Unfortunately I'll probably never be able to afford something like this but i appreciate you showing everything up close so i can at least enjoy it through the screen. Always enjoy your reviews man.
absolutely stunning figure that is not only a cool display of maximillian style armor but also looks like a character in his own right. that shoulder cape says a lot about the person wearing it along with the cocky expression and lace collar, this is a guy very sure of himself to say the least. I do wish coomodel would make lower end versions of their armored characters, maybe sacrificing removable layers or going down in scale, they make some of the best armors I've seen for this sort of thing and I'm about to break the bank getting one of their 2022 dragon knights so a lower cost variant would be appreciated.
Thanks for your comment! Yeah the prices are insane. I would love to get their latest Gothic Knight or the Tournament Knight but I just can't justify spending that kind of money on them.
very nice, i agree with you on the coomodel price, most people don't want to spend half a grand on a single fig. but it is very nice to look at. also keep that red cape away from.. well anything that isn't the metal on the armor. it touches it's bare head sculpt it's going to stain it, if it touches the wall it's going to stain it, if it touches another figs non red clothes it's going to stain that etc. take it from someone that's had a couple of roman centurions from various companies over the years.
Triple A's -astounding, amazing and awesome. And that rooster helmet! Prices can reflect the quality of the figure and items which can engender the utmost respect for those who make them. You think-how did they do that? The wow! factor. But agreed, the prices are now increasingly unaffordable for many figures. Dragon were in their heyday, affordable though obviously the detail reflected the price and the period in which they were made. It is annoying as you have said when you pay "through your nose" and things break, do not fit or fail. For that money you expect and are entitled to total quality. re the feet, I am thinking that they are "flat" to facilitate standing. This knight is superb and shines out though!!!
Thanks for your comment, Peter! I appreciate it! And yes you're right, prices on all 1/6 figures are getting higher and higher these days. It's a shame. But at least we're seeing some awesome figures being made like this one. While the price is insane, the figure itself is undeniably incredible.
@@sirmathus96 Indeed- you can't deny the work which goes into producing these is so amazing and you cannot help but revel in it- and be proud you have the figure - this one is heartstopping.
Awesome review of a really spectacular figure. I've been tempted by COO's knights, but the price is just too high. A few years ago I was salivating over their Polish Winged Hussar and Horse, but I couldn't justify spending almost $700 on it.
Thanks man! Oh yeah I remember seeing the Hussar and wanting him badly, but the price scared me away too. I wish they would make some $200 figures again like they used to.
He looks great, Sir. Are you going to have to polish all that armor over time? 😮 I've got the two CooModel Pontifical Swiss Guards - yep, very expensive. Fortunately, it's just the two and they will be a one-of purchase.
Well i Love the Maximilian fluted armour.but all weapons supplied Look odd and fantasy.first No knight wore have sword on the Back...this is nonsense.the halberd looking very fancy als ITS nothing used in combat.the Item ist more Something used by palace guards.the twohander has an incorrect hilt....more No Knights did use such ITS the weapon of landsquenet doppelsoldiers.the Mace ans sword do Not Look to good either.alas the figure ist marred by this incorrect features.for the price Not to tolerate.pitty ITS very Strange that they do reaerchbinbthe Armour which is perfekt and do Not delivering in the weaponry on it🙄
Yeah I understand the frustration. Coomodel often melds historical armor with fantasy weapons. It looks pretty cool, but it's not historically accurate.
@@sirmathus96 at this price Not to tolerante i bought the poptoys Hussite handgunner as the genoese crossbowman.with mid 300 bucks they are extremly good.historical correct the Details are wonderful.i prefere poptoys over coomodels and the black knight Gothic ist the best Gothic knight.ok ITS an female which is nonsense too but visor closed ITS OK and the slim outlines suit the time frame.the Red knight from coomodel again with Matt Damon head IS Not correct there where blued gilded armours but No Red ones.so If i buy an knoght ITS the popttoys black which goes for 260ties
Awesome review as always man! Really happy you keep the channel going !
I appreciate that, thanks bro!

Thanks man, I appreciate it! I totally understand. It annoys me how expensive Coomodel figures are. It's hard justifying buying them.

Thanks jose! And thanks for the tip on the cape, I'll be careful with it.
