Fronius TransSteel 2700 menu and secondary menu explained

Fronius Trans Steel lineup 2700,, 2500, and 2200 even 4000 and 5000 menu options explained. There are a a few differences but still very similar across all the lines.

You should set your Syn to US as well, as the synergic line database uses different gas compositions when pulling the values for WFS/Voltage.

It is DC only so you would not want this for welding aluminum tig. You can mig weld but not tig weld very well. AC would be the preferred way to tig aluminum.

Can you explain to me what unit is used to measure metal thickness on this device?

In the US setting it is decimal inches. .065 =1/16" .120 = 1/8" .185 = 3/16" and so on.
In the Standard it is metric
