usually really decorative cakes don't taste very good at all but let me just say. I, a very beginner cake maker (very very very beginner) made a chocolate cake using her recipe and it. tasted. amazing. of course it didn't LOOK anywhere near as nice as yos but it tasted amzing and was super moist even without the simple syrup!

I love this video because this is one of the first videos I ever watched on your channel. This video really amazed me! I've been watching your channel ever since and I love you and your cakes. You really inspired me to bake more. I love baking, but I never used to be confident. I would become really upset because, no matter how hard I tried, I couldn't bake and decorate as well as all my favourite bakers.
