    That advice was brilliant:"split your work in several days so you can concentrate better on each side you work on" ! A lot of people don't realise that but its the best way!

    Great work! I usually also cover the black plastics with tape to prevent it from whitening from the polish compound

    I love Ultimate Compound and Ultimate Polish when used with a DA polisher! Result looks great! I also have been loving their Hybrid Ceramic spray wax and spray detailer. Great beading action and easy to apply during final rinse step of washing.

    Great insights and best practices Yuri. I will use these tips on my 2009 XC70 and my 2008 C70. Thank You

    Please use a true bug and tar remover from a well-known detailing source like Griots Garage or Adams detailing. Carb cleaner or brake cleaner will destroy your paint.

    Nice one! I love to do it and than sit next to the car and enjoy the outcome.
    Recently I started to use ceramic coating on my car as it feels more durable and when after a year I polish it off, mostly only the coating is removed, not the clear coat.
    Great work 👍

    Question: is clay bar reusable after rubbing through one door panel?

    • @volvosweden
      @volvosweden  Рік тому +1

      Yes. It depends how contaminated the panels are. But it lasts at least one car.

    Check out Pan the Organizer and he will show you the full process, very good information there for the future vehicle cleanings.

      Biased reviews from Pan in my opinion. Too much paid promotion. Check out Forensic Detailing.

    Looks fantastic! Would you consider ceramic coating the car to preserve the paint?
