    The reason for the Roman coins in India is they were trading for goods; thinking about it, it may not be obvious for an American, but land commerce routs did indeed connect all the way already then.
    Edit: in China and Japan they were probably traded by India in the centuries.

    • @greatwolf5372
      @greatwolf5372 11 місяців тому +3

      True, but that's because India had about 25% of the world population then. Before Industrial Revolution, everyone around the world was roughly equally poor. But if your country had a larger population, it would have more "wealth".

      @PLAGA217 Yes there is a misconception among many Indians that ancient Indians were rich based on the misunderstanding regarding ancient GDP. No,everyone around the world in ancient times was poor. Some kings due to the large population of their kingdoms had a lot of gold, but everyone else(99.999%) population was dirt poor and lived a miserable life worse than the poorest person in existence today.

      @@greatwolf5372 lol if you don't know about Indian history why are you saying false things? From textiles to spices, sculptors to artists, priests to astronomers, all were very well advanced.
      Astronomy: While West was still confused whether earth is flat or not, Indians had already found that the earth is a sphere which rotates around sun and there are galaxies beyond. Indians already measured distances between stars and planets & how a year works.
      Economy: There's an ancient Indian book called Arthashastra which tells how to run an economy with everyone's benefit. Hardly anyone was poor in ancient India. India was thus called "Land of Golden Birds" as just like how birds are found everywhere, gold was found in each house of India.
      Education: The world's first residential University was the Nalanda University in India. Other famous University in India was in Takshila. Students from all over the known world came to study in Indian Universities.
      There's a wrong misconception that Indians have always been poor. It was after colonialism that Indians became poor. Today a majority Indians are middle class, many of elite class and people below poverty line are less than 10%, which is decreasing gradually by each day.

    Petition for Drew to make a series covering Ace Combat and its multiple universes: [Day 248]
    The Object 248 was a proposed modification to the aging IS-1 with the intention of equipping it with a 100 mm gun. There were two distinct versions. The first to arrive was Object 245, armed with a D-10 cannon, followed by Object 248, armed with an S-34. They were tested in the second half of 1944. At the beginning, they were considered a failure, as the modifications did not improve the performance of the IS-1 but rather made it even worse. It was discovered that the guns were unstable and could be damaged due to weak gun cradles, and the tank commander could be hit by the breech of the gun while it was rolling back after being fired. These were not fully addressed until the end of the year, when the majority of the design flaws were corrected. Unfortunately, it was considered too late, as both German and Soviet forces had already developed more advanced tanks that outperformed both tanks, and production was promptly cancelled.

    It’s strangely remarkable the likelihood your iPhone 15 will be stolen in said country as the % cost is increasing in said country.

    India got some Roman Coins coz Thomas and other Christians went there in 70AD. Some of the Roman Tax-Collectors became Christians and supported the Mission in India. India actually was one of the first establishments of the Christian Church.

    There were Roman trading posts in the western coast of India, that's how coins got there
    Coins probably reached china through merchants on the silk road
