Honestly, this episode made me tear up a bit. People genuinely helped you because they wanted to, and even if it distracted them from their own gameplay they still did it because they just wanted. Your videos remind me of why I started playing RS and why I still play to this. The fact that your videos don't have more views is nothing short of criminal.

The first time I ever got membership in '05 I spent most of my cash stack (40k?) on an addy halberd and full HAM, because I thought it looked cool to have a hood and a scythe.

Yeah no shit. The actual cinematography he achieves through the fucking RuneScape engine baffles me. It's like the original Red vs Blue stuff where they were just recording in-game footage, but the editing and camera work make it come to life

I truly enjoy these videos in a way that I do find with other rs videos. Being guided through a quest by somebody who kind of remembers it but always forgets one or two items you need hits me right in the childhood. Thank you so much for making these. The comedic timings, the songs you pump out, and what prompted me to comment was the huge wholesomeness I felt just at the immediate end of this video. You can control an audience by laughing their ass off or making them cry from wholesomeness. You truly are a gem!

The Gary series really reminds me of what it was like in the mid-2000s playing Runescape when you had to rely on people to tell you information and you had to take it at what they said or doubt it. Wikis for games weren't everywhere yet. We didn't know precise numbers of almost anything. People swore that certain rumors were true, it was like folk legends that exist in every town because your friend knows a person that saw it happen once and that's enough proof for you.
Thanks for the videos Jimmy, you really do make the best RS content. I only play for maybe a month or two every few years but I always enjoy your videos.

I remember my group of friends in 5th grade all gathering in the library to get this link for a new RuneScape game on Mini clip. This was back in 2006 and it was my first time experiencing an MMO of any kind. I logged into tutorial island and saw all my buds there with me. Other than Xbox live Halo or Gears of War matches with friends I never experienced online gaming. My mind was blown; I was just amazed that the people around me were real people doing real things to the world. I've played almost every MMO released since then and am still chasing that feeling I got logging into RS for the first time.
Great video J1mmy! I really genuinely enjoyed this, this is honestly the first time I've heard of the fresh start servers, they sound painful! But definitely Jagex owes you 3x what they paid you for this, this was top notch quality content.
