You make the best Team Yankee batreps I have seen so far, you have to do this more often. I just love the mechanics and visuals of this game, and I love your whole attitude while gaming and talking about it. Great stuff!
We basically played a game of 60pts a side, lol! I'll be back soon with a British squadron but also need to let Jon have a swing with NATO again. I'll see what i can conjure with my Soviets.
Quite the ballsy move to go with Leo2s! You have to play them really well for them to get cost-effective. Of course, just having them on the table can intimidate your opponent. The only way I found that works against them is to overwhelm them with enough tanks that you can get side shots on them. And that is a big "if" (even with my Tzechs). Great looking table by the way! P.S: And while I drink my coffee and enjoy watching this batrep, I am once again reminded of the quality of these reports. Keep it up!
Can hardly wait! I'll be rooting for the Soviets, but first and foremost I'm looking forward to an interesting game played with good sportsmanship as always :)
And now, after watching this I gotta agree: these games are freaking brutal! Good game though, as always :) I guess on many lists they probably don't make sense, but would love to see more strike aircrafts on these games. And hills! More hills to get little more uneven terrain! Me and a buddy of mine made 5 linkable "northern Norway-ish" terrain boards with sort of built-in elevation and there's optional locations to place additional hills. We estimated we can, at some boards, make four levels of elevation difference. Gonna definitely need a laser pointer for the games, but the point here was that, well, would love to see some hills on these games as well :)

Enjoyed that...I find with TY due to range of guns and abundance of laser range finder, some more LoS blocking terrain, especially around the middle, works well. YNWA.
Very good game. To my knowledge the only handheld weapons with enough AT to even hurt them are Carl. G's and the Soviet rpg7. The super heavies are really hard to counter.
This is very odd rule, on 28.36 your storm is technically is blocked line of sight by first leo2a4 but you still get to shoot it. Its a bit sad this kind of situations have started lots of unnecessary dissection's who can shoot who because true line of sight.
I get where you are coming from. Only friendlies block line of sight, not enemies. It's a rule I like because it would be way to easy to abuse if friendlies could be used as shields.

Variety is the spice of life! But especially in wargaming, switching it up means more lessons learned, and knowledge is power...
At last! I missed Team Yankee in the channel. Thank you!
Mark !! ... remember .... "You'll never walk alone" 👍👍
many thanks for showing and please keep up these good Battle Report's
Great batrep. Those scimitars are such a fun model to build and paint.
thanks enjoyable for sure
Great to see some TY action!! Love your stuff guys!

Thanks! Sportsmanship is our first goal, lots of miniature carnage is the second. :)
@@AllMiniaturesGreatandSmall You've done really well to achieve both 👍😄

One thing I haven't seen is cars on peoples tables.

YNWA.
Strikers are absolutely awesome
Unfortunately, mine "struck" out this game :)
Wow, this is different ... coming in late I dropped out of the chat to avoid spoilers
To Mark, I just have two things to say mate, Tottenham Hotspur F.C.!!! And down with the Kopites!!!
Well that was fun, very good game. 🍻🍻🍻
These games look the best. You guys manage to not have massive parking lots which I feel like I see pretty often.
Thanks!
Ok now I know why I root for Mark! Go Reds!!!! One more reason to love AMGAS!
thanks!
Really needs to be played at 300 scale, things just look a bit crazy at your current scale
im curious where the guy in the liverppool shirt is from his accent is unusual

Thanks, I think both Mark and I are a little bit rusty but we are getting better.
More team yankee … when you get a chance please :)
Team Yankee will be returning. We really enjoy that game!
Rooting for the Germans as the underdog

It also makes sense, what army cares if the wrong enemy gets in the way?
Infantry have an a.t. of 19.
