In my head, this is the order of characters knowing these bitches gay: Bobby, because of course -> Maddie, shipper #1 -> Carla, because she's an actual angel -> Hen and Chimney joked about it once and put it aside but then it became way too obvious to ignore. And then everyone else *except* Buck and Eddie.
And then Buck doesn't know til the end of S5 (when he's talking to Maddie about his idea of love, that it's when you're both at your worst and you still try again, and there's only one person that applies to in his life) And Eddie doesn't know til Buck dies. ("Things like that, they change US" not you, us.)

Honestly the part where Eddie tells Buck his parents are there, and then when his parents talk about how they were telling them about him. I would’ve loved to see Eddie interacting with his parents
I also think she helped out a bit in the first episode of season 3 when Buck lost his job and Eddie brought Christopher to Buck. When Christopher answered where Carla was, Eddie's answer was: Mm-hmm. A bit suspicious and I think that Carla knows both of them enough to do this.
They are literally co-parenting a kid together. I’m not saying they are definitely gonna be an item, but the writers are messing with the community here. There was even that elf they included to make fun of all the buddie shipping going on. So the writers are aware and they still decide to include scenes like the one in which Buck claims he’s at home at Eddie’s house (to Maddie) or that strangely sexual kitchen talk in which Buck claims Eddie might have been beating up someone else when he really wanted to beat up him. I’m not saying they should have excluded a close friendship between men and I agree that platonic bonds like this are shown to little, but at this point the queer baiting has to be deliberate.
