When people lose a loved one, one of the first instincts is to run to a warm and loving community, generally friends or family, for support. In the hyper-alienated and atomized late stage capitalist hellhole that most terminally online zoomers live in, their friends and family only exists as an audience on the internet, and so they run to them instead. Thank youuuuu! This is the grossness of TikTok culture. I've been seeing these on Instagram and have been so weirded out by them. Sympathy clout. Using dead loved ones as props to get attention. That's all it is
My sister died of Cystic Fibrosis at age 15. My family, including me, who was closest to her, were very upset, and I even came close to taking my own life (I still have the scars). Alot of people don't even know it happened, even though it was two years ago. Her old friends sometimes come to me to ask how she's doing, and it hurts to open old wounds. Burying grief is one of the most common ways to handle it. This girl, does not care they are dead. She only does this for clout. Because people truly grieving want nobody to know
I feel like they never cared in the first place. I have lost a pet I found my rabbit dead in her cage and my first thought wasn't to whip out my phone.

Nowadays people will do anything for attention. I guess they just feel the need to try and gain popularity even if it's at the cost of others. Absolutely sickening.
First of all it’s not that we want clout. It’s that we need people because we truly don’t have anyone at home or in our life to support us. Sometimes we all need a hand to hold. And second off people grieve in their own ways :)

"Are you a tik tok user?" should be a question asked in every job interview. "Yes" should be a deal breaker.
I know you upload daily but make sure you don’t over work yourself love the channel ♥️
i will never understand this kind of mentaliity. i had a friend who's mother died from cancer and the first thing he does is posting that on twitter, i just discovered by a third source that is mother died and was after the funeral, me and my friends would like to be there for him, but he posted the death and the funeral on twitter while is closest friends were in the dark (none of us have a twitter account). it was so wierd
I would never have a mental breakdown on camera I would say it when I'm mentally recovered
0:33 the opposite of wonderwoman
Thank youuuuu! This is the grossness of TikTok culture. I've been seeing these on Instagram and have been so weirded out by them. Sympathy clout. Using dead loved ones as props to get attention. That's all it is
Bro people just don’t realize how disrespectful it is to use a passed family member for clout like bro.
Idk why but UA-cam just pushed me into this video the second it was created
it's a sign
My sister died of Cystic Fibrosis at age 15. My family, including me, who was closest to her, were very upset, and I even came close to taking my own life (I still have the scars). Alot of people don't even know it happened, even though it was two years ago. Her old friends sometimes come to me to ask how she's doing, and it hurts to open old wounds. Burying grief is one of the most common ways to handle it. This girl, does not care they are dead. She only does this for clout. Because people truly grieving want nobody to know
If I see someone crying online, I immediately click away. Same with someone “helping” someone. Once the camera turns on, all respect is lost.
Is this what's social media's done to us? Turn us into sociopaths who would use dead loved ones for likes?
relax, they're already sociopathic morons, the internet just drew them out.
This reminds me of the financial crisis of 2008
I feel like they never cared in the first place. I have lost a pet I found my rabbit dead in her cage and my first thought wasn't to whip out my phone.
Sorry but yeah these ppl are just using there dead bodys for clout
Jake Paul: First time? 😏
Why did Rick and Morty actually predict this trend with the hot funeral selfies?
Thats what I thought as well
"i dont know what to do anymore"
stop lying
"That's another fatherless child" fits so well for the last one
Here’s my problem, they do it for attention, making this video is giving them that attention
Well it’s negative attention
"nooo my parents died"
"what do I do?"
maliciously looks at tiktok
Humm? Yeah I should make a video about this
Let’s just appreciate that this guy uploads every day...
His upload proves that donald trump should be re elected we need tiktok banned

@@brickbraker5033 🙏 thanks, I’m going to the funeral in a few days
@@thegladbatch8282 best of luck man , hope you'll be ok !
Clout is a drug, some people are just so addicted to it to the point where they would do anything to get a decent amount of attention, I really hope the person who posted about their family member dying gets IP banned. This stuff shouldn’t be allowed on tik tok.
@@redhairedgodlybeast3143 whole heartedly agree friend they need to be banned
Ngl the fact they decided to record this is mad funny lol
I always love this gameplay! Deforestation 😳😍😍 Optimus World 😈>
Same
"Seizing to exist" is a funny thing to say.
I love how this is tagged as a fundraiser
ok
it's the charity Opti's been running all year
He's generous
He’s fundraising.
This has been happening for years tbh. Once I saw a guy from my school post a selfie on instagram in a suit literally saying "going to dad's funeral"
Nowadays people will do anything for attention. I guess they just feel the need to try and gain popularity even if it's at the cost of others. Absolutely sickening.
who needs popularity when you have family
First of all it’s not that we want clout. It’s that we need people because we truly don’t have anyone at home or in our life to support us. Sometimes we all need a hand to hold. And second off people grieve in their own ways :)
Clout.
Will probably go down in history as one of the worst things humanity has ever conceived.
This is one of many reasons I don’t use tiktock.
I've been saying "we live in a society" all of my life ironically, but I think today's the first day I say it unironically
