It's like those of my generation have known LaShun for such a long time. Hearing that she's passed really made a flood of memories come up. Her candor, her pain, her triumphs, her voice, her spirit will forever be remembered! I'm sad, but I'm also glad... sad that she's not here with us, but glad that she is with the Lord... and we will see her again!

I hate that such a needed spirit is no longer here to minister to us through song but, to be absent in the body is to be present with The Lord. This is a sad day for me. She is one of my favorite gospel singers. I'm praying for strength for her family, friends and fans. I was still trying to get over other family members that she lost. I'm glad I had a chance to take a picture with her in 2019 at her 58th birthday party because that was the last time I saw her in person.

My God, this is a sudden surprise...but she has earned her glorified wings. Her kindness and sweet ministering vocals shall truly be missed. Thank you Lord for this woman of praise.
