Great capture. I live in Patna and my work mostly doesn’t involve travelling outside the state. So for me - departure from this airport, the sound of engines spooling up, PTU, etc. are always exciting as they mark the beginning of much awaited holidays 😇.

Yes indeed, the current terminal is quite outdated by national standards. They are building a new terminal, which will probably become operational by 2025.

Indeed, the current airport doesn't meet national standards, but a new terminal is coming soon, which should improve things.

It's dangerous airport. It's not even long enough as prescribed by international standards. In case of emergency, things can really tricky.
