- After surviving The Long Dark for 500 Days on Stalker mode...it's time to try the same on Interloper. There will be no firearms, looted hatchets or knives. We must make our own defenses and tools in order to survive this self-imposed challenge. It's time to see if we achieve victory or die a horrible death like everyone else on Great Bear Island.

The Long Dark Interloper is the hardest mode in Sandbox mode (The other difficulties are Pilgrim, Voyager and Stalker). The game describes that this mode is "For expert players looking for the ultimate wilderness Survival challenge."
In The Long Dark Interloper difficulty, you start with the most minimal resources, supplies are very scarce and Wildlife is rare, but it is more dangerous
- Interloper was a new game difficulty, introduced in v.364.
- The world becomes more hostile to you as you play. Global temperature drops, wildlife and fuel resources become more scarce, and Blizzards become more frequent.
- Apart from the Hacksaw and Hammer, which spawn rarely in the world, you need to create all your own improvised tools (ex. Hatchets, Knives, etc.).
- The best Clothing and Food items do not spawn.
- Wolves are more rare, but also more deadly.
- Wildlife becomes more rare over time.
- There are no firearms in the world.

Some UA-camr who has a whole bunch of unsubstantiated rumors being slung by someone who is monetizing the accusations.
Nobody has turned him over to the police which should tell you how solid the accusations are. At least that's where it stood last I paid attention. Which has been a few days.

I think you need to prioritise getting rid of the scurvy, the fish give you a minor amount of vitamin c but if you have any peaches or rose hips you’ll recover a lot faster. Not trying be a back seat gamer though you should play however you want.
Cat tails are good for scurvy they have moderate vitamin c and low calories so you can eat a lot of them. Another good scurvy aid is the stew recipe from pleasant valley.
i would absolutely love to see aurora with my own eyes... videos, pictures and videogames are one thing but... unfortunately its pretty unlikely in my area. there was a rare occasion this year but it was absurdly cloudy this night so... no luck there :(
since you are just using this one fishing hut on the lake, i think storing the tip ups, some water, a can of lantern fuel and some wood in the drawers would make the most sense. all nice and clean organised and it doesnt clutter your inventory which is already reduced due to the heavy clothing items. unless, of course, you plan on taking the tip ups with you to costal or you plan to move to another region.
i scrolled back, you had 0.16L of lamp oil while doing the crafting so you got 0.37 liters out of those fishes by the time you checked.
looking forward when the scurvy is gone and we can "continue" so too say. keep up the great work

And u need keep heavy hammer out there hammer is lot easier and cheaper to repair then prybar or ax knife is. and between all the tools there no difference in time to break ice hole. Just hammer is easier to repair

If you want to get rid of that scurvy quick, you're going to have to fill Will up on fish and maybe a birch tea before bed.
Ice fishing, not need to bother with other natural remedies, they are chores (birch) or finite resource.
