Switzerland is a mountainous Central European country, home to numerous lakes, villages and the high peaks of the Alps. Its cities contain medieval quarters, with landmarks like capital Bern’s Zytglogge clock tower and Lucerne’s wooden chapel bridge. The country is also known for its ski resorts and hiking trails. Banking and finance are key industries, and Swiss watches and chocolate are world renowned.

Hello, thanks for talking to me... Have a good Easter
Wow, so much information, so interesting, some facts sound iffy, some seem cool, the view is great,, great informative video,
Haha, thanks for always being the first... I'm glad you enjoyed it
We’re going there on June this year, thanks for the info and tips. I’ll keep them in mind 😊
Hello, I will be filming more of Geneva. Thanks for the feedback
Ive been watching alot of videos in swiss laws . Fines for spitting. Fines for throwing any trash in a public can . I mean like if you bring a candy bar from home eat it walking down the street. You can't throw away the rapper! Just saw this on a video.the dude got a 196 Euros fine ! Another lady paid almost 800 for buying her meat in France. I can't believe these Police cant find anything better to do . Its really sad that such a beautiful country would make it so horrible to live their.
You have to own two or more Guinea pigs. This law makes sense because guinea pigs are social and need a partner or two partners.
I agree. Nobody likes to be alone maybe humans need the same rule 😂
Sounds very authoritarian
Great video, Geneva is a nice city 😊
It really is! thanks
0:58 ❌The No Flushing toilets after 10 PM «law» is the biggest urban legend of the world. Everybody in Switzerland can say it's wrong, you still will have someone saying it's true. But It's wrong. You can't have that in a law in Switzerland. It's only about the fact we tend to be the less annoying neighbours and respect the silence for people. You can flush the toilet, and you can even take a shower. That will be fine.
1:25 ❌ The law imposes, for some animals, to be in pairs. For birds for example in a cage or hamsters or guinea pigs. For dogs and cats it's not required. It has nothing to do with having a pet on its own for the day.
1:36 ❌ Wrong again. You can. It's just people try not to recycle glass on a Sunday morning avoiding making noise when the bin is in the street. It's just common sense.
1:50 ❌ You can wash your clothes on a Sunday.
2:08 You've been the only one annoyed by the flag. Unless the sound of the video is super high, we don't even ear it. 🤣
I repeat. People saying it's true don't have a clue. It's an urban legend. You can't find any tracks of people being fined for flushing the toilet after 22 PM. The guy who confirms it is French and is not even living in the country. 🤣
Hello, thanks for your information. I actually gathered the information from Google. Cheers
@@travelwithwill1 I don't know why everyone keeps on saying it but... I lived there for 25 years, and I never had this problem. ;) I mean just imagine on a Saturday night a party. Do people really expect not using the toilets after 10 PM during a party? It doesn't make sense when we think about it. Great videos. I hope my country and its people treat you well. Welcome to Switzerland.
I flashed after 2200 regularly ...nobody complained.
But according to the law it's forbidden to have lights on the balcony
You rule breaker... haha. I didn't know about the lights. They love rules
I lived in Geneva in th 70 no such a laws at that time were in place but the fact I lived in apartment and yes we could hear everything from the neighbours around so I suppose after complaints they put a law in place hello from Australia were I live in a house and no problems of the kind cheers 😊love your videos lovely to see Geneve and how much it has changed
Hello, thanks for that information. I think the city must have changed a lot for you. I have more Geneva videos coming, I hope you enjoy them...
So houses in Switzerland are just like American ones, stapled cardboard?
I bring with me la "liste d'amendements" on traffic behaviour and how much cost each infringement. It's based under real, fricky situations. Nothing it's for free in Geneva...
Haha, it's so Swiss. The love the rules
You’re still high after Paquis.
Flush the toilet whenever you want. Respectful, washing machine or loud noises after 10pm Sundays no. “ if you’re in apartment “ some places have the washing machine in the cave, not apartment “ let people know if you are having a party in advance “ common curtesy “ to be honest it’s all common sense. But take a piss where you want!
Hello, thanks for the Information. The rules change often.
Have you heard about a new rule about dogs?
Hello, what is it?
@@travelwithwill1 I live in Geneva...but there are so many rules that I just dont understand.
