Shane is a true inspiration to all pool players. His shots show that anything is possible with hard work and dedication.
😅
Yes, except in Mosconi cup
I would agree with you. However, there is a price to pay for that kind of dedication as I don't think Shane is married or has any children as well as other aspects of life. Pool is his wife. Nevertheless he is a badass player. Very impressive.
I'd say that being married and having kids is a curse that he's avoided. I respect him a lot for that. Most people make that mistake and spend the rest of their lives pretending to be happy. @@lencac7952

these full game vids are just soo chill to watch. Take a cup of coffee or hot chocolate go to the sofa get comfy its so relaxing😴
Then you wake up and realise your phone is dead but do it again anyway.
I find them so dramatic and exciting. No way I can relax lol it's so fun to see how other people see things and react to things compared to yourself. It was interesting and fun to read your comment! I like good comments
@@lokekennee8850 it's good sleep therapy ☺️
sounds pretty gay
You would know.
I love watching these two play. Seeing them make unforced errors just proves that they are human. I have done things like that when I play. Now I don't feel as bad when I miss a shot that I normally make. :) Great match.
You miss shots? No weigh!
@@pincessdogg5222 You spell way wrong. No way

@@pincessdogg5222 god this community is toxic
@@owenmeier I no, they are weight two judge mental.
can't believe this event is only 3 years ago, the production quality has improved SO much over this
Not only is this one of my favorite matches to watch, the COMMENTARY was ON POINT! I love hearing how other pros watch and break down matches. And the insight from the fun stories of just what it’s like being on tour. Sounds so much fun!
Thank you matchroom for this certified hood classic
Filler: "Extension"
Proceeds to pot the next shot in 5 seconds LMAO
I don't care how many times I watch this match. It's always a nail biter. One of my favorites of all time
I use to be really good at this game and it always amazes me how these guys can run 5-10 racks in a row. The level of control and concentration is off the charts. I only ever ran 2 racks and never did that again. SVB is my favorite player other than Efren Reyes. Two world class acts man
ج
What about Earl the Pearl?
Same here I play 6 hours a day and I still can't even barely clear the table. It's insane what this game requires with experience and skill and concentration
I’ve known a player who was the master at safteys lol
The shit selection also amazes me sometimes, I'm an average player but these guys see shots I never dream of
The 1-3 carom in the last game was a surprise. It was a game winner for Shane. Must have non mis able or he would not have taken it. But it opened the whole rack up if made.
I have been watching SVB play for years, and I swear this is the first time I have seen him win the lag.
Watched him win it just a couple days ago
I agree.
his now the wpc champion 2022
then you have not "really" been watching him play for years - he wins it all the time
@@JamesJoyce12 I may not be watching the right matches, and to be fair my memory is crap, but this was the first lag that I remember seeing him win.
This match was very interesting to watch. Shane didn't seem to be playing his best on this day, but his misses did not hurt him critically. He managed to stay close even though Filler was playing very well at the beginning, and then he closed out the match efficiently. It must be difficult to stay composed and calm and work at your own pace when your opponent is shooting so fast and accurately. 👍
El gesto de Filler de saludar a Shane en el último round justo antes del break, fue, sencillamente, genial.
Shane is such an Awesome Billiards player!🎱
From this match I can understand why players like Efren Reyes & Immonen are so special. Their control on cue ball are flawless 🤯
Take mika out of this sentence please
@@trueamerican2305 Mika has crazy control on the cue ball, he’s a legend and a all time great, hes in the conversation with efren 💀
Also Francisco Django Bustamante.
This is the most competitive 9 ball competition I've seen yet, brilliant!
Shane's in his van, boning.
Hahaha u so funny..
That was a low key terrible pun
@@nicholasdowney9391high key
Shane is probably the nicest guy around
Wow I'm not gonna lie I've never seen either of them miss some of the shots I seen them miss in this event
I think the pockets on the table were really tight.
They sure do draw a lot.
I don't watch a lot, but I have rarely seen SVB beat Mr. Filler
Shane van boeining is the number 2 ranked player in the world filler doesn't have a chance
@@justinfrancis4155after this game the record was Filler was 10 - 2 Shane. So...
SVB had a big boner for this one. At 35:44 Shane really has a talking to himself.
a dry break and a safety battle in a hill-hill game 😃👍
No one can say filler isn’t a top 10 in the world player. He has many years to show his skills
Who the hell says that, the kid won the WPA 9 Ball in 2018. 😂
Ever noticed that Filler is World 9 Ball champion, US Open 9 Ball champion ,World Pool Masters champion and UK Open champion? The pool world is all about Filler at the moment lol..
Filler is number one!
@@MaachoMaan not what the official WPA rankings says, Shane is still #1, followed by Mika and Albin. In fact, he’s not even the best German 🤧🤣 that would be Thorsten at #13, you’re golden boy is all the way down at #20
@@abba-Flammenfresser - I think the FargoRate is a much better ranking system, and it too is a recognized criteria….
1:16:29 Shane is thinking "I'm finally gonna beat this guy"
Filler to brea....extension!
The live sound is great.
I like how 4-5 seconds into the shot Filler is calling his extension… 10 seconds later he’s down on the ball shooting. Like it’s a good thing you didn’t come back to the table, you may have needed it lol
There’s something about Filler that throws SVB off. You never see SVB miss as many shots as he did in the 3rd frame. That’s why Filler has such a ridiculous W/L against SVB
He has that effect on a lot of pros. The only player who seems unfazed by him thus far is Gorst. It probably helps that Gorst is younger than him and was a world champ at 19!
Short races filler has been getting the best of svb….. but race to 25 or more Shane has everyone’s number
He has that arrogance that makes me wanna kick his ass! I'll admit right now, I'd be tripping over myself trying to get to him on the table, only to lose all my money. He's a real life "Vince Lauria"
@@MaachoMaan He probably has the most punchable face in the game. When he's with the European lads in the Mosconi cup he plays the part of the supervillain very well. I have the utmost respect for his skills, but completely agree he has a very arrogant/irritating energy. Lost to a guy like this a few days ago, then whooped his tail in 3 straight matches after.
Because he has a face that you just want to punch... thats the secret
Joshua Filler was named MPF by all of the players and referees on the pro tour. "Most Punchable Face." 👊
Exactly right! Love to see him lose. He has that attitude that makes you just want to whack him upside the head. lol
Agree
this made me remember the time where he jumped onto shane's chair lol
Absolutely I can’t stand he’s antics little child
@@aloysiusvo318 I haven’t seen this, what match was this
I don't think Filler was being disrespectful.
He's young, aha lacks tact maybe, but I think he's a decent fellow.
This was a sloppy game from both of them, and they both play so much better than this match showed.
Great players, nonetheless
agree, i think Joshua just show his excitement in Mosconi Cup.
I have never seen Joshua Filler more unfoxused than in this match...
shane is the best of the best!
...behind Joshua Filler.
TheEdge - longer race Shane takes it
@@explorerdadsocal8047 - I tend to agree with you. Shane is probably the best player I've ever seen....though I feel he's peaked, and perhaps is losing a bit of his hunger. I'd love to see him and Filler race to 100. If they play Ten-Ball, Shane wins by ten games. Nine-Ball, man, it's pretty tight....
Joshua is so much better statistically, he will be so great and dominate a lot in the future. Europe! Europe! Europe!
Gareth Stevens - Joshua's stats are MARGINALLY better than Shane's....
Lies... svb is far more better statistically and has many more years to get even better... USA USA USA!! 🇺🇸
Wow, 44.5k views in 21 hours! pool is becoming popular again... think bc of Matchroom's ability to promote. I'm curious why they're not using their own Matchroom Pool World rankings for the World Pool Masters. Some notable snubs based off their own rankings. Mario He (#8), Darren Appleton (#9), Wiktor Zielesnki (#13), etc.
Go Shane! Good job despite unforced errors on both sides
Joshua Filler's kick shots has always been his weakness on his game.
Come on Shane? Come on Ronny! 😄
A lot of people commentating about Joshua. Well, he was a lot worse a couple years ago. He's quite tame to compared to what he used to be like.
Can you give examples of how he was worse? Why do people hate him so much?
@@brandonmcalpin9228
Refer to "most punchable face" comment.
Van boening....... Cooll respec..... The best.
What an exciting match!
Legend are watching still didn't play the pool
Dos grandes jugadores
10 ball is more exciting to watch with alternate break!!!!
Man I hate to see Shane miss this much especially after making some very difficult shots and positions
After a very difficult shots and position, usually the player used their eyes muscle much more than usual, so the next aiming is going to be unbalance between 2 eyes, especially with shot clock, you have no time to rest your eyes and get it back. So even it's an easy shot it's going to be hard.
@@ColinSu Yes, it's a vision thing. Aim while standing, then try not to take your eyes off the object ball as you get down on the shot. And head position over the cue is critical. But Shane should have that dialed in by now.
4:34 the pwessure is still there
Van boening keren, fans from indonesia
Who ever thought Feijen could speak such well spoken English
i cant believe shane makes a lot of errors vs filler
Let’s go Shane
Nice game. Kids act vs adult act 🔥🔥🔥
Joshua rushed his shots and didn’t use his extensions properly
GG for Van Boening legend 💪💪
First time watching a pro match of pool and you guys in the comments know so much more than me
I wanna learn ahah
Any basic rules i should know?
This was very exciting and as a 13 years tennis player these guys have 20 times more precision than me
Very nice
Never play for money!
a match between one of my favorites and one of my least favorites. exciting match throughout
would be interesting to know who is who in this line-up
That was a great match, and I'm happy Shane won, but Matchroom is the king of dead air time. What genius thought we would enjoy watching their logo for minutes at a time. I try to avoid Matchroom.
12:15 "Get that camera off of me!!" :D
I'm going to start a "gameathlon" event where the players also bowl, shoot ski-ball, foosball, pinball, and like Centipede or somethin' lol .. Lunar Lander?
** Marble Madness.
Extension please
Kinda cool how the 1&2 ball happen to be the ones to go in the pocket nd it happens to be the SAME pocket lol
28:16 - not sure why Shane didn't shoot for the upper left pocket? Was it because he would not have position on the 2? Maybe fear of scratching in the top right pocket? Or the slight back-cut and the distance?
Top + left spin can easily stop the cue from scratching and then he can get a position with 2-5 combo in the right bottom. But safety was the less risky option. Btw he played the safety shot wrong as well, did not snooker properly! But Joshua is cocky af so he tried the pot by swerving or jumping (dont know what he was trying) and ended up with a foul anyway. Not impressed with either of their performance in this match :/
@@shahamahussain3276 there seemed to be a lot of errors from both in this match. I still remember Joshua pronouncing that he was the 'king' in the 2019 Mosconi Cup only to have Skyler Woodward hand him a huge defeat - I hope he has become more humble since then 😕
who called an extension when he had thirty seconds left?
Only idiots...
Who fucking cares stop hating on filler for no reason!!!
30 seconds isn't alot of time especially under pressure imagine if you were there. Not yelling or being rude in anyway brotha just saying. Everyone is different grasshopper
@@dennisdudgeon2907 it had nothing to do with pressure, joshua did it in purpose because shane took an extension on an easy 7 ball, so he did to and immediately shot the 7 in less than 5 seconds. It's part of the mental game.
@@reodo9838 are you sure?? Can we confirm this.
Give it to him one time for the south Dakota kid....
The way the floor is creaking, it sounds like they’re playing in someone’s attic.
I love how the floors creek
19:29 Filler missed the 1 ball because he forgot to call for extension 😂
there is something disturbing about Filler, great player but ..
Yes... like he's been bullied his whole life.. or maybe shane didn't sign his cue when he was a kid or something.. idk.. odd indeed
What happened from 6:30 onwards with those couple of shots? I thought the rules are a ball must hit the intended ball + rail? Aren't they playing the green 2 ball?
After a break with a pocketed ball, the player who broke the balls has a choice of making a shot on the next numbered ball or declaring a "push-out". If a push-out is declared, then the player may hit the cue ball anywhere on the table without incurring a foul, and their opponent has the option of taking the next shot after the push-out or "passing" on the push-out shot, and giving it back to the original player. The purpose of the push-out is to give the player that breaks an opportunity to improve the cue ball position slightly without incurring a foul. Strategy and position is critical so that the push-out is left where you can possibly make the next shot but your opponent will not want the difficult challenge.
super scrappy match, love to see it
I usually make these kind of shots…….accidentally and with some beers in me.
Nothing like watching USA beating Germany lol
Great match.
I love my new wool socks.
"Shooter Shane" Van Boening

I was good, and bad at nine ball, but what an addiction lol
Witerwawe Shane is the best
I really prefer the blue cloth. I'm not a fan of the gray trend. I do find the new aramith black balls easier to see on my phone when watching these clips on youtube
This might sound weird but I wanna see Shane like eat a cheese burger we only see him play pool never his normal life
He's from around our area and he's been to a handful of amateur events. I can tell you that he does eat. (and genuinely a good guy)
It wasn’t pretty but at least He got the win.
Bruh. You spoiled it
Great 🎉🎉🎉
Why all the matchroom pool banners and pauses throughout the game?
so how do the extensions work? do they get one per rack or are they unlimited?
One per rack
Was this from the Matchroom Pool Series?
There was a guy in Minneapolis named "OJ" who was a lefty and could beat the world as a teenager. If he had stuck with pool instead of starting a huge construction company, you'd all KNOW who I was talking about. Lol
What an amazing story bro
Now he day drinks.
Better money and consistent money in construction. you can practice 40 hrs a week and still not gauranteed to win a tournmament
Story sounds familiar i think i’ve heard it

Why the pool players use 2 sticks one for braeak and one for playing why??

What is Shane’s ear piece all about??

Which cues do they use?
Filler uses a predator se with a z3 shaft. Shane uses a cuetec svb model with an 11.8 mm cynergy shaft
