Miss Dior Le Parfum is my absolute favorite from this line. I was quite surprised that you didn't mention it, as I imagined it to be one of your favorite designer frags. It is now discontinued, but still easy to find online, so snag some while you can! Mandarin, Bulgarian Rose Absolute, Turkish Rose Absolute, Patchouli, Amber, and Vanilla. Miss Dior Le Parfum is announced as an elegant, sensual, intoxicating nocturnal perfume extract. Men and women can both rock this, it is absolutely divine!
i can’t understand why ppl want their fragrances to be challenging.... isn’t the goal to smell nice? i want others to think i smell good not challenging lmaooo and man I miss miss dior cherie I am still mad they discontinued it.
There are so many newer restrictions and regulations on the ingredients used because some used to be toxic. So I think the only reason a company would reformulate a successful scent would be because they had too. Either it's new people making it and the old recipe is trademarked by the old company or there was something bad in the original formulations ingredients.
but how come chanel has a scent that's been around the same since 2001? i think companies are just trying to aim for greater profit margins while sacrificing quality
I love Miss Dior 2017. I have a few sprays left and use them wisely. On me it’s orange, rose, powdery, and slightly creamy. It’s feminine and romantic and I can’t get enough of it. Two sprays lasts all day. Blooming Bouquet I had overlooked for several years. When I first tried it I just had a hard time smelling it. I decided to give it another chance a few months ago and now I love it. It’s sweet and tart. The musk is beautiful in the drydown and surrounds you all day. Le Parfum is the one I’m saving my money for :)
I have 2017 edp. It’s warm, sweet and has great lasting power. The opening is peppery but it subsides in a few minutes. What I like most about is the drydown. The drydown is gorgeous. I only wear it in cold weather. Otherwise it’s too sweet for me.
You have such a calming voice. It somehow goes along with speaking about flowers, fruits, and all that. I totally did not focus on the perfumes anymore, I just let them play to soothe me. :) Very vivid descriptions, tho. :)
My absolute favorite was the miss dior cherie. I would buy this fragrance all the time until they discounted it. I’ve been in search for a substitute. I have found that the Mon Paris from YSL is amazing. And does come close to miss Dior cherie !
I own Blooming Bouquet even though I kind of knew the performance was lacking. I LOVE the note of peony!!! I agree with you- all my nose picks up is a fresh peony, I don’t get the rose and not even the fruit. But the performance 😱😭😭😭 - it’s gone from my skin within 15 min. I mean if I stick my nose in my wrist, sure I will still smell a faint residue of the scent but that’s about it. I have never met a fragrance with such a poor performance. And I know it’s not just me, I have heard this from many reviewers. This is really unacceptable. At first I was going to sell it but I love the scent so much , i mostly now use it to spray my sheets and my underwear drawer. Question. Do you know of any other fragrances that feature peony as the main note? I would love to find one that stays with me. Thank you for the review!!! Love your channel! My little but very wearable collection is growing thanks to your reviews 😃👍🏻🥰
Hmm...peony isn't a note I've paid much attention to for some reason (even if I do enjoy the smell of it very much), but the first that comes to mind is Armani Prive Pivoine Suzhou. That one I smelled one time a few years ago, and it still has left a lasting impression in my mind some years later :)
Thank you, I will def need to get me a sample. Also, just thought of it. One of the most recent releases from Maison Lancôme- Pivoines Printemps- has the word peony in the name, so it’s promising, but so far I haven’t even been able to smell it. The tester bottle in my local Nordstrom is already empty and has not been replenished yet 😢
I completely agree with everything you said. I LOVE peony as well. And i would take the bottle of Blooming Bouquet with me and just constantly respray. Ill have to check out that Armani one. And I've been interested in Dolce Peony.

Instant love with Blooming Bouquet. Yes, it is not strong, but it is elegant and intoxicating as a good fairy tale. It would not be always my pick, but for times when I was at a peak of my health and fitness. Definetly does not go well for bars, pizza places or bbq.
As much as i love Blooming bouquet I have to admit that youre right about the longevity. Its crap. I was constsntly respraying throughout the day. But i just loved it for spring so much. And yeah Absolutely Blooming has great longevity and sillage compared to the others. I just wish i liked it more.
I got a sample of absolutely blooming and I really don’t like it it makes me feel sick, it’s like toxic sweet something. I had miss Dior when I was young, I don’t think it was miss Dior Cherie as it was a pink liquid, but it was many years ago and I remember it being Absolutley gorgeous. I don’t know what year it was or what it was. After reading a lot on line I’m too scared to buy the current miss Dior and I feel lost and wish I knew what the bottle I once had was. Also- I have never smelled the original miss Dior Cherie. But I heard that eden perfumes does a good dupe -“‘miss cherry” - I got a bottle of that and it is very nice so if that helps anyone they can try that. Otherwise I feel like giving up on miss Dior which is sad cos I loved it, it’s too confusing to navigate.
I have Miss Dior 2012, which I hate. That's why I never wanted to try the new one (2017). But this spring as we had to stay home I tried the 2ml once recieved and forgotten. Yes, this is so much better. Warm and sensual... I tried the 2012 again to compare... no, no, no... this clean version is really not for me. It's like a cold garden, with cold Roses straight in line. Like a distance Lady without emotions, because they may be dirty. When your mother wants you to put your white dress and you are not allowed to play with other children outside because it can get dirty. You have to be a perfect child like her perfect garden, perfect house, perfect dress... but nobody can imagine this pressure und control behind this perfect picture to the outside world. Miss Dior 2017 is closer to the skin? Yes, this warm and inviting scent makes you trust in the naked beauty of yourself.
So, I recently bought the 2021 version - btw. Dior in fact seems to be reformulating Miss Dior quite frequently, new laws and regulation may be one reason, but I do think I read at some point that as Miss Dior is supposed to cater to the 'younger woman' they do adapt it to more modern tastes regularly. What people perceive as 'youthful' smelling changes quite regularly just as fashion does. The original Eau de Toilette from 1947 was a green and earthy scent, 2012 version was still very very heavy on the Patchouli, the 2017 version was comparably more citrus forward. I guess their marketing and product development team just figured Patch doesn't sell quite as well to the young 20 something anymore I guess? Anyway, obviously it sucks for everyone who has fallen in love with one or the other iteration of the fragrance when yet another reformulation rolls around and you can't get your beloved fragrance anymore. Worse yet when you only learn about the reformulation when you already purchased the bottle by just realizing it smells different. I'd prefer they'd gave those new formulations more clearly different names. But well... About my newly purchased 2021 version... I am in love. It smells AMAZING. Very sweet, very warm, very enveloping and most important for me... the patch is gone. I like patch sometimes, but for the last 10 to 15 years it was just too omnipresent. I'm so happy the latest iteration is not another fruitchouli. It's just rich and feminine and I can't stop smelling myself
2017 is my favorite!!! I don't always like patchouli, but the blood orange is DIVINE and balances the patchouli. On me, or to my nose, it's not screechy at all!!!
I have a question about Miss Dior EDP. I started buying it in 2018, I think and sprayed it in my office. I got very used to the scent and never thought twice when I bought it. Then one day in late 2019 I came home with a bottle...sprayed it...and immediately was like, “whooooooa...what is that😳???”. It smelled like bug spray. I kept thinking it was my imagination, but eventually couldn’t let it go. So I exchanged it, thinking it was a bad bottle. Same thing on the next one. It was then that I noticed that the packaging looked very slightly different from the first bottles I had. According to everything I’m hearing, the new formula that so many people can’t stand came out in 2017. But I’m wondering how possible it is that every bottle I bought up until late 2019 was the older version. My question is, has there been another update since 2017?? I’m just learning how about all of these different formulas and I think it’s nuts. Even if they have to remove former toxic ingredients, you’d think they would have the budget and team to find a way to replicate the older versions with different ingredients. It’s very confusing. Anyway, if you know anything about updates after 2017, please let me know! And I’ve just bought a small bottle of Miss Dior Cherie from eBay. Fingers crossed it’s either authentic OR smells exactly like the real one did. I’m desperate to understand what the hype is all about!!! Thanks for your honest review❤️
I don’t like absolutely blooming because of the fruity notes, i don’t like blooming bouquet because it feels kind of basic and childish in a bad way. I love miss dior the perfume in each versions, and I like the eau de toilette but a lot less, and finally I am totally addicted and in love with rose n rose. 💗🌸🌷💗💗
Thank you for this video--I love Miss Dior! My favorite of the Miss Diors are Miss Dior Le Parfum (cozy, warm, yummy) and vintage Miss Dior Parfum from at least as far back as the 90s. Have you smelled any of the original versions?

I think the closest version (sort of) would be Miss Dior EDP 2012, because it also has a strawberry note (NB! only these two Miss Dior perfumes have a strawberry note!), but the 2012 version no longer has the caramel sweetness and the popcorn note. @@e.starling141 hello which one do you think is better ( sweet floral and not to strong but ppl can smell me :D) 1. Channel coco mademoiselle 2. Dior blooming bouquet 3. gucci flora 4.chloe eau de parfume Thankyou
@@maureens9191 I think Id say Coco Mademoiselle? I love Blooming Bouquet (prob my favorite scent of these) but i had to respray often. (If longevity wasnt an issue I'd choose this one.) I wasnt the biggest fan of Gucci Flora personally due to one cerain note (im pretty sure its the osmanthus which to me gave a synthetic peach note), however I do think it has decent projection without being over the top. And its very sweet. Chloe is very pretty and popular. I used to love it but retried it recently and dont anymore. Its a slightly tart, true rose with a lot of musk. Can come off powdery and rosy. Not that sweet. And it does have great presence and longevity. Coco Mad is popular for a reason, its a beautiful scent and excellent sillage and lasting power. I personally never loved the opening due to the citrus, but it dries down really nice. Very warm and sweet. It has this classy and sophisticated smell to it. People will definitely smell you and you only need a couple sprays. All that being said I think theyre all good perfumes and many people seem to like them. But as far as for this season I'd choose Blooming Bouquet or Gucci Flora. (I dont know if that matters to you as you can do whatever you want.) I tend to think of Coco as more of a fall/winter scent. And i think Chloe could be wore year round. All in all i dont think you can go wrong. Theyre all nice its just going to come down to taste and the things i mentioned. Hope it helps some! 😊 Oh and if you like sweet I'd like to add Comptor Sud Pacific Vanille Abricot. Its that brands best seller and is a beautiful sweet fruity vanilla. I always .got compliments when i wore it. The other would be Lancomes Tresor a La Nuit Folie. A gorgeous warm sweet vanilla that has fantastic projection and longevity!!! One of my absolute favorites!! I could go on but ill stop there. Lol.
I have 3 Miss Diors Cherie (original) le parfum which is GORGEOUS & the ordinary edt VERY disappointing (twas a blind buy) you didn't review le parfum that one is drop dead sexy
My hubby gave me a bottle of Blooming Bouquet as a gift and I have to admit, I don't really care for it. I think the peony note is overpowering to me. I feel badly, because he surprised me with it, but I don't enjoy wearing it 😔
I really enjoy brand reviews. Thank you! Blooming Bouquet for me is an easy pleasant scent. Not groundbreaking, but not generic. Absolutely... I agree with almost everything you said, except I don't find it generic. On my skin, I get a sweet juicy tartness; not groundbreaking , but ok. My Miss Dior is the 2012 EDP. I wish I had gotten the Mis Dior Cherie when I had the opportunity. I have only gotten compliments on the Edp. Although, I like the Edp the most, I wear Blooming the most because it is so easy.
My Miss Dior EDP arrived today. I got a tester on Monday, a day after smelling a perfume on a woman just like it, & it was amazing! A sign I thought.. so I figured I'd treat myself as I've never bought an expensive perfume. Stupidly I bought the big bottle as I loved the tester.. What a mistake! It smells nothing like the tester, just more of an old lady perfume (and I'm not far off being an old lady myself!) The sample, young, fresh, fruity.. the bottle, old, alcohol and headache seem to by the only notes!?!! Wished I'd not bothered. :(
I purchased a rollerball of 20 ml of it today, after trying at a Macy's store at a a Dior counter and it is the Absolutely Blossom and I liked it right away. I will try the Miss Dior Cherie next time.
Dude...idk what Miss Dior I sprayed on myself at the mall but when i smelled the bottle it smelled amazing, it wasnt the blooming ones it just said miss dior. I sprayed some of the tester on myself and it smelled very fresh almost a green note but then once it started drying, like within minutes it smelled like the dry down of Jessica Simpson fancy almost exactly. Opening notes were very different but the drydown was truly almost the same. It was really weird
Miss Dior Cherie was really the greatest! Such a shame they discontinued this little treasure☹️

4.chloe eau de parfume
Thankyou
Lol.
You look great in those glasses! :)
I have 3 Miss Diors Cherie (original) le parfum which is GORGEOUS & the ordinary edt VERY disappointing (twas a blind buy) you didn't review le parfum that one is drop dead sexy
Which year it's your edt from?
It smells nothing like the tester, just more of an old lady perfume (and I'm not far off being an old lady myself!)
The sample, young, fresh, fruity.. the bottle, old, alcohol and headache seem to by the only notes!?!! Wished I'd not bothered. :(
Oh no! I hope you're able to return it?!
I purchased a rollerball of 20 ml of it today, after trying at a Macy's store at a a Dior counter and it is the Absolutely Blossom and I liked it right away. I will try the Miss Dior Cherie next time.
Edna Quintana Cherie is discontinued :(
Dude...idk what Miss Dior I sprayed on myself at the mall but when i smelled the bottle it smelled amazing, it wasnt the blooming ones it just said miss dior. I sprayed some of the tester on myself and it smelled very fresh almost a green note but then once it started drying, like within minutes it smelled like the dry down of Jessica Simpson fancy almost exactly. Opening notes were very different but the drydown was truly almost the same. It was really weird
Hmm...I'm curious now too which one it is :)
Miss Dior eau fraiche?
Ik heb nog nooit n dior gekocht.....de foei gaan er altijd uit zo hatelijk
miss dior cherie is the best for me, but so bad it discontinued😔
Wish there was a numerical system here
