This, once beautiful, stately, old mansion has once again broken my heart ♥️!!! The decay of this property is heartbreaking 😞😰😢 It always makes me sooo very sad to see that no family members have gone in to save the priceless, one of a kind treasures, that these properties hold!!! The old books that could have been donated to a library or a museum, the gorgeous antique wooden furniture that could have been sold or donated to a museum & the family photos that can never be duplicated & will be lost forever 😞😰😢 I even saw sooo many metal receptacles that could have been saved!!! It reminds me that we can collect meaningful memories for ourselves, but our family or friends don’t hold the same things dear😞😰😢 Thank you Leslie & Danny for risking your lives, to share, yet another wonderful adventure!!! I truly loved it 👍🙏💕
I love to see Leslie and Danny show these videos together they are so caring and compassionate of other people's stuff , Loved the video stay safe guys
Agree with everything you said..it’s surprising sometimes they come across objects that they find “disturbing” like the purse made from animal skins. Maybe they’re not aware of things that today we don’t agree with, but in the past was perfectly normal. Like a sealskin purse, the things they considered “food” even some of the words they would use to describe others is definitely shocking to us now (retarded, moron, idiot etc) Either way they’re both awesome especially how respectful they are)
What a great exploration guys! I have glass negatives of my dad from when he was like 5 yrs old. He was born in 1917. My grandfather used to dabble in photography back then beside doing the dairy farming. God Bless 🙏🙏🌺🌺🙏🙏
Such a sad place. Very interesting but time has finally taken over after over 30 years. As soon as the people have left the house knows and decays soon after. Once there was life, now there is none. Such sadness there. 😢
Lesley and Danny you are my favorite explorers of abandoned houses and castles. I like the way you presented them giving us some details on properties left behind especially those antiques items and old pictures of the family. Other explorers just show us in passing what they see.
I also think if the house is about ready to fall in through that. Some of the really important things should be brought out, especially those great The wood stoves, they are beautiful, Thank you guys for all you do
Greetings from Portland, Oregon USA!! I enjoy your videos because you are respectful and courteous to the spirits-passed. You are champions in trying to document history before it is all lost. Urah! to all of your team. - JFM [artist]
Hand-painted photographs are still being done as more of an art thing. Years ago before there was color photography it was a way to make photographs more lifelike. I have photographs that were done like that of my mother and father.
I agree with the other people and their comments. You both make it so interesting to watch all of your videos about all these abandoned houses. You bring them back to life. Thank you so much. Please be safe on your journeys!¡!! I look forward to seeing many more videos from you both 😊.
That was so awesome guys, loved it. The old photos, the antiques, even the decay sad but it’s what made this explore so intriguing for me. Thank you Leslie and Danni for all your hard work
I subscribed to your channel. I noticed the entry of your videos gives a back history, which we all appreciate. These are people's lives and deserve respect. Thank you.
This is an amazing place and what a story! Thanks for taking us along on these wonderful adventures. I do wish you wouldn't take such chances when the floor is so bad or even nonexistent! Thanks guys. You are the best!
Bravo' for another epic definitely a lot of decay explore! I do have to agree the cabinet in the dining room is very unusual I'd be proud to have one like it. it's something I've not seen before. I'm not a nail biter but you had me on the edge of my seat with this one. A good strong wind could indeed destroy what is left quickly. Thank you for another historical tour.
Lesley, you made a popular UA-cam out of something we despise and struggle all our lives to keep out of our houses and you love it. You actually do! 👀😅
✨Danny , I appreciate your taste in art and furniture. When you walked in , I could smell the old house from here 😅 WOW !!! Alot of Decay ! Amazing histories are left to the dust ! I love these stories, amazing places and Discoveries Too! ❤🌳🌲🐕🦺😊🕊️✨🇨🇦
It really started freaking me out when you were going up stairs, where there was no floor at the doorway. But I could give 10 thumbs up for the bedroom that you found up there, that is one of the most beautiful rooms of decay I have ever seen.absolutely beautiful, thank you for taking the risk you guys are my favorite creators of all! 100 thumbs up on this one. Stay safe.
Wow, I was concerned about your safety on this one. Even In the basement. Thanks for taking care. Many interesting things in the house. The only boy, it seems, was the one who took the Inheritance. Enjoyed the exploration and looking forward to the next one. ❤
The item that is seen sitting next to the piano at minute 32:55 that you thought was a sled is actually an item called a "Nun and Priest" bed warmer. I've seen these in several old house explorations. Look it up on the internet for complete explanation.
About films: after the late 1940s, films were made of celluloid. It's not paper, but something similar. Before that, there were nitrate-based films which were extremely flammable. Early movies were made on those and they were really dangerous. As an alternative to that, there were glass for photographs, which were safer and could also be made bigger. Professional photographers used them, sometimes pieces of glass much larger than you've found here. Photographs made on those are wonderfully detailed.
Hi Lesley & Danny,😊 Abandoned French Mansion of a Different Era!! I would tell the Grandchildren ...when You Find a Address..So they can Get Some Belongings Before It`s Too Late!! @9:39 that Cabinet was Very Beautiful & Loved the other Furniture, Bed Frames & 5 Beds & add 1 Bed in the Attic, 3 Clocks, 2 Piano`s, & All the Pictures, Glass Slides & Photos & Stoves!! All Should Be SAVED!! @ 23:24 Glass Slides in the Box, Lesley Should of Been Moved...Not Be Put Back Where Wall is Soon To Break!! @ 29:20 Faure French Stove...is a Antique Co DeVille Express called "Sirocco" 1910 to Early 1930..So Old No Images On Google!! @ 36:17 Mirus French Stove... is a Antique 1920 but can Still Buy it USA for $ 2,331.44 Now I Love Everything Lesley & Danny Showed & Talked About, & Love How Danny is Caring for You Les..Not to Get Hurt!!❤ You 2 Make a Great Team!!💖 Was Very Dangerous, Take Care Both of You!!💖 Have a Safe Trip to Your Next Journey!!💖 Both of You have a Wonderful Day & Evening!!❤ Love You Both, Barb from Central Illinois USA❣
If you look at some of the wallpaper falling off, you can spot the backing layer made out of newspaper, it's always interesting to check it, it gives an idea of when this wallpaper was applied. My sister's mother in law has bought an old house recently to renovate, and I could see 1929 newspaper still stuck on the bricks.
Hey Lesley, Again an exceptionally wonderful explore video, which I enjoyed rewatching! You and Danny are really a wonderful and very respectful Urbex duo. It is every time so amazing to watch how you, dear Lesley, bring new life to such an abandoned location. Besides heavy decay traces there were still some really remarkable items visible. Especially that very elaborately carved cabinet in the late 19th century historism style is really beautiful with the incredible details. Looking at some other pieces of furniture with awesome carvings I think, that the former owners of that French farm house were very cultivated and quite wealthy people. - Additionally it was so touching to see these old photographs, which are giving you a short idea of the life back in the days when this location was active and filled with life. - Lovely to see how caring Danny is, preventing you from getting involved in an accident. Great camerawork and beautiful background music. Respect to Danny and his skills! Stay safe, peace and kindest regards from Switzerland.
This was like a step back 100 years at least! You guys are brave traversing through the house! Hope you got out without getting rained on too much! Great video and exploration, guys!
It’s heartbreaking to know that soon that beautiful cabinet will be destroyed when the rest of the house falls in. They don’t make pieces like that anymore. The craftsmanship and quality is top notch. They use to take pride making furniture back in the old days when it was about Quality not quantity. Furniture made now or in the past fifty years does not even compare. And it’s a shame that so many fine pieces of antique furniture and those beautiful stoves are left to rot in abandoned homes. Until soon there won’t be any left 💔
This channel is so interesting and both of you are celebrities in your own right! Yea for UA-cam!! Such a fascinating concept and has more value then just exploring as i have realized with authentic exploration! This topic touches your heart, the realization of our short time on this earth. Everything we buy and admire is all material we can't hold it forever, so sad in it's way! Leslie and Danny you're a great duo and such old souls which is why you're both so great at such a truly sensitive subject and I appreciate your channel. Truly life changing it's like watching a dream and a flood of emotions
Honestly before I never thought much of abandoned places. I came across this channel by chance and thought you guys were in a beautiful old movie set. But it wasn’t a movie set you guy were in the real thing! You’re Soo lucky! Real castles with real old belongings! After that I’m fascinated by every video that you guys make! I love the way you guys get along, the way you are so detailed n thoughtful of respecting these homes and the belongings of the people from another era we can learn so much about. I love horses, ancient history n architecture and now abandoned locations too❤ Especially aristocratic ones. Thank you for introducing me to something I never knew I would enjoy so much! And both of you are hot papis too! Be safe always 😊 Big hugs n kisses from Nyc ❤
This was another interesting house. I've only been inside an big old abandoned house one time in my life as a girl and boy did it smell bad. I always think about that when I watch your videos. I sure love the serene music you play just in the background. Lovely but not distracting. 😊
This house was gorgeous in its day. Love all the storage and secret rooms. What I don’t understand is why do family members leave these memorable treasures behind? It is heartbreaking 💔
you and Danny ,,,very brave in this one.....i was nervous for both of you..............................im very far ...in indiana usa....good night......
I think you guys do a great job. But I think I can't help but say that I think you should gather these pictures and put them all together and try to get them to the family or to a museum. There's also so many things that I think that should be saved out of there. Either sold to help the family or given to a museum. Or just some people that could use it, it's really a shame to see so many things go to ways that could be helping others as well
Hello from Fort Worth, Texas. Very cool place. I'm thinking you guys should be wearing PPE or masks in a place with all that mold and and possibly asbestos. Be careful in those places! Thanks for sharing.
The picture of the girl in the bedroom is a black and white photo. Before colour prints they used to colour them by hand. I have some of my grandmother and my parents wedding.
Very interesting, guys. Amazing and magical. I would like to know if anyone saves all these things later? It would be a shame if they disappeared forever

Yes, those glass slides were like stepping back in time. I wish we could see all of them.
Sad that the person just walked away from a place like this. So many lovely antique furniture pieces.
