There no way that cup survived a fire the handle and the lid are made of plastic they don't even look slightly warped or affected from the fire and then again if you look at the middle arm rest area it has minimal damage to it. I don't think the heat affected the cup the way she making out to be. Good advertising for them but if you truly inspect the damaged area you can see why it still had ice in it.
Yea and the part where she said the fire was “yesterday” how tf does the ice sound frozen solid?? Surely over time the ice would’ve melted a little bit overtime. It’s kind of suspicious ngl. I could be wrong though so idk 🤷♀️
it probably did survive the fire, it looks like it has a little ash on it but look closer at the surrounding area, its like the dash of the car caught on fire, but it did not extend into the seats or the hump in the middle, or else so much of the material would not have made it unscathed. i believe it was in the car when the car burned, i don't believe the fire got all the way to the cup. and if its cold out, during the cold winter months, yeah, it would still have ice in it. especially if the fire never got closer enough to properly heat up the cup. this is all dumb either way.
Its a good cup but be aware the video is deceptive, its still plastic on the lid and handle and the cup waznt exposed to the flame as the "fire" was only a dash fire, realistically the lid straw and handle sould be gond
@@jagpilotohio100%! How hard would it have been to intentionally cause some fire damage to the cup after the fact, throw some ice in it and then place it in the car? Or maybe the cup was in the car to begin with, but judging by the surrounding damage, the damage to the cup doesnt look consistent.
@@skullman0819how do you know it's completely legit from simply watching a clip like the rest of us here? I bet you believe they actually saw a woman in half during magic shows don't you?
No way thats legit. That thing would be covered with soot and the soft rubber / plastic melted. Car fires are 1500 degree infernos, more than it takes to melt aluminum. Plastic and resins ain't more temp resistant than aluminum. Most resins melt at 300 - 500 degrees, steel melts at 2,500. No soot on it at all ...
Only the engine compartment when up in flames, thats why the center console and her seats are mostly still intact. It's the fact the ice didn't melt from yesterday and being NEXT to an engine fire that is impressive.
Respectfully i am going to have to call bullsnot on that and my supporting points ar 1 the handle is made out of plastic and so is the lid . As you can see most of all the other plastic in the car is melted. 2. It doesn't matter what the cup is made of due to the temp of the fire and the lid being plastic the ice would have melted. I AM NOT disputing the quality of any Stanley product as i have a few Stanley tape measures and have had them for over 10 years and love them . I am disputing the validity of the person that made the video
They didn’t talk about how the cupholder area survived the fire, and how the armrest also survived the fire, there’s a lot of parts in this vehicle that survived the fire, which makes it sound like it wasn’t such a bad fire. People are stupid SMH
Seems like the fire was mostly contained to the engine bay. That's why the top of the steering wheel and dash is burned, but the seats aren't peeling apart from the heat. ABS plastic is surprisingly heat-resistant, so unless the plastic was directly exposed to flame it won't melt. Impressive, but any other double-walled insulated steel water bottle would probably be ok too.
They need to start building campers and prefab homes out of this material. Seems like NASA can really use this type of technology if they don't already use it! 😮
Lmao. My backpack in the passenger seat would have survived that fire. The seats aren’t even burned. That fire would be similar to having your mug too close to a campfire. Ask any 👨🚒.
Guys so there’s this one guy named I don’t really remember his name but he has conspiracy theories, that he shares, and he did this one conspiracy theory, and it was like about this video, and that they like actually tried a car fire to see if it survived, and it didn’t survive😂
😂😂😂😂 I don’t see any fire, smoke, are any signs of heat. The car looks to have been in a fire but was the cup involved in that fire? Wouldn’t fire melt the plastic it was sitting in fusing it to it? So many questions but the main one is why would people at 40$ for a scam?

No seriously it’s been too much cars catching on fire lately especially in accidents!

you mean steel and plastic, which they're already made out of?
@Jortdf534 but what about HIGH-END plastic and steel, much like Stanley cups

I just saw that today
The car fire clip was an ad. The response is just them trying to look cool but they set the whole thing up from the start.

1 - Ice is not melted.Go test it out.
2 - There is no proof that that cup was in the car at the time of the fire
The comment I came to see. The plastic lid, straw and even the color the cup survived and the sheeple believed this story.

this is all dumb either way.
My Stanley can’t even keep ice overnight in the fridge. No way it survived the fire
Not to mention the handle and lid are plastic but didn't melt at all? This is some fake bullshit for sure lol
Exactly what I’m thinking!!! How tf is the ice still frozen solid from being in the car overnight???

Same question I asked!
Thank you!!!!
People can be so dumb fr 😭
What about the straw lol, it obviously had some fire around it :)
The straw survived too proving the fire wasn't that intense so any metal object would be and should be unscathed.
True, but it's the fact that there is still Ice that makes it surprising
