I guess you can have a good time, but I think the point is, you'd expect more for the price tag. I think most people would expect to experience more.
Entertainment like the street entertainers and Osbourne lights used to be included in your general park admission, so it now feels like a difficult pill to swallow.
Goodness knows DW is now too expensive for us, nevermind the after hours events..🤷
I’m gonna follow your lead and skip out on waiting for tip top Club. Muppet show and nightmare and jingle bam will be my go tos. Good coverage and seems like this event really is all about the order you do things and luck of the draw.
I feel like this title is meant to please disney. The people criticizing this event are being genuine and hoping to improve the event. They had fun in the other videos too, but the criticism was the price and comparing to other Christmas parties

I have been watching for years since I was a teen and I’m 23 and my 8 month old sits here and watched everyday right along with me and he always has the biggest and brightest smile when he sees you all! Him and Oliver and alike as well and watching Oliver helps me know I’m right on track with leytons milestones! You guys are the best and we love y’all!
This event looks potentially fun. But for the price, I would 100% wait out the bumps as they figure out how to optimize the guest experience. There are other festive happenings that are a lot less expensive and a bit more practiced.
I hope the enthusiasm for the Muppets encourages them to use them more in the theme parks! ❤

Loved Jenn being out after dark with you ! The show looked great ,but if I’d paid that money I would have been disappointed at not being able to get in the singalong and the lines for food and drink ! They should have given everyone a Gertie cookie! Still a fabulous vlog as per usual Tim !

While this didn’t convince me the party is “worth it” for those of us that must budget and sacrifice other things to save for an event this costly. It did seem you two had a pleasant time going around the park even if you didn’t do what the party offered. Did you ride any rides and was there any kind of overlays on them?

I think it is definitely what you make it. You said people might be wasting time standing in long food and drink lines. But a majority of the event revolves around food, drinks and 2 shows. So, it is not unreasonable for people to want to try the party foods and drinks. And then to have to make a reservation to enter the Brown Derby is weird to me since it is part of the experience you paid for. But either way, we are going and we are looking forward to it! We are def going to enjoy as much as possible and we love the HS holiday, vintage atmosphere :)
Tim sounds more like Kermit than the new Kermit. Though to be fair, Tim is an absolute dead ringer for Kermit. #notmykermit
I literally laughed so hard out loud when Jenn said she was "gonna taste the rim" and Tim said "ugh", my laugh was so loud and my office is so quiet. My co workers were like "umm what the heck"

Miss Piggy and Kermit were definitely great to see in live form and not them on a screen😊 Love the Muppets😊 That entire show looks so awesome, I'd definitely want to see all those characters 😊To bad y'all didn't see the Nightmare Before Christmas show. Looked good to. I think for the first time the event is happening it is still good, just needs some improvements. Lets see if they improve it next year and then judge it. First events of any kind, and not just Disney is a play be ear and see what people think. If need improvements, then the next year have it improved. I never been to Disney for Holidays, although i plan to in 2025, but UA-cam is so great to see for now😊 Thank Y'all for showing what y'all did. We just checked in for the party tonight at 6:00 next to the Muppets. There’s another one at Star Wars Launch Bay. Likely a few others as well. A cast member told us they’ve made quite a few changes since the first party.
Thank you for presenting another opinion. I went the first night and completely enjoyed myself and was able to do everything I wanted do with a little preparation.

As I have gotten older, one thing I’ve realized for ME… is my attitude towards something really makes a difference. I appreciate that the Trackers try very hard to find the fun. They also say when something is not good for them. I know many other channels are focusing on the negative and that is understandable too, it brings viewers. As someone with chronic health problems, I’ve got to focus on the positive or life would just be too hard. I guess I’m saying please don’t think people are being untruthful when they choose to find the fun!
Also… regarding the cost… Disney has never been a “bargain” and it does seem by the number of people at these events, Disney is charging the “right” amount. Could it be better? Sure!! But as long as these events sell out, why would Disney change?

As someone who’s half Puerto Rican, I love that WDW is finally getting in on celebrating Latino culture in the parks. Not gonna lie, I’ve been a bit jealous of what they’ve been doing over at Disneyland in recent years!

Thank you for this video! I’ve seen a few reviews now and it seems a lot of vloggers confused going to an event as a job with going to an event to have a good time. You both seemed to approach it as two people wanting to enjoy and so you did. Having to review every cocktail and food item ensures a bad time and isn’t what any non-youtuber is really going there for. I can’t tell you how much I appreciated your perspective and am

But isn’t the point of having event specific food and cocktails to try them? This makes no sense lol. A big selling point of these events is the special food and drinks

exactly! You can still try new things, but don’t “need to” try everything in order to enjoy the event. I also don’t personally always care about the food/drink and am way more excited about the meet and greets and the shows. Seeing Ms Piggy and Kermit live is a dream. I WILL be getting that Gerdie cookie and the mint soft serve because that sounds tasty.

My highlight of the night was meeting you guys! Our twin girlies are still talking about how they got to meet Jackson’s mommy and daddy.
It's interesting to see how vastly different of an experience people are having. I was talking with Peter and Kitra on their channel and they said they had such a horrible time that they don't even want to make a video about it. I have not attended the party, so I cannot speak for myself. But just from watching videos from other vloggers, this does not appeal to me even a little bit. That being said, I am happy you guys had a good time.

I was there that night and didn’t enjoy it as much as I hoped I would. I had park hopper so went a bit earlier but when I asked cast member where I could get my Jollywood passes within the park they told me I had to leave and reenter. It all seemed very unorganized to me. I did both shows and enjoyed those. I got a few photos ops but didn’t have the patience to wait in more lines for food & drinks… Starbucks was faster. I skipped out on the fireworks due to the downpour. I had a good time but I enjoyed Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party way more (which rained all night).
100% agree how you start the night makes a big impact on how the rest of the night flows. We had some setbacks and some time that we felt was waisted, but our night took a turn after the Holidays in Hollywood show and after some of the food lines got more manageable. We enjoyed the entertainment and even with the lines were still able to try a bunch of food. It was so nice to see people dressed up and the ride times were super low. If you look at it as an after hours event with a holiday flare then I think the event is worth it :) Also, some of the MK after hours events are just as expensive and only 3 hours. It was so wonderful to see you both and hope to see ya sooner than later!

This is a perfect example to show that the question “is it worth the cost?” has a different answer for everyone. For me, it doesn’t look worth it. But for someone else, it may be. I appreciate videos like this that show what’s realistic to get done and you can make a decision that’s right for your family.

I wonder why the party portion is all confined to only those areas? Then entire park is open as are the rides. None of the party food I’ve seen looks that good nor do the drinks. We e purchased tickets but will probably treat it like genie+ and lightening lanes and just ride the rides and eat regular park food.

Is the nearly $200 price tag worth it just to see the Muppets and the sing-along? Like you two, I don't drink alcohol. The two shows looked okay, but not worth the price (to me) to fight the crowds. Keep your expectations low and you won't be too disappointed. We'll be staying at Wilderness Lodge in a couple of weeks and we'll attend MVMCP on the 7th. That party has much more to offer than Jollywood Nights. Always enjoy your videos.

I wanted to go to that first Jollywood Nights so bad but unfortunately couldn't. I'm hoping I could go to at least one of the but if not I hope they bring it back next year. I love that old Hollywood feel. It did look like a fun time...at least the way you guys did it. I too have heard from people that they had a great time and others that had terrible time. Why is it only 4 hours? They were hyping the top 5 things, and if the line and experience can take an hour each they’re already expecting guests to compromise and not have a full experience.

I am sorry this is not getting good ratings. It's very crowded, and honestly, it seems like an overpriced mess. As much as I love the parks and what they convey Disney needs to create better and more for their ticket holders.
I get the impression from the reviews I have seen that the entertainment is top notch and that is what you are paying for. And it is geared towards adults more. If you don’t care about buying food or drinks and just try to see all the shows I think it would be worthwhile?
I was very excited to meet you guys. I know it's cheeseballs, but it was like meeting a celebrity for me. I would have loved a picture, but I could tell you guys were on a mission to get food. FYI, I had the birria tacos earlier (had to wait for fresh ones to be made) and they were juicy and moist.
The long lines for me would ruin the evening. It's to be expected with any Disney Special Event, and it makes me think are the events over sold?Two things I would wait in line for , to see Tim,Jenn, and the boys, and the restroom. 🦃♥️🦃Happy Thanksgiving to all of you...
It's definitely oversold or you wouldn't have the long lines and the limited offerings.

It's almost $40/hour per person. So a family of 4 is paying $160/hour just to exists in the park. If you stop and take a 15 min break. It just cost you $40 to just sit. If the tickets sell, then I guess they are not overpriced. Way out of what I will pay for this.
Disney’s prices are really pricing people out of the experience. Not good.
Oh yeah, that's a totally valid criticism of the event. That's why we didn't talk about the price because the value of something is so subjective, it's different for everyone. But we talk about and show the fun we had. It's possible to have a good night. We hope that came through in the vlog :-)

Listen it's disney, it's expensive- if you can afford it it's a lot of fun. If you don't think it's good value for you that's fine but don't knock on people who want to go and enjoy it. Every aspect of life these days including entertainment is expensive. I will probably never go but I am enjoying watching others do it. So thanks Tim and Jen for letting us see what it is like. I will be going to Disneyland next summer with my boys. Saved for two years - that's just life. Excited for my trip hurry up and come August😊

Tim, you and Jenn did a great job on this vlog and were very convincing, I believe you did have a good time. I think it was overpriced and not long enough. My family and I attended MNSSHP, paid $109, and were there from 4:30pm-12:30am, that was great! Happy Thanksgiving!
Personally, besides the rides, I LOVE being inside the parks, walking around, looking at everything and soaking it all in, like being inside MK an hour after it closes is magical. So that price for 4 hours only is not my cup of tea. I want more time in there, instead of rushing from ride to ride. I've done MVMCP many times and love it, but it's much longer. I'm going to HS soon, but not this party, instead I'll have 12 hours inside the park to enjoy rides and all the vintage Christmas decor. 🎄

This event seems like a miss for me personally, too expensive for what you get. It needs more. They should of added Life Day things in Batuu & spread the crowds around the full park. I have friends who work in DHS & said it was a disaster on their end too, they were not prepared lol But I’m glad you enjoyed it & I hope they take everyone’s criticism & make it even better next year. ✨

I think the no alcohol vs non-alcoholic distinction can be important for people abstaining for religious reasons. Like most of us wouldn’t care about giving a kid something that had a chance of having a tiny bit of alcohol (similar to some extract flavorings), but it may matter for someone with a religious conviction
