I totally agree with you, Dior needs to bring back the real deal, Cherie 2005 ! I still have a bottle of it that I keep preciously out of light in a dry and dark place 😅

I totally agree with everything you said Yana. I too am hoping that Francis Kurkdjian will bring Miss Dior back to life. The current version of Miss Dior, while not bad, is not nearly as good as prior versions. I am a big fan of Mr. Kurkdjian' and his lovely perfume creations and have high hopes for what he will do for DIor perfumes.

Individual releases sure, but the it's really down to the quality of the blend and whether or not they're just following trends. No doubt in my mind that FK was scooped up because of his skill with synthetics. I forcasted in 2016 that after the huge success of Sauvage, global economics and the impact of climate change on raw materials, everything would trend toward cheap synthetics and it seems that's been the case. Niche brands aren't immune either. But I think you nailed it at 7:40. Really hoping scenario #3 plays out, but if it does, it'll probably bank on strong furan musk bases (like Sauvage Elixir), the FK signature rose accord, bergamot, vanillin and some sort of oud accord. Nothing daring, nothing mature, no throwbacks, no uniqueness (at least to enthusiasts) and clever marketing imagery. Business as usual.
It's money Yana. Blooming bouquet probably had expensive raw materials that's why they usually change good perfumes also ifra and regulations mean certain perfumes are discontinued or changed
I agree Yana it seems they are too greedy but they shouldn't treat us loyal customers like that. The quality must remain the same perfume is such personal thing and to reformulate perfumes is upsetting
Didn't they renamed somewhere in the 2010s the original Miss Dior Cherie to be the standard Miss Dior? Or maybe it was already reformulated Miss Dior Cherie? Damn, I can't remember and I don't have all of them to compare.

They’ve ruined miss dior completely, I loved the original 40’s version, then Cherie and Le parfum (which I still have a bit left of and am saving for when I marry Keanu Reeves). But anything Miss Dior post 2017 is just plain awful, cheap smelling, and tasteless. 😢
