I'm currently modding 3 of these. One for myself, one for my sister, one for my nephew. I've never modded nerf anything. Only toys I've modded was a gbbr for airsoft. Never thought I'd play with nerf at my age, but my nephew (He's 9.) wanted his mother (My sister.) and I to play nerf with him. So bought 3 holiky's now I'm challenged with modding them. I hope you put out more vids on these. It would be a big help to my self and many others to see how you get around the performance issues, not to mention the killer ascetics you bring to the table.
I put a sprint dash motor in for the pusher and it greatly improved trigger response and fire rate (Chris from project nerf did this but he added buck converter to use the board it came with then rewired for 3s with new motors, cage & switch)
FYI - think if you flipped the cage over (and modified the screw ports) it might have fit. Ran into a similar problem moding a Newisland modulus clone.
If they made these so that a stryfe motor cage could fit in this, they would sell a lot better. Maybe if someone designs a cage that will fit these will be more of an option
Its the exact same thing as the Snowcinda blaster you showed off a few months ago Dr Flux. there are 2 versions of this blasster out there aka 2 different kits in 2 different colors aka Red and Blue. with the blue blaster getting a different kit compared to the red blaster. Same main blaster and internals with that same Li-on USB based battery for them all and they all seem to have that sluggish firerate with the crap battery and low FPS thanks to it as well. These 4 blasters and kits are showing up by different sellers on Amazon abut are basically the same thing across the board. They also all have the same 3 round burst problem where you have to actually keep the trigger pulled to get all three shots otherwise you may end up with 1 or 2 instead if you let off early
Nice work on that build. I’m surprised, given your history of internal mods, that you didn’t take on an internal mod as well... in any case it turned out awesome.
Up the speed on that pusher motor and ditch the control board and I bet that pusher will be much more responsive on 2s I wonder if it can easily be fitted into a Stryfe

To me, that motor cage looks like it's from a Modulus, or maybe even the Jyn Erso blaster

actual peq boxes are used for laser/night vision specifically. looks pretty good considering it’s nerf
A PEQ is for using with night fire while under IR using night vision
