It's good to hear from you again, glad things are going well. Without a doubt being able to work for yourself and set your own goals has been the biggest thing that's allowed me to transform my own life. This last year has been massive for me also and I'm making far more money than I ever had before. Funny thing with me is, I never really had any addiction to video games, I just really liked playing them. Now that I'm so busy with work I actually have the opposite problem: I've been struggling to find games that can hold my attention. If I get bored, I just stop. It happened with League, it happened after I put 500 hours into Warframe in 2 month in 2019 (great game by the way, consider checking it out). I've actually been on the hunt for a League replacement since 2017 - I want something that can draw my attention as much as that game did. But yeah, without a doubt transitioning away from working for somebody else has been the biggest thing that I did to improve my life all those years ago. If you're looking to try that for yourself, don't just quit your job and go all in, continue working but start looking into side hustles. Try to find some way to start earning extra money on the side. Eventually, after trying a bunch of things, you will find something that will continue to grow and make your more and more cash. At that point, once you are confident you can continue along that line of business, you can quit the job you hate and start working for yourself.
Glad to hear from you man, I used to play singed with your previous knowledge and it was fun for a while. I understand that you may not make more league content but whatever makes you happy, go for it. But you clearly found something else to enjoy so I wish you luck on future content!
I'm an old time enjoyer of your League content and I was definetily not expecting you to post at all but I get it, good luck in your new path in life. If I had one request of you it would be this; please don't delete your old content if possible, I sometimes go back to it to reminisce about old league! :)
A video about your past jobs would be awesome! I think your ability to grasp all the alienation as worker is actually worth something. Also congrats on becoming an adult I guess 😅
Any tips on how to meet people and what to practice when meeting people for the first time? I am medicated for anxiety but still struggle with finding opportunities to meet new people. Meetup in my area is filled with a lot of BS, should I just start my own?
