Around 1:30:00 when squirrels speed decreased dramatically I think it was because the objective glitched counting every mushroom you picked up as a completed objective which increases his armor
i got to the point i measured it i had so many bounces and splits it was going over half the map but i never got damage to really kill anything with it fast but it was top damage cause everything was taking so much damage
Cartoonz, I don't know if you'll see this but, if you want a fun roguelike game with modding capability, try Risk of Rain 2. It's a really fun game that has multiple characters to choose from and endless potential for builds. Want to set everything on fire? We got a build for that. Want to summon the ghost of your foes? We got that as well.

Ive sunk a ton of hours into risk of rain but even with all the mods it can get a little repetitive and with most builds in the game the late game rounds are pretty much just 1 click or no click and everything within a certain range dies
selecting targetting the highest enemy is what stopped the healing, you made your core weapon no longer target close enemies/allies, it puts you in danger as your core damage focused on the big slow enemies not the small fast ones. you probably wanna use that feature on abilities that don't heal or aren't your core of damage.

Hmm considering the lowered speed turns to walking in reverse then wouldn’t it be perfect for the weapons that only shoot forward? That way you can shoot the monsters chasing after you as you moonwalk for more speed XD

It increases the tick/DPS. It's half the reason he got so much damage with it. They all do damage in intervals, even the beam/pulse, and the cooldown upgrades lower that interval resulting in more damage (in fact it often results in higher damage output than the actual damage upgrades).

Dmg I understand but he also kept increasing range when it was past the screen. Another 30 min he could've grinded other spells then focused on cooldown again on multiple spells
The 4 best spells is rune burst, necro whirl, falling stars and the beam. I'd also suggest to at least get two elements for each spell even if you don't like it.

I for one agrees with the max-min build. why split your powers four way and do moderate dmg each when you can up one power that absolutely obliterates everything. and there is no “maxing out” any power, it just keeps getting stronger and stronger off the base value
Why? He maxed the 3 spells that worth anything, he maxed the DPS thanks to combining the cooldowns and damage buffs, especially for the beam (hence it having insane DPS) and chose team-boosting upgrades like XP gain and healing. It seems like you don't understand the mechanics of this game.
You could've chosen better options for buffs, like base cooldown decrease by 9% instead of stars's cooldown decrease by 10%, but overall good run; I like this game.
@Cyb3rM1nd necro wheel wasn't bad. In fact, it was great for slowing down enemies towards the end if he chose a different attribute. He didn't see the value in it since he didn't progress it 2 hrs in lol 🤷♀️

It's like a 10% increase to the pulse's size. Acid on the other hand reduces their resistance so they'll die faster in the area.
