Thanks for hosting me guys, it was a really fun game even with the hushbringer really shutting me down :)
Talk about fast combo decks, pretty sure this game would be 30s long without Tymna/Sakashima xD
i tried my best to make everyone play fair, but alas, it was not to be
Good game! Everyone was doing well, very close race
Blue screen of death caused by the blue player... fitting.
Amazing video 🙌🏼
Ooooo Tymna/Tymna, got some improvement ideas now for my deck. 😀
Regarding the Narset/Capsize interaction, it seems to me that the correct sequence is as follows:
1: Capsize targets Narset.
2: Orvar copies Narset, legend rule leaves the token in play while killing the original.
3: Capsize has no legal target and is countered, going to graveyard rather than returning to hand.
Am I missing something here, or were the players missing something? Given the Spellseeker I expect there were other winning lines available, but I do think it's at least worth noting.
Quite the show either way!
From what I understood, Whim of Volrath was what Baal used to copy Narset. Capsize was just used to bounce the opponents' boards back to their hands.
Either way, with infinite mana, he could always Capsize the original Narset, let the copy "die" to the legend rule and recast the original.
Yes, the way narrated in the video might have not been the best to explain how the ending line came about, and as DarkEinherjar mentioned, the Whim of Volrath saved the first Narset from dying to the Mine Collapse and after that Capsize on the original one would allow him to recast her and dig through the deck until finding the line mentioned :)
and the game crashe....love this game
Amazing Orvar
Why did Baal make infinite mana with isorev though? Didn't he have "infinite" islands?
he didn't need the infinite mana from the Dramatic Scepter, but he needed the infinite untaps for when he copied the scpeter and imprinted the winds of rebuke to the copy
What a game! Really could have gone anyway
Do you have to find and download each card image individually?
goooold
When Baal played Solve the Equation, why not searching Capsize, then win on the upkeep of Thiago bouncing all permanents instead of fetching c-rift?
Capsize was already in his graveyard, discarded by the Wheel.
Could some one break down the isochron septer + winds of rebuke wincon?
Winds of Rebuke makes everyone mill 2 cards and by using it on the copies that Orvar was generating allowed me to make it so everyone got their decks milled, and once I pass the turn, each player will lose once they try to draw a card from an empty library
@@BaalRoi so does that mean the copy of isochron comes in with winds of rebuke already imprinted? Thats the part I was confused about
@@moistqt oh, no, I have to imprint it from my hand.
Did Baal have enough cards in his deck? Winds of Rebuke targets each "player," meaning the caster as well
Everybody milled their libraries, Baal included. So then he passes the turn, the opponents draw for their turns and lose the game. Baal wins before he has to draw for his turn.
@@davidcalvao oh yea, duh. I forgot he didn’t draw until his next turn xD
I know I’m a year late but he could have also targeted his land with mind games to make infinite mystic sanctuary and get his instants and sorceries back on top in case something went awry.
nice
You can't vote zero on misfortune
You can, it's on the card :)
