Wind makes the human body a punching bag, been there, really drains a person working outside. Nice water!!
Hi friend great vidio drilling machine good luck succes always
I am a subecriber. I have a ?. Can you tell you drill rig's name brand, year model and how much is it worth. Just curious.
The wind off a lake can be brutal.
Never seen a "lake wind" fold the doors on a vehicle.
Happy belated St. Patrick's Day from the centre of Ireland
Thank you for taking us along with you on your adventure on showing every one thank you again God bless my friend
It's a great channel. I don't know why I find it so interesting but I do.
People can't hide money can they lol. I could build a decent little cabin for my pup and myself since my wife passed for the money they have in their dock lol. Great video. I truly respect you for your work ethic and customer service. You show a great rapport with your customers.
These fancy toys are great, all that money has to come back into the economy somehow after all :)
the other reply is absolutely correct. These toys create and provide many many jobs. So don't look at it from only one angle. Someone had to create all those materials, then someone had to put them together, and now someone will have to maintain it all. There is NOTHING wrong with spending money. Money exists to be spent.
Look at the consumers... propping up corporations. Never stepped foot outside their country.
Gosh no lack of water...😂😂❤❤
You guys do excellent work
Cheers from Nova Scotia
Thanks for the video . Reminds me of my days in the search for water !!
Keep up the good work...
I would greatly appreciate it if you can do a couple of videos about bored wells & the challenges they pose. Here in Central Virginia east of I95 most wells are bored because when the Atlantic Ocean receded millions of years ago it left benind a very deep vein of sand. The 14+ year old pump in my bored well has started passing air so it's time to climb in the well to pull it out.

@BlackpowderBBQ you're right it isn't millions of years old. It's 4.3 billion years old. Go push your silly Bible studies else where. This is a drilling video...
Loved this video! I'm a city boy and I have always had city supplied water. It astonishes me that you guys can drill almost 400 feet and bring water to a home.
By the way I went to Walmart and looked at the TurboFlex frames. I think they may be just what the doctor ordered. Thank you for putting me on to them.
Brother, get you a go-pro, i think thats what they are called, lol, so you can have both hands on whatever you are doing, lol, just a thought!
Great video. That's some nice scenery.
Many years ago when my Father in Law, RIP, own a boat dock with one of his cousins, the Corp of Engineers put out a directive that all boat docks had to be see thru, there were issues with transients living in them in the off season at the lake. So no more galvanized siding. People were using expanded type fencing materials, i.e. hog wire, chicken wire. Well he was no going to go along with the crowd so they built a brand new dock with 2 bays, Bass boat and Pontoon boat sized slips. Then proceeded to submit plans to the Corps that left them, the Corps, puzzled and speechless. They used .25 thick plexi glass. Could see thru it, had garage doors on the slips that seal with the water added, AC, heat, a refrigerator, two deep sinks for dealing with the days catch, a propane fueled stove to cook with. Was able to use it year round, Lake Texoma still can get dang cold in the winter and of course hot in the summer. Expensive of course, about $25K, back in the 90's. But when the cousin passed he was able to buy it from the widow and it did add a good amount of value to his house when he sold it and moved closer to us to be near most of the Grand Kids and Great Grand Kids.
Liar. Corps has no such jurisdiction.
Love all your videos, but the well drilling has got to be the best!
Nicely done!
Like your videos from North Carolina you seem like you do a good job and seems like you are honest
Another great video. Thank you.
Thanks
Hello. Thanks for the very interesting and informative videos. Yes you have to adjust to the variable elements of Mother Earth. Do you ever drill and drill and get no water and have to walk away?
Liked😅😂😅😂
Good evening
Good job 👏 😂
Pretty wild, but also illustrates why there is a lake there: because there wasn't something it could drain through!
Great Video. I enjoy your cintent lot. Thank You for all of the work that you do!!!
Love you videos and hope to continue to see new ones pop up. Appreciate you letting us follow you while you work.
Another cool video
You would think water wouldn’t be very much deeper than the level of the lake but that’s not how it really works lol great work guys thanks for sharing
Young man you are impressive as hell👍
I'm a hands on learner I would have to do the job to understand why all the knobs do what they do I get what your doing but I would have to be in the mud to drive it home on how it all works
Did I miss the static what is it.
He should install a vertical wind generator. Free Electrics!
Oh, “hit the like button “. I didn’t realize it was for your benefit too. Thought it was just for my end feed to recommend more like it. I figured it knew how long I watched yours to tally your “importance”. for your account. will make that effort now on.I encourage you to keep up the good content. I’ve learned a lot. WEST KY.
How can you tell how many gallons of water the well is making?
You make it look easy
So your lakes are muddy just like here in Oklahoma!
Its as if they are part of the erosion process... Shocked!!!!!!!!
Great video, you make this very hard work look like everyday thing a very good skill set, saying hi from the UK where we are so pampered with water on tap.
Maybe you have covered it in some other video, but perhaps in your next video you could explain (or reexplain) how you know you have hit water and how much is coming up?
Looking Great ! You got over what ever crud you had a while back !!
I'm a physician. I was wondering how you were doing. I wish you drilled on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.
#shivgangaborewellsbhilwara
Here for the AL Gore Rhythm😅
Thanks 😊
I guess I was wrong in assuming that the grout depth was from the surface of the well all the way to the bottom of the casing? Did you say that some of that length is filled with spoils from the drilling process??
Fourth lol. Always love your videos.
I would love to see the face of a well driller that had been in a 50 year coma that you were about to visit a well site and use an orbiting set of satellites to tell you where the well is located.
How are you able to estimate the GPM of flow? Do you have something techie or just guess by experience?
I think my main concern there would be the lake feeding into the well via the local water table and the house ending up with the lake pouring out of their tap
Have you ever started drilling and couldn’t go further because of hard rock?
Right on about the melanoma. While it's often "treatable", the process of cutting it out to the bone is godawful. I very well rather use a minute and be sticky from sunscreen than risk that as far as I can help it... talked with too many people who did have to have the treatment.
Use better sunscreen. Zero reason to feel anything. Neutrigena Ultra Sheer for example. Every morning, and again after lunch.
385 feet deep, How far did the water rise up the well? Static water level?
When you are drilling, how do you know how much water is coming out
I just sort of stumbled onto one of your vids, watched it and loved it. I have enjoyed every single one I have watched. I find the videos very informative. Well done! I do have a question for you. Why do you appear to be driving from the left side of your vehicle, and later it appears that you are driving from the right side of your vehicle? Are the right sided shots done when you have a chauffer to drive you? Kidding about the chauffer. Thanks for the info you put out here on the web. Keep up the great work, and may God Bless you in your life and endeavors.
Gopro vs cell phone. Phone flips the image. But I think I've fixed that for the future
I sorta thought that might be what was going on. I know I had that knowledge bouncing around in the space between my ears somewhere. Thanks again. @@h2omechanic
Hello ! #1

How much lake water do you get in the well? Casing was down 60 Feet
Nope nada I always hit the 👍 button right on the first even before I watch a video.( for all my subscribed to people)) that way?? I never forget😂 but if it is a crappy video?? I don’t take it away I just make sure I am no longer subscribed.😂😂😂 8 gallons?? I would be super pleased with that
What measures the flow rate, and do you test for water quality?
@h2o-mechanic Up here in Noo Joisey near the shore the drillers don't typically hit bedrock so the casing goes all the way to the bottom of the well. It seems you guys only case down to rock. But what's after that? You stick the pump down into the open bore hole beneath the casing? How does the hole stay open? Why doesn't it collapse back in on itself?
Awesome video again. Does being next to a lake affect the water table depth?
You tell by filling a bucket with water and timing how long it takes to fill it...i think..😅
385ft and you've started to drain the lake 👍🤣😂🤣😂
Why don't they use the lake for water? :-)
Water rights.
I live next to a lake. The well is about 20 years old and makes plenty of water. Now for the question when drilling next to a lake are there any special considerations?
Thanks
P.S. I will buy a new pump from you this summer, I know I've had a good run with the existing pump and I'm living on borrowed time.
I know a gal a minute isn't enough, what is the minimum gal/min and optimum? Isn't recovery important also?
Hi Philip! Fellow Virginian (at heart, not born there, but lived there for 12 years, miss the old dominion state, but live elsewhere now) here. Really enjoy your channel. Have you ever considered turning off video mirroring on your phone when filming with it? Makes everything backwards and is kind of disconcerting. On iPhone go to settings -> camera -> mirror from camera then turn it off. On Android it’s a little hard to find. In the camera app go to settings and look for something in by that says something like “save selfies as previewed”. Turn that off and your video will be saved NOT backwards (so I’m told, IDK, I have an iPhone). Hope this tip helps you. Keep up with the cool content.
Hey! Thanks for the tip! Just flipped it off. I never knew it existed, just thought it was part of the front 📷. Much appreciated
@@h2omechanic Thank you for finally turning it off. I've literally mentioned it at least a half dozen times before.
@Failure_Is_An_Option honestly those questions were always funny bc it helps the algorithm

My well pump went from working perfect to not over night just put a new switch on brand new pump tank all ect what do you think is wrong
I think it is not pumping water.
Can I run poly on a 300ft well that makes 1.5gpm static water level would be 90 foot. I live in Montana and the well will feed a 2000gal in ground cistern. Cistern pump would then feed the house. I just don’t know if that’s to much head pressure to run the poly with the static being so low in the well.
Itll be fine. I'd recommend using a steel well seal or pitless. The system will get heavy once the well is pulled down. But it will handle it just fine at 300ft with a 90ft static
Can you tell me how much is your rig is worth. Name brand and age
Who drills a well after the house is built instead of before, or is this a second well?
Everybody....
@@Failure_Is_An_Option What if they don't find water?
Wait for my next upload! You'll see what happens! It's a nightmare
Why plastic casing instead of steel
Plastic = No rust

@@lloydmiller5690 Funny... because they don't fail.
Do you guys ever pan the sediment that comes out to see if you have gold?
Why was he shoveling dirt back into the hole
Gravel... he said why and if you think... just a little bit. You can hypothesize why too.
Ever pull up any gold nuggets while drilling? 😀
HAVE YOU ALL EVER PANED FOR GOLD WITH A BUCKET OR PAY DIRT. OR SOEM THIGN LIKE THAT .. THOUGHT I ASK..
Those jet ski’s are evil. They have an effect on some peoples minds.Makes them do stupid stuff. 😝
I buy old & rebuild the engines as a hobby. Actually have a Playlist on one.
If 40 mph wind hurts your face don’t ever come work in the oilfield in southeastern nm it blows worse then that daily
For sure! LOL
Is there any benefit to casing a shallow well ( 20'-30'), or would you just use a sand-point? BTW, this well will be for irrigation only.
My local well drilling company puts casings all but 50 foot of the well regardless of depth drilled is that good for a healthy well
In your career. You need to be applying sun screen every morning, and re apply after you finish lunch. Minimum SPF 15, but 30 would be better. Once you make it a habit you will think nothing of it.

Great video as always if sometime if you can think about dowse the area mark and compare your dowsing findings with what happens when you drill it will help sharpen your skills and you can get results
