One more thing. Mine came with a bad USB cable. The rubberized wrap around cable is nice but the QC isnt very good on them. If you have problems charging the battery pack, try a different cable.

I just got this. It says that it uses 18650 batteries. This is good, so when the batteries die, I can just open it up and replace them. I wish it was like the Goal Zero AA charger -- that the 18650 batteries were easily removable so that I could just use it as a battery charger for any device that uses 18650 batteries. I havent opened it up yet, but with 7800 mAh, it must be 6x18650 2S3P. These batts will cost about $40 by themselves. One nice thing, is that it says it can "charge through" so you can have your device attached while it is charging -- so if you have the battery charging through one of the usb plugs, you can also be charging something through either the other USB port or the cell phone type connector. This device doesnt charge fast -- I hooked it up to my MS Surface 3 and it charged at about 1.6 Amps to begin with and then went down to .36 amps, but it worked. Normally, using my ac adapter for the Surface 3, it charges at about 2 Amps.
