Fact is - whilst having those 2 guys with us we were "safe", but they demanded aggresively lots of money at the end for "being our guides". Luckily we were 3 and they only 2 (with one of them halfway dead, soooo stoned) and my 2 girls were brilliant in arguing with them for the money. (too bad I haven't film the Scene). At the end we payed them 20 Euros (quite enough!) and we got away with them cursing and yelling to us.

Yes. Heavy luggage. I thought parking is near hotel, like they LIED on booking... I booked on the run, didn|t pay attention where the riad was, the last thing I wanted was to book inside of the medina!!! Very heavy luugage due to all the video equipment... but they don|t bother about the noise, like we europeans do !
It's a trap, you should ask your taxi to bring you in your hotel/private rent. Fes medina, without a guide is a very bad idea ... You can be easily lost and then robbed or scammed. Add 5 € to your taxi driver, he will bring you to your hotel by walking and you would have no stress.
Yes, it would be nice... but we always want to "explire" on our own... still, in the night, when we arrived the 2 boys joined us against our wills and google maps couldn't find our riad. So it was a unwanted necessity to have them around.
Yes but Fes, is not an european city, you can get lost even with Google Maps ... Treasures are hidden in this city. if you don't know a local or take a guide, you basically discovered 20 % of Fes ... It's the only city where i take a guide in Morocco, even if i'm a moroccan. It's the biggest medina in the world.
