I remember visiting Rev. E Hogan church & watching them sing the roof top off the church. They are a singing family Mom, Pop & the anointed Pace Sisters. They deserve a documentary to be done on the family.

God has blessed his people so much to the point that they want to forget where they came from. I'm from the country,but I'll never be ashamed or forget where I came from, because it's my testimony. I have been in Ca. almost 40yrs. I don't have a problem praising God b/c he has kept me. Folks look at me like I'm crazy ,but I keep on praising because I know what he has done for me and my family. I had a God fearing saved mom and she taught us about God at an early age. She wasn't perfect, but she was a praying mom and I'm so glad she brought us up on God's word.
That opening from Mother Pace instantly transports me in time to the 1950’s. Her voice is so clean and young girlish though here she is a middle aged wife and mother. Crazy thing is I could never bring myself to listen to this until after Duranice and later LaShun’s passing. It’s because our people have so transformed for the worse that this singing takes me back to the early 80’s when the last of Black people were still holding onto the old paths. Now, Black ppl are unrecognizable, so steeped in death culture. Thank you Pace family singers.

There were nine, the baby Lydia wasn't old enough at the time of U-Know release. The other Pace Sisters are Duranice, Phyllis, June, Lashun, Melonda, Dejauii, Leslie and Latrice.
Now their mom passed a few months ago. The son singing passed some years ago. The one right next to him just passed a couple of weeks ago. Time is winding up. Thank you Pace family!!!! You saved so many souls
I have watched this video everyday for the last two weeks. Last night I got on social media to learn Mother Pace went to be with the lord. Praying for the Pace Family.
I always smile at the part where Dejuaii sang "Without" and everybody else was "oooh-ing" Judging by her reaction somebody must've gave her a look. 😂 4:20
now june , melonda , leslie . latrice and lydia carrying on the legacy i know auntie phyllis is still singing i know her body is tired but thank God for keeping her and i love her tenor voice . i love auntie deujia and her alto voice i wish we could see her more with the pace sisters, love lena and Aarion always

Duranice actually had the same range before she had half her vocal chords removed b/c of cancer. Weird to think about, that the voice that made her famous and that she's known for wasn't the voice she was born with. She wouldn’t have stood out it she stayed a soprano IMHO
@@klaw9977 actually after duranice lost her vocal chord to cancer her range got higher and the notes became more easier. She has more power here because her voice was heavier. She was still a soprano until her death she just was a loser set. Her voice sat to high to be a mezzo or contralto.
2019 and still watching, can't stop! What an amazing gift to be handed down from Mom and Pops to the "Whole" family, EVERY last one can sing and Auntie Duranice comes up with a song at the drop of a Dime and ANY WHERE! She does Holy Freestyle "WELL!" ❤❤❤🔥🔥🔥🙏🏾

I was doing some research on Plunkett Town, were my grandparents raised my father and my uncle and aunts before moving to Thomasville (Atlanta). One of my uncles raised his family in Poole Creek.
