@@porkflaps4717 Clear green could be used to shade the yellow parts and it would look great and go with Zack's scheme very well. The pure yellow, not so much.

Before seeing it actually applied to Sinanju I don't think the color scheme would work! This is crazy, you made a good job!! Can't wait for the Unicorn one
A "bad" RG bandai kit is still worlds above 90% of model kits out there, realistically. Especially when you factor in the reality that things like GKs have worse problems as a matter of course and it's just an accepted thing we expect when we work on them. Gunpla builders expect utter perfection and easy, rote builds and gauge things based on that idea. It applies to literally no other models in existence but Bandai pulls it off almost all of the time! If you didn't need to modify or file down or resculpt, it was an easy build.
Yeah it’s annoying. People see a kit’s knee fall off and instantly call it terrible. Like people forget any positives about the kit, like the fact that it looks amazing, because of one negative point. I build other kits too like jets and I call it a good kit if it doesn’t need to be 50% putty and entirely rescribed. Sure kits like these can be a bit more difficult to work with but for some reason people forget that the end product is a nice looking modelkit.
May have to try this color scheme out eventually. I always look forward to your videos to see your opinions on a kit. I was wondering how you got the box art's on the wall to stay? I've been trying to do something like that, but it doesn't look very good.

Gouf Custom Gelgoog. Gouf Custom Dom. Gouf Custom Messer. Gouf Custom Spoon. (Gotta' practice with my airbrush somehow...) I am gonna' need a _lot_ of miniguns...
the Sinanju in this color scheme makes it look like an insect in the vein of the Aura Battlers from the Dunbine series, speaking of bad kits that needs improvement there's the HG G-Self who in my opinion the engineering is like backwards compared to the HG AGE Gundams before it.
Did you go down a look at modelpalooza this weekend there in Florida? They had gundam stuff and a 5foot high Star Wars atst walker....boats....planes. Lots of stuff to draw ideas from....I'm thinking of kit bashing an Aoshima car with a Hasegawa jet or WW2 plane with crazy angels.
I was thinking, can you use the stickers of the hg to mask off the gold parts if i painted the kit? I mean its already pre cut right? Anyone tried this already?
I felt bad when you do the battle damage on the head but it turns really good and now I wanted a couple more on the body , not much like 2 or 3 more. Overall Another great work.
Your paint jobs are amazing. What’s the technique to getting such a smooth, polished look to it? Does it have to be lacquer paint? A certain grit for the primer? Has to be more than just top coat. 😮
A combination of all of those things! Well, primer grit not particularly that important. But yes, lacquer and a good airbrushed topcoat. Also, prep work is important! Sanding and washing parts before painting
I used to same system weapon parts bazooka on my Sinanju RG and after some modding to get it to fit, I had a very nice add on, though it is a heavier weapon so the arm struggles to hold it up
They used this color scheme on a MS or two with the Zeon Remnants in MSG Unicorn, did they not? If not, they were pretty close if I remember correctly. I know the Marasai was green/orange/white but I want to say maybe the Dom Tropen or some other desert colored MS was similar to this.
My brother hates the RG GPO1 FB with a passion (mainly since it's the only modern version and it has a tendency to fall apart) so it would be interesting to see you tackle that kit as well.
Just got those weapons from gundam base and had no idea that bazooka was for Shinanju :0 Now I'm going to have to get one for my weapon set. Do you HAVE to strip the gold to paint it? Personally, I'd probably end up painting mine resemble the kshatriya color scheme.
yeah might give this RG Sinanju a shot and try to modify it's RG frame in order to gain stability.... but IMO the RG Sinanju deserves a better RG frame of it's own instead of reusing the RG Gundam Mk.II's RG Frame 😕
If there is one kit, visiting this 2 y/o color scheme video I don't think this would look good on? HGUC Nightingale. Way to alien of a design for it to fit. As for the RG Sinanju, it looks....meh. I think the ornateness of the normal gold on black being white on orange makes it look gaudy against the tan. Though a Sinanju Stein in these colors would probably look pretty good in my opinion.
As always, you make color combinations and matte/flat finish work. Practice really does make perfect, or at least a very close approximation to perfection as anyone can get. Good job Zack.
I refuse to like this color scheme and yet the sinanju looks so good🤣🤣 something about the orange makes the markings stand out! Also I’d recommend weathering more if the sinanju so the face damage isn’t the only damaged part making it look unfinished!

I like my Astray RG but I absolutely can agree. Parts don't really fall off of it but mine feels super spongy and hard to look good in a pose since it looks so skinny proportionally.
Feels like this could just be turned into a whole lesson in color theory. Some color combinations just look good on anything.
Sinanju Rebake: Full City! Now he just needs a big hedge clipper mechanic on his shield.
The yellow beam effects prob won't look good with this color scheme but I bet the neon green Sazabi beam effects will look good on that shield!

Awesome! 👍
Maybe an update to this kit. If could you put a LED eye in with out destroying it. That damage with a Red LED eye 😍😍

Hey ZakuAurelius, how about doing the HG Gundam Tristan or G-Savior? Both definitely need a fix.
Maybe another stab at revisiting the Tristan could be fun
I was interested with this RG, but I realized there’s lack of sharpness on the gold insignia parts due to parts seperations.
