I really love Oliver. He's clearly the biggest magnet on the series. Not to say other actors have less skills or charisma (we have Oscar Nominee Angela Basset in the house!), but his character is the most interesting one and he plays it really really well. Buck as a character has a lot of screen time, and has a good balance between humour and seriousness. None of other characters has that balance. Not to mention Oliver is hands down very attractive! But look how he elevated (the clearly more nervous) Lou in this interview, by emphasizing Lou's physical advantage over his. Oliver is not only a great actor, but also a humble and kind human being. And I love him for that😍🥰♥️.

You have a good taste. Oliver is a great actor. It has been 7 seasons of 9-1-1, and I haven't found any glitches in his acting yet. Even when eagle-eyed fans were pointing out that his accent turned British in several scenes (which is a very rare occassion), I had to really really listen to catch it. Ryan is a triple threats: he's good in martial art (used to be an MMA fighter), in dancing (have you seen *Step Up: Revolution* and *Step Up: All In* movies?), and in acting (in *9-1-1* and *The Boy Next Door* ). I don't know any other actors who master all three skills like Ryan Guzman.

I think it’s also case of bad and lazy journalism. In a joint interview (their first) to only mention or ask a joint question once?! Then to ask a question about Lou‘s father, which is basically a mood killer as just minimal research would show that the relationship is complicated. That’s just not it. Then to ask the most cliche question ever also does not speak for the interviewers. I ranted off questions to my best friend, that they could have asked, in an 11 minute voice message. I think there’s definitely a seed of chemistry as seen when it talks about Lou‘s bodybuilding and Oliver touches his arm, as well as the leaning towards each other when they laugh. I believe if they get to know each other more off-screen and do more interviews together (with good questions for a change) then we will see more chemistry. Even if they don’t form a close bond in real life, I have faith in both their acting abilities that we will be getting more chemistry on-screen, provided they get more (domestic/dating) scenes together of course

Some people have crazy chemistry from the beginning, others need to build it. They both seem super genuine about it, and Lou seems like a thoughtful individual who cares about the story and character.

I hope Tommy breaks up with Buck, due to wanting a casual relationship and being scared off by Buck and Eddie's relationship.
Then the writers ✍ lean into it and make Tommy the audience insert character who comments everything the audience is known to say, in a light fourth wall breaking thing.
It would be so much fun and make Tommy look like a badass 😎 for being so socially intelligent.
I also hope if Buck and/or Eddie ever get married, he is a best man. He'd seem perfect for it.

They have established that Buck and Eddie don't get jealous of them sleeping with other people, but get super jealous when their number 1 companion position is threatened.
They both seem aegoromantic. Especially Eddie, who never seems to like his partners as people or as companions 🤝.
The show should just have them be a cute aromantic life partnership. Then it can continue to depict their love ❤ as a friendship, while also making Buddie cannon.
Even if they don't do that, Eddie should at the least come to terms with his aegoromantic-ness and come out and live openly about it.
Or you can just make your own fanfiction....because the writers will do whatever they like.

Using them as just a stepping stone for delusional Buddie would feel fake and forced because it's pandering to their toxic fans.
Evan and Tommy have amazing romantic chemistry and sexual tension unlike the other delusional ship.
Even without Buddie, I would like it if Buck and especially Eddie came out as aegoromantic.
It suits how they have been portrayed. And having them openly be that way would make for interesting storylines.
Plus, explicit aromantic spectrum people get little representation.
