Here is my correspondence with FORD performance. Since I confronted them about this being a Non serviceable $3k option I HAVE NOT, gotten ANY response back. Date: January 18, 2022, 10:17 AM So what your saying is, this is a $3k dollar NON serviceable upgrade for my 2022 SUPERDUTY? Yes, people who leave their diesels running is ridiculous, fuel is at an all time high and they just leave them running. So stupid. I never run engine like that
Thanks for bringing this to light. I can get a far nicer, serviceable winch setup for $3k. I prefer a receiver hitch, winch cradle setup so I can use it front or rear. Additionally, I can stow it inside when not needed.
Bummer man. I ordered mine with the winch and I pick it up next week. I was having a hard tome deciding. Almost just went with a front hitch and a hitch mount winch when needed. Too late now, i hope it works well for me
Thanks for posting. I just bought a 2022 Tremor and was going to install that Warn kit. Not anymore! Unfortunately, the right way to do this requires a new bumper! After begging my Wife to let me literally buy a house! There is no way in hell she is going to let me replace the bumper for a new winch🤣 I do have a brand new 12lb Badlands winch but can’t find a winch mount to use with my factory bumper. Does anyone have knowledge of one that will work?
Look up fab fours matrix bumper. Imo they make some of the best bumpers for winches. I was going to go fab fours with the full grille guard and a universal warn winch. A lot of people haven’t had issues with this warn winch but I find that if you pull out a good amount of rope it’s really hard to re-spool if to where it’s evenly distributed and doesn’t want to jam up which is also very hard to do because it’s tucked in the bumper and you can’t actually lay it across the drum evenly by just applying pressure because the bumpers in the way obviously. The kit is a really good option if you don’t plan on pulling it out all the time and I would also recommend taking that rope and cutting about 25 to 30 feet off the rope it’ll leave you with a shorter rope but you’ll have more pull and torque and if you should be able to lay the rope flat and evenly it won’t jam because there’s a lot less rope now

Nothing worse than trying to have a conversation over a rattling diesel motor.

99% won't use the winch anyway. Just have it for looks.
Best review on this winch iv seen, thank you!

how are you liking the new truck so far with winch setup
@@JorgeRodriguez-tu6xd so far so good. Only used the winch once to pull up a small tree, pretty happy with it for towing
thanks for the info
I’m putting a western wideout XL on the front of my truck, will the winch be in the way of the plow mounts?
My winch fairlead tweaks into the bumper when I cinch the rope. Does yours move around when you put inward pressure on it?
Hey was your winch in a box? I can’t seem to find mine. It’s not installed
I had to stop watching ext time do it without the engine running lol
@@hay829 winter time and my son was sleeping in his car seat which is why the car was idling, I actually sold this truck for a Ram dually
I didn’t get it on mine.
I was 50/50 about it haha
Yeah. I’m going to fabricate a low profile mount in the summer and send all the stuff it to be plasma cut. I’m selling my current winch setup.
So what is the beef with the factory winch?
get a new grill that thing is ugly!
