Amen. I'm a mediocre, self-taught bassist and videos like this make me want to pick up the instrument and figure out all the crazy things he's doing. Kinda like Les Claypool when I first heard him 20+ years ago. I know for a fact that Erlend likes Claypool as well.

My sentence structure is rubbish, Alex is a very humble guy :) When you play it's so nice to see such a talent absolutely plugged in to the cosmos of possibility and play as a god but still have a cheeky grin of pure enjoyment....just saying, hahaah :)
