All funds go towards supporting Expedition Northeast: A 1 year/ 4 season, nearly 4000km expedition across one of the world's last great wilderness areas - Northeast Canada (Quebec, Labrador and Newfoundland). This is the first and longest expedition in Canada's history to ever attempt this route. I will be alone with Saku and we will complete the adventure by human and dog power only. Saku will not be with me for the cold winter months in Labrador. For plenty more details on the expedition tune in the Zoom talk.

Justin gave this presentation here locally a couple of weeks ago. Well worth your time and hard earned money to take part. It has been interesting to see the preparations he has made for his journey. What he is attempting seems almost impossible but it doesn't pay to bet against what he can achieve with a focused goal.
If this is the last update we get from you before you head off on your expedition, just want to say I wish you the best of luck! You're certainly in for one helluva adventure :D
P.S Is Saku accompanying you for the expedition?
Thanks a lot he'll be there for summer and fall
My love, $20 was a small price to pay when you’ve been posting free content on UA-cam for years.
Keep doing what you’re doing and those who have been watching and know your worth will continue to support. Wishing you lots of luck on the journey, can’t wait to watch 🥳
You deserve every penny, Justin. NEVER bargain over money. People have no idea how much work goes into what you do. I look forward to seeing your zoom presentation.
Awesome stuff Justin. It truly sounds incredible. You will do it You will make it !
Good luck Justin! I grew up canoeing, camping and fishing north of the 53rd in MB, N Ont and SK. Some beautiful and rough country. Now live in Missouri, but love that north country. Some of those bogs and the bugs are going to challenge you! Always impressed by your preparation, calm approach to challenges and your wonderful dog! Always loved my visits to NFLD & Labrador - best people in Canada and certainly some of the most fun! Prayers for your safe return and success. Look forward to watching your videos.
Your amazing love and best wishes from Australia. Be safe 🙏
The black Flys ,mosquito at diff times in lab, Quebec and Nfld. Will be intense.
Looking forward to the videos from your Trip! Wish you the Best of luck and a great time!
Greetings from Germany
I'm sure all of us can't wait to see your year long adventure brother, I wish you all the best and be safe out there
As a reader of Newfoundland history and adventure travels of the past, you will be remembered as one of the greats in this epic trip.Wishing you safe travels and proud of a Newfoundlander who demonstrates the drive needed to get it done.Would not bet against you on getting this done.
Pay no mind to the nay sayers.
Theyre just jealous they cant do it themselves.
Side note, just bought my first canoe thanks to you.
Looking forward to the presentation
Cheers,
Registered. Happy to lend our small bit of support. Good luck Justin and safe travels.
Never mind the nay sayers, do what you do and put out content when you want.
LOOKING FORWARD TO THE TRIP, I NEED SOME ADVENTURE IN MY LIFE...LOL..KEEP SAFE..
anyone who thinks $20 CAD is a high price obviously doesnt know what $$ Justin will spend in prep of this epic journey..Me, I'll be there @ the Zoom mtg with BELLS ON. You go, Justin!
4000km 😵💫that sounds awesome and a bit scary at the same time , good luck and safe journey 👍
$20 is a bargain for the amount of knowledge you've shared over the years. Anybody who disagrees hasnt watched many of your videos. Good luck to you and Saku.
I’m jealous of the life you live. You definitely got it figured out man ! Good luck and I’ll be watching.
Right on brother! I really enjoyed the presentation on Patreon yesterday 🤜🤛💪
Safe travels…. So excited for the vids and your next book?
Great job justin..I hope you have a great and safe trip...I'd say it's going to be a exciting trip...cheers my friend
Delighted to buy a ticket to the live presentation on Zoom! I am happy to FINALLY be supporting your work in some material way rather than just being a "taker" and consumer of all the glorious free high quality videos of yours that I've been enjoying for years.
I wish you the best of all trip, be safe and good luck man , you are awesome , know this !!!!
Best of luck @Justin. We are all here chearing for you. Stay safe on your journey! Can't wait to see how things turn out! Love following along always!

DANGIT.. I missed er by. I can’t wait to see the journey, stay safe bud, specially up in polar bear country.. I wanna see you in a video next year, not in a news article. Safe travels, keep you and Saku safe on the trail, and bud if you get a go fund me goin I’ll be glad to help… you’re one of the last few true Canadian explorers
Link to support in video description above. Thanks a lot , take care and best wishes Norco
The misses and I love your channel, we’ve watched many of your videos over the past few years. Hope you have a great adventure. We’ll have to do the zoom to find out more.
Thanks!
I am so excited for you. And so excited to witness your experiences. My deepest gratitude for all the you do. It's such a massive thing to accomplish on its own, but you've elected to be an inspirer of others...another feat of its own. Thank you. I'm sorry I missed the Zoom session. I was on a short adventure of my own in the BWCA Wilderness in Minnesota on that date. Hopefully I can find a recored version of it out there and link to donate. (don't worry about others complaining about 20 bucks, plenty others are happy to support. We all need to eat and pay rent, right?)
“It all good man”! i love it! Safe journey! Take time to enjoy the beauty and stop and reflect. Be safe and don’t take any unnecessary risk! Stick to your plan and check in with Heather. I’m excited for you and admire what your doing! Stay true and best wishes 💛
So awesome to watch you living your dreams!
Let us know where your at Justin. Praying you and your travel buddy are safe and well🙏
I had buddy.
Him and his friends after high school they took adventure trip from Toronto area to Churchill on... bicycles...along railroad.
It took them 2 weeks hiding from train and moose on the way.
RCMP took care about them.
Think about leaving st johns Newfoundland and walking to Thunder Bay, Ontario. 4000 kilometers 😳
All the best on this adventure Justin it is going to be challenging But you are going to do this well.
Good luck !
I would love to make the trip myself. Im trying to figure out a similar expedition myself. Good luck and God speed brother
You can really hear the Dublin accent coming out in some of your words,,,I know your not from Ireland,,,but there's no mistaking that accent,,
I am so excited for you and this expedition .. and jealous lol safe travels my friend!
Watched all of your content.
You are a beast.
A true expeditions.
Of the highest order.
Waiting patiently for your next trip.
Concern for your well being is all I think about when videos are spaned far apart.
Be safe ! And keep exploring.
What ever happened to Justin? This was the last video I've seen and it's from a year ago. I remember thinking I would enjoy watching his new adventure and then he fell off the radar. I hope he is okay. If anyone sees this who knows, I would appreciate an update. Thanks.
I gotta admit I was surprised at the 20 spot charge for the gig but hey, you defended the charge well and in today's world it's a hell of a bargain. Since I'm a Patreonesh ( that's a fish of sorts, haha) I was hoping to see something come through that channel and viola! You did not disappoint!. The pre-trip documentary was a blast in itself BUT I'm still waiting for that last vid before you depart for one of the most
epic adventures of your life. Live your best life, Justin.....you got lots more coming.
Sorry I missed it. I just found your UA-cam channel.
When’s the videos comin? I can’t wait to see your adveture
cant live on love.lol..and yes the time and effort you put into your travels..and yes very expensive to even make a expedition..all the best,,cheers from port saunders ,and ya friend kirk...love ya videos ...always
what ever happen to Justin? I know he's on to bigger and better things but he does have 80K subscribers.
I'm in Justin! Have enjoyed all your UA-cam posts. Will tell a couple of friends as well.
Best of luck!
Be you buddy. Love your content and style! And love Saku too! Watching from Ontario Canada 🎉
Justin, are you considering making this trip into a dvd? If no one has done it, might be worth it. I’d pre order one?
would be like 900 dvds for this trip! haha.
I WOULD PRE ORDER AS WELL, THINK ON IT
DVD's maybe after it airs on TV you never know. I can see what the demand is like. DVDs are not so popular anymore, but many people still have the players.
Wild frontier is awaiting…my money is on you… if anyone can accomplish this journey it’s you 🇨🇦
Just found your channel buddy .. you don't mess around I'm pretty impressed
Thank you So, So much Justin you and Saku, for the adventure trips across Labrador series. I watched several times over. Where do I get the book, and where do I donate?
The Hubbard expedition was as is, it did not go to well unfortunately. I hope you present more excellent
adventures. Be safe my friend. Regards, Steve from Labrador.
Thanks a lot for the support Steve buddy! You can get my book from Amazon.ca - Just search Man and Dog Through the Newfoundland Wilderness. As for expedition support, there are a few options if you desire: You can etransfer to justinbarbournl@gmail.com , send to www.paypal.me/justinbarbourNL or consider supporting on www.patreon.com/justinbarbour (here you get access to bonus content and updates from me) Take care and all the best Steve
Thank you so very much Saku and Justin. Currently i'm unable to work, I am from Labrador, and now I will be happy again from watching all of your videos ,from the island as well,

I'm so excited for this to get finished and posted. Living the dream Justin. Your content is amazing. Safe Travels and enjoy.

Worth every single penny and for the people that complained… shocking! We should all be so proud of human endeavours like this! It boosts the morale and sets our dreams and goals higher! Hard work buddy! God speed!! Xo to saku Bear and Heather

Come back from the hinterlands dude
Haul a solar Star-Link rig with you?
Solar panal
@@JustinBarbournlexplorer Not many of them made it, but a piano or 2 were brought out West in a covered wagon. A satellite up/down-ink unit weighs a lot less
So where are you dude.... We all miss your channel
You are the man that inspires us all, in the bush or in the political sphere.
We will not be broken.
Waiting patiently for an update.
Hey Justin absolutely love your channel bro. Me partner and I been watching it during the winter nights. Hey sorry ta ask bud but what happened to your tooth? Did it happen on one of your videos?
Thanks mate keep up the great content! Subbed!
Appreciate the support - it was a hockey stick about 15 years ago
I could not get to your presentation however I would still like to help you with your financial cost, etc. How can I contribute my $20?
Thanks a lot Lem. Up in the video description above there is a PayPal link to send or Patreon link. Take care and best wishes- Justin
20 bucks is less than an 8 pack of bluestar
C'mon bud. Waiting on the new videos. Got a guy all wired up.🎉🎉🎉
No puedo traducir el video cómo antes?
It's not us that does not understand youtube it's the content creators that don't understand youtuber fans. UA-cam started out as a place to post ones own home movies and it still is . Never a monetary concern with amateur movies. Most of us do not accept change to a "Commercial Capitalist Deity" that it has become. I never have and never will buy into the pay to play that's the cancer breaking down youtubes greatest value. UA-cam= Free Flicks. Simple as that.
The zoom call is a live presentation, not a UA-cam video. It is a fundraiser, not being done through UA-cam, not part of Justin's UA-cam channel. In the old days we would have gathered in a pub to hear him present on his plans and would have passed the hat for donations or bought a ticket at the door with the proceeds going toward the expenses of his trip. In this virtual world, we are gathering in the virtual meeting room of Zoom to hear Justin share and we are "passing the hat" by purchasing a ticket. It is just like when I purchase a ticket for a local theatre production ahead of time and then await the time I can go and watch the play. Justin is sharing the word about his event via UA-cam, but it isn't a pay to play UA-cam video.
Looking forward to your videos
Safe travels good man of courage, thank you for all your content, prayers for your safe adventures, Wild at Heart!
GOT THE TICKET FOR ZOOM WAS HAPPY TO PAY, TO HELP A LITTLE, AM LOOKING FORWARD TO YOUR TRIP IT WILL BE GREAT TO SEE, DO STAY SAFE, WILL SEE U ON ZOOM
Sweeeet
Good stuff man
I wonder if Zack is going along?
I'm just finding your channel now. Superb content! This year-long trip sounds amazing, and $20 for all the content you put out is a bargain (don't listen to the whiners and complainers). Thanks for everything and best to you.
@willgreen77 appreciate it , Will! Glad to have you aboard. I just returned from the year long 3900km journey few weeks ago. Documentary to come in good time. All the best - Justin
@@JustinBarbournlexplorer Welcome back to the civilization. Missed you.
Getting close, eh?
It's so great to see you standing up for the value of independent creative work. Commercially produced TV shows have tremendous budgets and usually don't offer much to the viewer, while independent creators are expected to go out of pocket, work full time, and be happy with piddling ad revenues from UA-cam. It's such a ridiculous double standard.
Heck yea!!
I wish I could be you
Justin! You are one awesome man! I'm so so jealous of your adventuring and greatful you have been able to bring us along. I imagine your travels would be much more enjoyable if you didn't have all the stresses filming can present. If I could afford to do so...I would send you a couple big Freeze Dryers so you could have some awesome pre-made meals for every occasion for you(thefam) and the pups at a very affordable price and not have to break your back carrying them! Always looking forward to seeing more from you. No pressure. Thanks! P.S. the Freeze Dryers would be of the kind that you don't have to change the oil on. I've heard the cheap models are 100 times more of a pain to use. Spending twice as much is 100 times more worth it for one with a compressor that you don't have to change the oil on.
Yikes! What about those wildfires ????
It will be okay
I'm gonna be there this after noon on zoom. 20$ is nothing to support a passion. Feed your family whit my money and I will lived my passion by earing and great outdoors man speak about my passion. From saguenay québec I support your dream. My salutation to bear, saku and your wife Eather. Sorry for the spelling.
Stay strong and safe! Bring meds to prevent Lyme's disease, etc.. Bring some life straws. and avoid wolf and bear encounters.. Oh my goodness, you're taking on quite a thing!
Justin, your drive and passion for the outdoors & exploration reminds me of Dave Halsey & Pete Souchuk with their epic trans Canada expedition in the late 70's... You are an inspiration my friend. From a Scotsman (working most of the year in the US).
Don't slow down.
Keep going bro.
Hi Justin, just found you on You Tube. Love the series across NF!! I have a lot of watching to do!!
Thanks Glenn, glad to have you. More adventures to come. Take care and all the best!
@@JustinBarbournlexplorer Funny you replied… watching another one of your videos now!
👏🏼💪🏼🌟
HECK YA! May the Lord and Glory be with you and yours, Adventurer Explorer History maker!!! 😎
Hey Justin, hope your expedition is going well. Would sure like an update on where you are? How many more km you have left? Good luck buddy🙏
Please don't delay your trip. I thought you were outta here by June until I listened here. I'd rather see you head out and delay your last video than stick around for who knows what......unless it's a family emergency. Moosh!
Ahh I didn't realize the rationale for the zoom presentation was as a fundraiser. That makes a lot more sense. And if I sign up for the zoom show, will I be able to watch it later? 3:30am is a wee past my bedtime.
I think Zoom call it "On-demand recordings"
Good luck. I hope you take a buddy with you. For such a long trip, there is so much that can go wrong. Not including the company. Inow you have your dog, but he can't do much if you get injured
Unfortunately I couldn't attend the Zoom presentation due the time difference here in Labrador, Australia and early morning work commitments. I like to go back and watch earlier videos of yours when there's no recent ones and an opportunity to listen to your presentation is worth the $20. You are about to go on an expedition that will be truly epic and I am truly grateful that you'll be taking us along with you.
Your content is second to none, epic and well done. But…. Zero schedule and massive gaps. UA-cam rewards consistent publishers as you know bc you know this business. You should easily have several million subs. Hire an editor, pump out consistent content, reep the benefits.
Play safe my friend. Your videography is inspired and i look forward to the series. Sincerely...a fellow bush rat.
