Southern Illinois farm-June 2023; Join me in the cab of our 2023 KIOTI NS6010 hst cab hydro tractor and my 6' bush hog BH26 rotary cutter as I take on the steepest part of our deep pond dam. I've always felt it a bit sketchy to bush hog a steep pond dam horizontally, as you can run the risk of rolling over your tractor or skid steer if you turn just the wrong way on a steep incline. So today I'll tackle our overgrown pond dam with the Kioti NS 6010 and I will bush hog the pond dam vertically, or up and down the pond dam. This method is much safer that risking a roll over tractor accident as it greatly reduces the risk of rolling your tractor down the steep pond dam. @@kapperoutdoors I was thinking the same thing. I looked at Calendar and I not been able to mow since May 20th. Maybe Ventrac has cab with AC and nice cup holder now. Joe fixed that mower of his fast. Be perfect for your place. Hope Sharon is doing well.

Wow some pucker moments watching. On Tv. Pond looks awesome. Not had to mow here Kapper for 4 weeks, no rain. Go figure weeds are growing in other gravel drive I did not spray.

7:50 I may be wrong, but that looks like a persimmon. Our farm is loaded with those, hence the name we gave it, “Persimmons Ridge” 😉

Hmm, don't recall the time but we had loads of them here too. Nice bonus food plots in the woods! Yeah, I don't like the thought of rolling the tractor down the pond dam either!!
Hey Kapper, are you liking the hydro on the NS more than the shuttle shift on the RX?
oh heck yes the hydro is much better to operate! Less power, but way easier!

Owning the Kioti NX for over a year now have you encountered issues with that tractor???? I'm considering a purchase of the NX but see very few long term reviews. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.
I have the NS and not the NX. No issues with it. The new NS replaced the NX electric over hydraulic transmission. I really like the new NS transmission. Best of luck

yeah for sure. But it is a good problem to have, much better than deep city life with crime running rampant.. Have a good one
