This is really useful thanks! I’ve tried a similar approach on my vocals but they are rap vocals. Due to the fact the notes are sung and drawn out they are very punchy and quick. How would you adjust compression compared to day this vocal. My thought was it needs to attack as fast as possible as the words come quick but also release fast as it moves on the next work so quickly. Not sure how to combine the two compressors effectively with the faster vocals.
Whoa! That's so weird. Did you try restarting your computer? I have noticed GB doing some weird things when I install new plugins, but have always been able to fix it with a restart. For piece of mind- Klanghelm is a 100% legit company and I am completely confident it wasn't any sort of bug/virus or anything! Either way, sorry to hear that- I know that stress it is not fun

Very useful, thanks! I love the Klanghelm compressor, I sometimes use it without turning up the knobs just to add its unique sound character.
It really does!
One of the best VST compressors in the world.
The MJUC Jr is my favorite VST compressor for sitting vocals in the mix just right.
Excellent! Thanks Colin.
Thanks, Tim!
Very helpful info. The Klanghelm is a solid compressor.
It sure is!

i have the same headphones as you, and im really struggling to hear the difference. do you have any pointers as to what im listening for? tricks?
What would be great settings to begin with for the 1st compressor like 5ms Attack 60ms Release ?? Or Faster ??
Can you make a video on how to mix and master a song with just acoustic guitar and vocals? Would be very helpful..
Warning: I downloaded the Klanheim Compressor, installed and now can't open Garageband?????? F! Mac OSX 10.13.6
I found the plugin in Library/Audio/Plugins and tossed it. I had only installed the AU. But won't retry.

@@TheBandGuide Yes I restarted, and ran Disc Utility. I already had their IVGI2 preamp which works ok. Maybe it was just me, I have a lot of plugins.
