallet came out beautifully for my first try! Next time I will save the celebratory glass of wine when I'm all done - and there will be a next time for sure! 😃
Happy New Year Leanne. Thank you for a great pattern and tutorial. I really like how slim the wallet is. I made mine out of cork on the exterior and cotton for the lining. I need to make a bunch of these for an exhibit in November. I plan on making the pointy flap and fussy cut the other. Awesome pattern. Thank you! ♥️

Just bought this pattern and giving it a go! Is there a particular reason you put the foam on the lining piece and not the outer, perhaps because it’s vinyl?

Hi! I just started working on this wallet. It appears that the template is not the correct size for the card holders. What are the dimensions for the piece of fabric and how apart are the folds for #1, #2, #3 and#4. Thanks
To get the correct size you need to print at 100% or actual size from a laptop or PC. All additional measurements are in a separate file that you can download

Question - why is the back piece In two pieces? Could this be 1 piece and just add two decorative stitches (because like the look of that) or is the seam acting as extra support for snap ?

I have a hump jumper (actually a Jean-a-majig, same difference)…somewhere. I use an empty needle case, like Schmetz, as a hump jumper!

If you are using leather do you need to stabilise?
Leather or faux leather? I would say yes but you can always wait to see how it feels and slide the body stabiliser in towards the end
