Feel sad for the 7 Burnley fans out there ❤️💔
Shush
Actually 8
There's 8 of us you little bastard
@@Vizeh9, don't forget about me
😂😂@@Vizeh
At least Burnley put up a fight which cannot be said of Sheffield United.
Yeah that's my point right now right, gives some momentum into next season at least
@@Vizeh hopefully atleast one of the promoted clubs stays up (Luton Town)
@@FedoraMan-Sportspretty much impossible at this point unless Forest get another point deduction
@@FedoraMan-SportsNottingham prob gonna draw 😭😭

Not a Burnley fan myself, but as a Belgian I've been rooting for your guys ever since Kompany took over. The way managers get axed every 5 minutes these days, I've appreciated the way Burnley have stood by Kompany. No doubt, he got plenty wrong this season, but I'm hoping the uptick in form at the end of the season can carry on in the championship next season and we'll see a more prepared Burnley back in the prem in August 2025. Best of luck lads.
I hope that our trust in him will work out well for us in the end
@@Vizehfr I'm dad Luton went down
Their big issue is they screwed up with a lot of the transfers. Not sure how much of it was on Kompany tho but I bet he was mostly at fault. Hopefully they bounce back tho
COYM
Kompany is an overhyped manager
I'm glad Burnley didn't hit the sack button with Kompany, but I definitely feel like his stubbornness played a part. And dropping Muric at the start of the season was an awful decision. Trafford had been playing in league 1.
Kompany could win another championship title next season
I'm glad too, next season should be a good one
I think that's all 8 of us that are glad then!
Trafford will come good
You say his stubbornness played a part. But who knows if a different style would've worked any better. Maybe defensively there would've been less mistakes, but obviously you admire that they've played the right way through a relegation season.
Can you imagine if Kompany had started Muric much earlier in the season they might be saved from relegation
I can't say for sure that we'd be safe but I can say 100% that we'd be in a better position
@@Vizehyeah James Trafford was a horrific signing
@@Vizeh the irony muric being your saviour (almost)
Forest had him for 5 games a few seasons ago and he's the reason we bought rice samba haha
I think there was a clause in traffs contract where he had to play 3 quarters of the season, just rumours tho
@@Vizehif muric always started u atleast would be higher than luton
It seems like Burnley tried stepping on the gas as soon as you said 'I've lost hope'
I think they'll be back soon, they have some sleeper talents
And then when he said they might stay up they decided to stop
Tottenham fan here, was genuinely worried Burnley would win today with how awful Spurs form has been and mounting injuries. Two goals from defenders later, this video gets released (I assume you prerecorded it). Hope to see Burnley back up in the PL in 2025-26!
No wasn't pre-recorded, this was directly after game
Why would he pre record it ? 🤔 😂
@wolvezy let's face it, Sp*rs fans ain't exactly blessed with brains. They support Sp*rs ffs.
Good on ya for keeping it levelheaded and having an honest analysis of the whole situation, it’s too easy to become frustrated sometimes
No point really, I’d rather be known for having an identity and backing a manager than being reactionary at every opportunity
Don’t know if this means anything at all but as an American fan (I support Brighton and Barcelona), I think lower table/ championship sides have one of the strongest fan bases out any sport.
From exhilarating promotion to disheartening relegation, you’re always dedicated to your local clubs. Wish we had that same fight over here
Proper fans in the Championship man, I love it
I must say you’ve given me a whole new perspective on the Premier League. Normally what you see from clubs that are battling relegation is a bunch of panic decisions that demonstrate the desperation to stay up as if they are willing to sell their soul to the devil to avoid relegation.
I think it’s smart to keep Kompany and hopefully a core group of players in order to have the best chance of building something bigger.
I hope so too mate
I love how you put again in the title💀
It's pretty much the same video
Don’t despair or give up hope. We (Palace) were a yo-yo club. 11 years now.
As a Palace fan myself, even though we've maintained stability, it's frustrating not to take the next step each year. Palace either maintains its status quo or stagnate. It gets frustrating when you see all the talent on the books and nothing gets done. But with Glassner, there's that feeling of something different.
Nah i'm quite excited for next season now
With Glasner in charge & if we keep this team together next season looks exciting.
We’ll probably sell. Top half of the bottom half. I hope not.
@adamaalto-mccarthy6984 Yes, it's difficult, I think Olise might pass on Utd, which would be a blessing but then I see much bigger clubs get involved. We do have that pull for the elite championship ballers to make it in PL along with Glassner's experience in Germany. we could pull some exciting players, like we're already rumoured with Lacroix for example.
London makes a massive difference. West Ham, Fulham and Palace benefit so much from the extra pull London has.
Where clubs like Boro, Bolton, Blackburn, Sunderland just can’t attract players despite being similar in size
So it's already basically confirmed Luton are also going down (their goal difference is nowhere near Forest), which means that all 3 of the promoted sides from the Championship last year, were all immediately relegated. If wasn't for Forest's point deduction, they would of been relegated a lot sooner also.
This is concerning, for obvious reasons if newly promoted Championship teams cannot compete, if the gap between the Premier League and Championship has grown too large, immediate reform is required. The Premier League cannot become the same 17 teams plus three 'guests'. That's very possible, and that's something most fans do not want.
It’s true. Hasn’t happened for a long time though.
Sheff U were a disgrace. Most owners will try harder than they did.
Burnley stuck with Kompany when maybe someone else would have kept them up… and Luton were fantastic and lost a LOT of close games. Hoping it’s just a freak. Rather than the norm.
@@choke9270 Our (Sheffield United) owner is completely checked out, he's been trying (unsuccessfullly) to sell the club. But you're not wrong, we were a disgrace this season. Most people blame the fact that we sold our "best" two players, and there's no doubt Berge and Ndaiye were pivotal for us last season, both going a week or two before the first game of the season didn't help. I don't think we ever had a chance though really, we've not really varied our tactics this season, and those got found out in 20/21, our last 20th finish. I do agree with the original comment here though, the gap between the Premier League and Championship is starting to feel unassailable.
None of the promoted teams got relegated last season
So this season the gap’s too big, but last season when all three newly promoted clubs stayed up there wasn’t an issue lol
It's their coping mechanism @@mincraftisawsome1234
I'm actually really happy weirdly enough ive really missed the championship and cant wait for no var more games cant wait to win the league again
No VAR is one huge benefit I can say now haha
@@Vizehhaha, bet it is
Var coming to the championship season after next
As a Spurs fan I am happy about the win today because it means there is still a chance of of UCL qualification, but I always feel for clubs that get relegated. It must be a harsh experience. To be fair I sometimes wonder if it would be better to be a fan of that kind of club because you actually win the Championship while the last time we won a trophy was the 2008 Carling Cup.
ur a clown on so many levels and you're what's wrong with spurs fans but COYS anyways
Jay Rodriguez couldn’t save y’all this time round 😂
I was there in the stadium on Saturday and although it annoyed me during the game, I kinda admire the fight the Burnley players put up.
They really wanted to win and you could feel it.
The Championship works in mysterious ways, but I believe with this spirit, you guys will make it back up next season
I am sorry that you have gone down.
And it's not even down to Vinny.
You lot are nice, despite me wearing my city atire , I was pointed kindly in the direction. Of the away end, when I asked for help. Decent all round, and never seen anything amiss of my trips there(maybe it happensif you go looking for it)
Very reasonable prices for refreshments, old school stuff and concourse areas where you can smoke if you want, and from the away end you get a lovely view of the hills in the background.
You'll be back...
huddersfield fan, i feel your pain, were down to leauge one now. hoping for the best next year
Bad luck mate hope to see your team straight back up
Seeing you completely tank this year brings me great joy after comparing yourselves to Bielsa’s Leeds
With you standing up, hands on hips, this video felt like a post match interview lol
chin up mate, definitely were some encouraging signs there but the step up is very hard and it's more and more common for the promoted sides to stay up. Definitely think this was a learning experience for a lot of the players and even Kompany himself and you'd all be better off from the experience to regroup and go again next season. Agree that holding onto Kompany is probably the best way forward as he's already established an identity and philosophy with the players. If you get promoted again, the players who were part of this campaign will have more experience and understanding of the step up required to make it in the PL.
As a spurs fan who saw the game today, I think even with the loss you showed glimmers of what the team could’ve been, and that you should bounce back up and hopefully stay up
Spurs should of had a handful of goals give spurs a competent striker and it would of been a battering Burnley are awful
@@matthewsmith8727oh I understand that, should’ve and could’ve been similar to the first match we had, but they did have some moments that were representative of what could’ve been
Spurs fan... say no more. Was your dad born last time you won the league or are we deferring to grandpa?
Good luck mate. From a Liverpool fan.
bro the way u stepped in had me thinking u were abt to drop a crazy diss track
As somebody who was at the Arsenal 5-0 game, I'd love to have fun again.
Hey mate! Good luck next season! In Romania, if a team relegates from the first league, the main concern is that it will be going bankrupt, so profit from that sweet parachute payment.
Sorry for your loss m8😢😢😢 you'll be back! 😊

I’m not even mad we got relegated, purely for the fact that we have much better Derby’s and away days. We’ll be back in the prem eventually lads ❤️
Love that. All about the vibes. Are Blackburn Safe????
@@robbiebalboa they never are 😉
@@callumfitzpatrick99 😂. I See what you did there.
In a lot of Spanish speaking countries the English lower divisions are quite popular. I think you should make more videos about the championship sides once the new season kicks into gear.
The million dollar question is who do we keep and who do we sell????! Go!!
Burnely tried their hardest, unfortunately it's very hard for working class clubs to survive in the modern day machine of a globalised Premier league
You will bounce back! Love from Helmond Sport
very well balanced overview of things. The club does seem to be in a good place despite going down.
Always had a soft spot for burnley, from the dyche era to now. Hope you guys come up and stay up after next season. Good away day from a Leicester fan
All the best for next season great thing about football it don't stand still, next season try get back up, good luck
Now were all hoping the Hatters stay up (or now get up)
Sucks to see a great club go down and thought you lads were a team w rly good potential as a palace fan every time you played us you were amazing as well as the support and I defo know what relegation feels like and it sucks but it also gives youth and your most loyal players much more game time and bring a togetherness that gets you straight back up !
Hard luck mate, hope u come right back up next season, but tbf, i might be wrong on this, but if u had looked at the prem table by christmas, when u hadn't even gotten 10 poi ts yet or whatever, u ptobably already had them down, so if u had been told that you would take it till the penultimate game, would u have taken that? If i was a burnley fan i would of, but thats just me
Please accept my sincere condolences to you and all those who are affected
Question: I didn't see much Burnley last season but I took Manuel Benson on fantasy on the back of 11 goals in 33 games in the championship but he's barely played this season, how come? Luckily I did bin him off quite quickly
Viz I hope you watched Expressions video on the game, that might have cheered you up a little bit. Hope you collab or make a video with him one day.
Bummed for Burnley but really excited to see them play competitive football again. Kompany In 100%. Hope to see you in Nc
I believe the naivety from Manager's end did play a huge role... Which is not understanding the squad strengths and differences in style of play with Championship and PL. He is indeed new to the managerial side despite managing top tier league club in Belgium. unsettling GK with Out going of decent loan players did leave loop holes in his system which was way to predictable for PL teams which can easily figure it out with the technology and knowledge we have right now... If I would sum up Burnley season, it was very one dimensional football for a side that just got promoted.
Are you even surprised and i support Barcelona
Yo-yo fc, we’ll most likely see em again in 2025
I both am and am not at the same time somewhere
Nah not really
No one cares that you support Barcelona
They should have been frauds like your lot, might have stayed up then.
A lot of owners of smaller clubs do say it’s better to get relegated when you first come up to the PREM because of the parachute payment so if you come back up which burnley 100 percent will they will get a lot of money to invest on transfers
yeah honestly you lot do seem a lot more stable this time.
I’m an American Spurs fan. I hope to see Burnley back in the prem. Turf Moor for a while now has been in my list of grounds to visit whenever I get over there.
As an Everton fan, once we were safe i wanted Burnley to stay up. Theyre the only club that has a right to feel aggrieved by Everton not having out points deducted the year Burnley went down. Its a shame you guys just clicked into gear too late. Hopefully you'll come back up again and be more prepared this time, and Kompany will improve as a manager in time
Crystal Palace fan here. Feel bad for you guys, had an eye on you all year. This ONE TIME I’m gonna say something nice 😂. You have a great football club and we know you’ll be back soon. The difference between up and down is so slim now and requires such a commitment from everyone, that only superior clubs can bounce up and down. Just being a constant threat to get promoted is a reason to keep your head up. So much good, quality football right now. Firing your manager would be a mistake. Just talking about it encourages other teams to steal him. Best!
As a Spurs fan I am really sorry and sad.
I'm looking forward to Luca Koleosho
I really had hope up until the brighton game, but after that I knew it was done 💔
as a man united fan, we are burnley but weve got some class players who bail us out, good luck to you all , soft spot for burnley my dad lived there back in the 80s
Welcome back love from Blackburn
See you at the Derby
Feel sad for captain fantastic. We'll be watching you in the championship
Weirdly enough I think you are in a really good place & it's refreshing that you've stuck with the manager through a relegation. I'd like to see Vincent have the same sort of time given to him as Dyche.
Vizeh very coincidental went to spurs away today wearing exactly same shirt as that lets all be honest championship will be more fun more relax less mental health stress
The hard part of getting promoted to the PL is staying there. It can be done, just look at Brentford for example. Championship is much more enjoyable because most of the teams are of a similar standard.
I tell you what ive all ways loved Burnley it shows how tough the premier league is considering you got promotion in style.
Im excited to see how you guys do in the Championship and see if you bounce back. Also im excited for my team Pompey to be able to compete agajnst you!
If it helps
Luton has also been eliminated
Looking like prime chielini if he played for Burnley in the thumbnail
As a Brentford fan, was very upset when you guys beat us but I wished those points would’ve gone to help you guys stay up in the end. Best of luck in the next season
As a Bburn rovers fan who's recently discovered this channel - its nice to find a level-headed fan of my rival club. Agree, you keep Kompany, otherwise would be crazy summer. Agree re: Trafford, seems like a good lad, will become a top keeper, is only 20/21. Pope debuted vs us and was rubbish, look how great he became. Think you'll smash the league again next season, but looking forward to the derbies, championships class, preferable to the 4 wins and having to park bus every week.
Always liked Burnley's spirit, im sure they'll be back in a prem soon.
As a Norwich fan, it's so hard to cement yourself in the premier league, especially playing expansive football. There is also a big gap between player quality, if you spend money to bring players in, it will take time for players to play as a team. I'm also a huge Shaun fan so slightly happy you went down😅
It’s not like it wasn’t coming
As a Crystal Palace fan, I’m so lucky to have never seen my team relegated. I started supporting them in 2008 and besides the administration and scraping relegation to league one year later it’s been pretty much uphill ever since.
I think Burnley will have a bright future. There is a strong foundation of positive ambitious owners and a smart manager who will learn from this experience. The players will learn from it also. I’m backing them to make an immediate return.
bro was holding the tears
I haven't been watching the EPL for very long but this is the first time that I have seen all 3 freshly promoted teams go down again in their first season. I know TECHNICALLY Luton have a chance mathematically but it's unlikely. Wild how big the gap is between the 1st and 2nd tiers in this league.
i think burnley is a hard team to predict and i hope some day company is going to be af club legend he has a lot potential
Hey...he's standing up.
Remember that time you drew vs Cole Palmer FC with 10 men?
It was good while it lasted.
I ran the red lion when burnley went to the prem 1st time. Loved it cracking fans
Rip Burnley, from a Schalke 04 fan 😢💔
Then next season they will go back up, followed by another relegation the season after and so on. It's time to stop those 'parachute payments'!
not gonna lie even as a Chelsea fan i thought the three newly promoted clubs in Burnley, Sheffield UTD, and Luton town would be able to survive promotion mainly do to the fight they all had at the start of the league they all seemed.. ready? if that's the right word which i even thought maybe they could do some serious damage this year but points for even trying its tough being and even staying in the premier league its one of the toughest leagues in the world and its no easy feat will love seeing those types of teams come back and not just the same old stacked championship teams *ahem* Leeds and Leicester City
As a Leeds fan I know how it feels
Personally i really like Burnley maybe its bc of Vincent Kompany and our relationship with him or something else idk. Wanted you lot to stay up this season as Turf moor is a pretty classic away day and a decent stadium to go to. I think the fact that you have stuck with Kompany instead of looking for a change is a pretty good decision from your board. He will for sure take you back up to the premier league next season and as he has had the experience from last season he will keep you lot up. The best of luck next szn from a city fan
They needed to bring in quality players in
Let's hope we piss the championship which may be harder than last season but in the last few games we looked like we may be prem quality shame to go down but it's been coming to put up a good fight from our original position is something to be proud of even if we came up short
The mighty Burnley will be back
As a none Burnley fan it’s seems like this was part of the plan, stick to their beliefs, keep the same gaffer etc.
Part of a bigger plan me feels lad so keep ya chin up.
Mark goldbrige is a very happy man right now
Hopefully you guys will get back in EPL soon.❤
Tbh Burnley are looking to build a project they would have sacked Kompany in Jan but they didn't may be just Kompany need to evolve his tactics because Burnley are showing fate in him and is up for the future.
Here we go again 🔥
This is football heritage
Used to pray for times like these 😂🙏
Hey on the bright side, more chances of silverware now :)
Even as a Liverpool fan seeinf burnley getting relegated instead of forest js makes me sad and frustrated 😠
Hope to see u guys again in the prem again whenever it will be.
