    I took the front one off and left the back one on. Seems like it is a less bumpy ride with the front off. Not to mention the articulation helps with a smoother ride when crawling over stuff. I’m leaving the front one off. I like the way it drives.

    For people running mostly faster roads and trails,? I would say leave them in, it’s a roll over safety thing. For people running slow trails with good uneven ground, you could take the front off. Personally I would leave them all on. Thanks for making this video.

      Thanks for the comment. I would agree that all of them on feels better. Stock setup though did experience a better ride quality with front off and front shocks at 2 and rear at 1. Don’t remember what the preload was but with stock springs it road way better.

      Lol thanks for watching. The springs are by far the best investment I have made. It took a bit to dial them in but that’s what’s nice about them. Now I’m doing 40+mph off-road through rough terrain plus I have 10ply tires. Really impressed.

    For staying stable through corners and stop rollover I would want to keep both sway bars in right? I don't do any big climbing or need articulation like that.

    • @azsxsproject
      @azsxsproject  3 роки тому +1

      Correct if your concerned about body roll or rollover I would leave them connected. It’s personal preference though. I found that stock setup with front off and front shock on 2 and back on 1 was pretty decent to handle everything. With aftermarket suspension or upgrades the ride flexes way more to the point I don’t really even notice the bar connected. You may experience an occasional 3 wheel but it rides great.

    • @azsxsproject
      @azsxsproject  3 роки тому +1

      Thanks for your interest in the video and my ride. If your referring to the side mirrors they are Seizmik Pursuit side mirrors. Great company. I got mine from a yard sale but needed profile cage mounts. Called company and had them at my doorstep 2 days later.

    He chief,on an 18 MT 1000 the secondary wheel wont tighten up,i thought i needed a belt,took cover off,belt has crazy slack in it,changed belts,when i spin the secondary clockwise,it wont tighten up now,and on decel ,its makin a noise.

    • @azsxsproject

      You might have a broken roller. I would check there. The other thing would be a bearing that could be keeping it from closing. This is a bit beyond what I know but these are some solutions I have seen in the forums.

    I just installed maverick s 60 inch base sway bar... 18mm vs. 25mm stock, 30% difference in stiffness.. Way more flexible than stock but no suspension clank like with disconnected sway bar.. How is going to hold up, is it going to fall apart time will tell😃.. Ohh by the way it is not my idea, somebody posted on the one of canam forums and i decided to try it 😉..

    Are the sway bar what clunks when the machine flexs?

    • @azsxsproject
      @azsxsproject  2 роки тому

      Yes it can clunk sometimes when flexing for sure. It’s because the bolt that goes through the control arm is slightly smaller then the hole. It’s beyond me why it’s not a tighter fit.
