Once your table is ready, you’ll be notified to proceed to a specified location.
Important Information
Entertainment and experiences are subject to change.
I feel like, if you are going to pay that price, everyone should have an opportunity to do everything they want, without having to try to get on a wait list. But I'm glad Nate is having fun.
Agreed
I know they need to make money but wheres the line between that and overcrowded parks where it diminishes everyones experience.
@LadyRed31 Yeah I think you are right.
At least you get a rain check.
Agree. I was there…definitely not what we expect from Disney. More like something Six Flags would offer
Walt didn't have this is mind when he built parks. I think he said he wanted it to be affordable for everyone. Not just for vloggers and rich.
What they should do is scrap this Jollywood nights concept and go full Muppet! I would do a complete Muppet Christmas party and call it The Very Merry Muppet Christmas Party and bingo bango you have my 180 bucks!
that would be iconic
That definitely was not worth the $180 price point. It was very underwhelming. They really missed some great opportunities for a lot more fun.
Can't wait to see what you thought. I loved the Muppets show, but the rest of the night was a pretty big letdown for the price of the ticket.
$180??? SCAM. Come on Disney this is just straight up extortion
There should also be a special souvenir included for everyone that attends
Thank you for taking us along, Nate! It was awesome to see the very first Jollywood party. I agree with you, I like Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party better. But I think there is potential there for the Jollywood Party.
I've never seen such a panned Disney event on social media. 😮
They need to give snacks and cookies....and extend hours.
We just came from the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas party this past Monday and it was outstanding! I brought home so many cookies and had so much hot chocolate at the party and eggnog and apple cider and the theming was amazing and it was a little cool so the weather was great I would not pay for 4 hours for $180 but I thank you so much for sharing jollywood nights because that way we got to see what it looks like
I’m a little disappointed in this review you should have showed it for the dumpster fire that it was and said how you really feel about it so many people have tried to sugarcoat this disaster
This was horrible!!! I was there. Crazy money for little offerings, crazy crowds, long lines… just bad!!! Disney has a problem, they need to fix this or just cancel it!!!
So exciting!! 1st ever Jollywood Nights!! Can’t wait to watch and see it all! 🎄
Hope you enjoy it!
The won’t refund a future night?!? Ok, Disney, stick to your policy. I just cancelled $8k of room reservations for next fall and won’t renew the AP. See you 2025…maybe Epcot will be done?
So he is one of the influencers that got VIP and skip the line treatment. His video is the total opposite of other Hollywood videos 😅.
What a great show ! The performers live against the movie background, the props, 'Night Before Christmas ' sing along was like Broadway at its best ! Enjoyed this part of the video much, hopefully I can see it in person one day. Also, the hat looks great on you Nate.
Thanks for the honesty. That seemed like a complete waste of money. Thank you for showing so I know not to go. 😊
We are in Orlando for the informer meetup because of you. It’s my birthday on the 18th and nothing would make me happier at this event then taking a birthday photo with you! We hope to see you tomorrow or Saturday! Thank you soooooo much for turning us on to this 💗💗💗
HEY FRIENDS!! 🤗HEY NATE!!🤗 Let's go do this!!🤓
Hey Friends Hey Johnny!
But how good was the singer at 14:38??? The voice, the dress, the charisma!!! Loved, loved, LOVED her. And the video, too, of course😉
I would definitely pick the Christmas party over this.
Great vlog Nat , thank you ! The shows were so good ! I’m with you I think it’s too pricey
Nate my friend! Excited about this video because we can’t do Jollywood since we got kids…so this video will do! Hope you had a great time and btw, thanks for sportin the hat in your last video 😝 looks good on ya hope Gracey appreciated it lol 😂 cheers 🍻! Have a sunday funday
Cheers! I hope you like it and Gracie loved it
We were there. It was really disappointing.
No. I would not. Keep in mind the 180 is just the entrance which you would have to factor in all the other to get a fuller experience and that’s just way underwhelming. But glad you guys had a lot of fun!🎉🎉🎉
I had a great time in this Florida visit! Heading back shortly...☹️
Glad you had such a great time. Can you believe it is almost a year since we were there 😢 fingers crossed we can make it back again one day! X
Wow amazing! I love this so much next year we need to all get together
@@PagingMrMorrow Yes, next year I will be in Florida all winter, so hopefully we can get together!
@@jenniehart172a You will! I just know it!
Don't tell JoJo but you have more fun at these events I love it so shhhh lol😊
too expensive for two shows similar to the ones they give you on the day and one mediocre fireworks...much better in 2017... I'll definitely choose the Mickey's Very Merry Christmas🎉... 700$ for family of 4... Is there really anyone who can tell me it's worth it?
Note to self: Skip out on eating & drinking and focus on meeting characters, watching shows and going on rides, if possible.
Good plan I like it
@@PagingMrMorrow thank you! I’m gonna be going December 4th! Really looking forward to this… especially the Muppets. 🤗
From what I've seen it didn't look worth the hefty price tag. After reviewing comments, hopefully Disney will improve or change things about this party. Be nice if there was some beverages or snacks included. I get what they were going for, but it certainly fell flat. Thanks for bringing it to us Nate!!
It was a bit too crowded in some spots, but overall, I had a great time. That atmosphere for HS alone is spectacular. And the Nightmare Before Christmas show was amazing! But I would not wait in line 2 hours for a cookie.🙄🙄🙄The Magic Kingdom cookie give away is handled much better and took me less than a minute at each stop. HS will learn.
I didn't catch every word, but did Nate disclose if he was there for the media event part? Just wondering about possible conflicts.
Going on Dec 6, we’re excited!
If they are going to charge nearly $200 for a single party ticket, they need to plan better and drastically reduce the crowd capacity. I would have been pretty upset to pay that amount of money for 4 hours of being in a huge crowd of people standing in long lines everywhere you turn. And to top it off, they couldn't even give out a few free goodies? Not a single sugar cookie or cup of hot chocolate? Geez. Skip this and go to MK's Christmas party instead.
Your channel is my favourite on UA-cam
I want your Santa Hat!!!
He sponcers for Disney. Thats how hes able to always go. And now his hes a passholder. And shows his merch. He staryed to make in other words he works for or deminstrate Disney in different countrys.
The price point is wild considering the lack of substantive entertainment & only 4hrs. MVMCP is cheaper (on certain nights) with way more to do. see and experience, for a much longer period of time, especially if you go in at 4pm! Disney definitely needs to re-evaluate what’s happening at Jollywood. From what I’m seeing it’s pretty laughable.
Hmm...maybe it will get better as it goes on. From what I saw I'm not sure it is worth the money, at least for me. The crowds looked insane. Seems like the Brown Derby was a bit lame and a huge time drain...
Nice Christmas hat, Nate! Looks like a wonderful day!
Ever since Destination D23, every time I hear Mickey & Minnie, I see the voice actors in my mind. Is anyone like this?
Thank you for this video! We were in Hollywood studios that night and left before the event. After watching it, it seems like a cash grab. $336 for 2 people and food and drinks, I want to see cast members doing skits dressed in the 50’s like they used to have. I would love to see more character meet and greet. More deeply thought out Disney magic and flare. It appears beautiful with everyone dressed up, but it’s almost like people are dressed and nowhere to go. Nightmare before Christmas was not a sing along , although characters made that show. I would love to see electric mayhem or more muppet characters. But that’s just me! Thanks Nate!! I wouldn’t pay to go, sadly
Everything Disney does is a cash grab
we love your videos!!
Well let’s hope they learn from this and make next year even better!
Looks like a good time and the entertainment is fabulous
I think the better question is did YOU pay the $180 to attend. I didn't watch the video, so maybe you covered this. I notice alot of central fla vloggers get comp tickets to the parks' events in exchange for the free favorable advertising.
You're battery oh no 😂
You are correct. There is no real decoration for Christmas other than tree. Nothing at restaurants or in streets. Muppets show was only Kermit and Ms. Piggy. Not worth the money at all. Very Merry Christmas is the party!!
They should have had the Citizens of Hollywood out
This is generally getting very poor reviews.
‘Oversold and overpriced’, I saw one review say.
Another Disney money grab.
Save your money don’t go to this mess 😅
OMG the price of the tickets no way another Disney money grab. Another thing families can't afford to do. Plus how many tickets did the sell that was mobbed. Sorry but this is a no go. But I am glad you had fun with your friends.
Paying almost 200 a ticket to join virtual queues and wait on lines doesn’t sound like it’s worth it. It should be longer than 4 hours.
Looks like a good time. That is the biggest Minnie I have ever seen! ❤
I hate how expensive it is and yet things sell out and it’s impossible to do everything in one night and to have be constantly go go go
During the show was that Belle and Tiana? Or just other performers? Im unsure lol
Your weekly content rocks! Disney needs to hire you.
I thought the party was not worth it.
Although parts of the party looked nice it definitely isn’t worth that price tag. I would never pay to go to this.
If they sold 100,000 tkts for this event at $180 thats $18 million without food included.
For the price the offerinflgs were not unique and speical. MVMCP is magical, the cookies and overlays like Jingle Cruise make that event special. I appreciate what Disney was trying to do...this just didnt hit.
@jolly
It needs a lot more for what you pay for it. You look great looks like you lost a lot of weight. Love your festive shirts and looks like you have a lot of nice friends. Well maybe it will be better next year they had to start some were.
I’ve been waiting for this vlog! Thank you for taking one for the team because I think Disney should be embarrassed about this event. Spend $180 to go to a party and then spend hundreds more?!?! Disney failed in every way on this one imo.
Only thing Disney cares about is the almighty buck.
That was just plain sad! Pay almost 200 to get in and have spend a ton more to eat and drink? Disney has hit rock bottom!
I liked when it was MGM, open until 11pm and had the Osbourne Christmas Lights without any special ticket.
That’s a very steep ticket price without any included snacks or goodies. The Brown Derby looked ok, except the charcuterie was a bit disappointing from the video. Their pricing structure has become charging more and more for less and seeing how far they can go before they tip the scales and attendance begins to drop. I think we are beginning to see this come to fruition. All in all an excellent, honest video Nate!!
So so agree with you !
Nate I love your videos but come on this disney event was horrible. Disney once again disappoints. You never explained how bad the drinks were at the roll up cart called the tip top club. Pre made garbage for 10 bucks. The brown derby Christmas was the same brown derby with a little Garland throwing up and a piano player that didn’t do all Christmas songs
Yeah that’s everything I said at the end of the video totally agree with you
They did nothing at the Brown Derby! lol Where is the holiday overlay!? There is litterally NO change! Lol Smh. what are you paying for again?!
I think this party is a great idea, but they definitely need to increase the number of complimentary perks that come with it like MVM. I found this, and the Halloween party lacking in that area for the price you pay.
I get that it was the first night, but for the price it was pretty underwhelming. The experiences and food, at times, made it more of a Jollywait Nights. So many cast members were in the dark about things, it was very disorganized, not many offerings, and for the same price you pay for Mickey’s Christmas Party, it was pretty shameful.
The highlight though? Getting to meet you (and probably creating one of the most awkward interactions you’ve had at Disney 🤣)
Thanks for sharing your take on things!
I agree 💯 percent…the highlight for me was also meeting Nate and a few other vloggers but between waiting for food and characters the night flew by
what a ripoff. I'm cancelling my tickets. Not paying 180 for this. Thanks for covering as usual Nate.
Disney needs to remember we love being there because we can be kids at heart again and one of the things we enjoy about the after hours events is feeling like a kid trick or treating and getting free cookies and hot chocolate and the Mickey bars etc. At that amount of money there most definitely needs to be free items to make you feel extra special and as a thank you for spending that large amount.
I wish I hadn’t already bought tickets to Jollywood Nights. Considering not going, sure wish Disney had a return policy 😕
I'm sorry but that was a poor effort by Disney with all the appearances of a giant money grab. It is insulting that Disney feels that the event is worth $180.00. Thanks for showing us the event Nate, you made my decision so easy on this event. The Disney downward spiral continues.
Love the enthusiasm but the night as am exclusive event was a bust. The jack sing a long was incredible though
too expensive for what you get
Absolutely ridiculous! Not worth a single penny.
Your meal for the night should be included in that price at $180 if they aren't doing hot chocolate and cookies 😑
For the price, I'd expect (I guess not really expect, but id prefer) them to cap the attendance a lot lower than what I've seen. Sounds like it was great if you wanted to focus on rides, but if you wanted to try focus on experiencing all of the actual special event stuff it was a let down for some people.
Thanks for your honest opinion, Nate. It was nice to see you enjoying the season with friends.🎄Happy Holidays🎅
I would say it's not worth the price. They need to add value to it. Some of this was available for free before. I feel it a money grab. Believe me I love Disney but this was pretty bad. The Halloween and Christmas parties offer so much more for your money. Thanks for the videos, love them.
What are the odds that Disney will improve the event to make it better this year? We are planning on going, but now I almost wish we would have waited to buy tickets. Thank you for always being able to find a silver lining and have fun no matter what.
Highly doubt they will change anything. All they see are the dollar signs. As long as people keep paying to attend these events, they will think they're doing great and don't need to improve anything.
No one can answer that lol you'll just have to wait tbh
I was not impressed by what i saw for the price. I am thankful for your video and sorry you got so wet
It sounds like there's at least an hour line to do anything at "Jollywood Nights," and even buying a pretzel is a 40 minute line. I think Disney way oversold its tickets and it was way too crowded to be worth the admission price.
I think that it is way too expensive for only 4 hours and they don't have any free offerings like cookies and eggnog and apple cider. Rain is expected in Florida any day so I'm not upset about the reign of course but I think that jollywood nights is not worth the price of admission for the special event. I honestly think Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party is so worth it
That bill was probably like 300 bucks for 5 bites of food each lol
Was also at the opening night. Honestly thought it was a disaster. Only good thing from the event was short wait times for attractions and the stage shows they offered. Also I saw you in front of Tower and got a photo with you but was trying to have a conversation with you and stormed off and acted like you could careless that I was a viewer. We stood there waiting for you to finish talking to another UA-camr and you acted like you didn’t want to talk. I appreciate the photo but would have been nice to actually get to talk to you.
You paid $45.00/hr to sit and pay for food and drinks…
wild
Just based on seeing it Mickeys Very Merry Christmas Party has more value and more things to do also the cookies and hot chocolate.
This is giving me more New Year’s Eve party vibes, rather than Christmas.
We were 100% disappointed. Wouldn't do again. Rise was on queue and broke down just before we were called. The wait list for Brown Derby was a $#!+ show. They could have decorated the city building around the Muppets would have been a nice throwback for Osbourns. About half of the shops were closed. Wasn't happy about it all.😊😊
All I have seen from all of the bloggers is how long the lines were, starting from the line to get wrist bands. If you are going to pay that much, you should be able to experience as much as you want.
Another over priced disney money grab!
Just love your videos Nate! Im really looking forward to spending this holiday season with you and your friends. Hope we get to see Mom and Bonbon some time too. Youre a lovely guy with a fabulous channel. thanks for the content and keeping it wholesome so the family can watch!
Did he say $159 - $179 per person?! Nothing Jolly about that!
Nate, I usually like your videos but this one was poor. No mention of ride wait times, no characters or wait times for characters, no snacks (just brown derby apps).
Unfortunately, that was all we had time for I think that’s where the miss was with the party there was no time for anything else
The list of characters:
Star Wars Launch Bay area-
Minnie or Mickey
Donald or Daisy
Pluto or Goofy
Around Hollywood and Vine restaurant-
Chip and Dale as RR
Phineas and Ferb
Max as PowerPoint
Pixar area-
Frozone
Enda Mode
@@PagingMrMorrow bummer. Well good to know the price does not seem to be worth it.
Thanx for sharing! So not worth it! Not even time to ride rides. Should've, at least, started at 7:00 to give people more time. And you didn't even get the cookies and hot chocolate. Bummer! And just a suggestion, clip a tiny totes umbrella to your belt/loop or tuck into your back pocket. You live in Florida 😂😂!
I saw that the shrimp cocktail was $14 and literally was 3 shrimp 😂
$180 is about 4 times what I’d pay. Not enough to do, they need pop up food stands, roving entertainment, activities and lots of side shows along with millions of lights. Perhaps ride overlays.
I liked it. But didn't love it. Lots of improvement needs to be made. Especially to food venues. They chose the smallest locations to serve so much food. Shows were okay.. Muppet one was really good. I feel it was a decreased value over the ones held at MK that include better fireworks, a parade, and cookies with cocoa. I'll probably return next year hoping these small issues are resolved.
