Went through the whole thing and I'm just in AWE!! You brought classic Lara back in a way I thought I'd never see again, and you absolutely nailed it! (I never even realised before how much Chloe actually gives Lara vibes.) She looks perfect, like the natural next step from Underworld, and I also love how you didn't "dollify" her (you know, tons of make up and completely smooth skin without wrinkles) but instead make her look believable and fit right into the Uncharted. Kept her body muscular to be a believable adventurer but also kept her femininity, it's the perfect Lara balance if you ask me! Might be because of the Chloe's original voice too (added to the subtle wrinkles) that she feels bit older here, like in her 30-40s, and I love it. You clearly have a lot of genuine love and respect for Lara, and did her justice instead of focusing on her looks/body/sex appeal like many other modders would have. Thank you for this mod and all your work, I salute you, I might actually buy the game one day just to experience this mod myself!
Thank you very much for your kind words, I really do appreciate it. For a long time there's been such a polarising debate about Lara being sexualised, how the devs counter acted it, etc. And to me it never made sense. None of the characters in the original games treated her improperly, she was always seen as an equal for her ruthlesness and brain. I really wanted the mod to showcase that her original design wasn't innapropriate or equal to a blow-up doll, it's what the marketing team did and how others reacted to her is what made her polarising. We never needed to move to the opposite extreme to get away from that outdated messaging, the series just needed to respect the roots and demand respect.
@@Swiz19 Yes, exactly! Often the discussion seems to be dominated by the two polar opposites; the ones who say Lara shouldn't have big breasts anymore or appear sexy at all, and the ones who claim she's totally ruined without them and see her as just eye candy. But the problem never was Lara's original body but how the marketing objectified her to the point her creator left. It's like you said, just give her the respect and it's fine. I think the first CD trilogy did well on this, keeping her original body yet dropping the objectification. And the reason why I said I'm glad you didn't make her look over-the-top sexy is because I've seen the people who try to "fix" female characters by turning them into practically perfect models and without muscles just to look pretty. Hence why I think your Lara is perfect here
When I saw Chloe, I thought she's straight a Lara croft rip off.
@@Swiz19 Feminists are opposed to eye candy. They're goal is to make the woman's identity independent of the man's preferences. The video game industry is now under the western financial world's grip. When video games became a culturally significant medium, they treated them like the music industry, the movie industry and television industry, where everything is controlled and decided by the western financial giants, which we can see have been pushing feminism and woke culture through media to influence and shape society.

Devs probably intended it as an hommage to Lara. Maybe even anticipated Lara outfit in mods.

This was more tomb raider than the recent tomb raider titles.
Screencap 1:08:12 and tell me that isn't the picture perfect vision of what Tomb Raider is. Also, the costume changes are a nice touch. So good I wish there was more! This is truly the best.

You're so right. I'm new to the series, started with the Survivor trilogy (unfortunately) and was expecting what Uncharted had: historical locations, a mystery for treasure, cool action, and just an adventure. What I got was...well whatever the heck the Survivor trilogy is. I enjoyed the first one, honestly, but by the third I can't stand that version of Lara. I am so looking forward to the older games because then I'll actually get what I was expecting, and actually, ya know, raid tombs, lol
I don't know about that. Locations and attitude is right, but the formula of the "action piece- cover shoot out- slight exploration in very obvious ways" that dominates the game is their specialty. Reboot trilogy copied this and that's one of the departures that has made Tomb Raider games lose their gameplay identity.

I found your videos and binged them for hours... It went dark and I'm still sitting here watching Lara with Uncharted... Amazing combination. I don't know how all these big funded companies get huge amounts of money to create things the general public doesn't want. It takes a creative fan. I mean look at the amount of views and comments you get. I'm subscribing :)
Lara magically changed clothes on that fall from classic to Legend/Underworld in the transition of episode lol.
Thank you genuinely and most sincerely. Been a fan of Tomb Raider since it came out, and I haven't recognized the franchise in a good while; but you brought back the old Lara in all her glory. Incredible work. I say you set the standard for what she should look like for modern graphics, and making it Chloe is brilliantly close to her.

The Lara mod shows very clearly that Uncharted is the spiritual successor to the 90s first-gen Tomb Raider games. Hopefully someone will mod the other two characters to at least change up their attire.

This was both nostalgic and exciting to watch! A glimpse from the new old days, with Lara Croft, in her most obvious form, and in her usual environment. I miss her running and shooting, dual wielding her Beretta pistols, but one can't actually have everything. This here is the closest to everything, to the dream heaven one gets with Lara Croft anyway. Thank you so much, sir, for the tremendous effort you must have put into this for me to be able to shed a nostalgic tear.

Cool that it is based on classic tomb raider, very exciting scenes....
But to much bang bang ....as old tomb raider has its purpose in being mysteriously adventurous....with sounds that evokes wondering...beautiful ruins though....but to much bla bla ....and in respect for Lara Croft...as an English talking adventurer.....it should be less talking....but cool boxing scenes with the egoistic materialistic guy at the end....

It's the PC version of Uncharted: Lost Legacy that has been modified.
The Tomb Raider game Eidos will never make.
If I might make a helpful observation. When breasts are held down by a stronger material, like a swimsuit or a gym top, they will also flatten out to the sides in equal measure, only pushup bras push them in and up. It will also stop that strange effect of Lara having a thin torso but veeery wide shoulders.
you could make another version of this mod, but with Lara's face close to Rise? ^^

Chloe is more pretty.
I truly miss the silent and lonely scenarios with only Lara doing her acrobatics and solving puzzles with some jump scares here and there while facing some enemies. It's frustrating to see Lara becoming a female Nathan Drake shooting everything and in a full action game

The Uncharted : Legacy of Thieves Collection was released on PC almost two years ago.
