It's funny how she claims so casually mentioned Dr Manhattan level of feats and is singlehandedly responsible for many great things.

Wow... That story about the Sload and the giant turtle was so long, my eyes started to glaze over. Then, when she finally mentioned the armor, I kinda shook my head and thought, "Oh, right, there was a question: He asked her about the armor. Twenty minutes ago."
I must say, whoever the VA for Aurlyn had done a really great job. The voice acting is impressive.
Aurlyn is a decent companion, while I don't really care for her Mary-Sue esque back story, I enjoyed having her along for a playthrough. But as good as she is, she's just one step away from being up there with the likes of Inigo, Lucien and Kaidan. If she had interaction with other companion mods, she would be right at the top for me.
Imagine the banter she would have with Inigo & Sofia 😂🤣 that is a team we need to see. The Dragonborn, Aurlyn, Inigo & Sofia.

The dumbest scene as I'm entering Solitude for the first time this playthrough.

Remiel: Just existing.
Mind you, this is happening in the middle of an execution.

'Altmer hero armor' or something like that you can also get in game around the official release anniversary
I wish she was interactive with other followers like Lucien, auri, inigo, serana and kaiden. I tried her back in the day but never got through an entire play through due to said mods being very interactive and entertaining to listen to during down time like camps.
She comments on some npc mods like interesting npcs and sofia but yeah still no interactions with them
she does comment on inigo, sofia and m'rissi but I tend to think of her as like the group "mother" might not interact but still happy to aid however she can
Aviendha has great interactions with npc’s and children. Especially around Whiterun
I've know about this mod for years but almost no one covers it. It's nice to see it get some love.
Late reply but that armor Aurlyn is wearing is the Elven Hero costume you can wear in ESO.
Sounds like a Mary Sue. I will stick to my non-lore breaking companions.

Ayy I was wondering when you'd give Aurlyn a shot. I designed a dungeon for this mod years ago but never found time to play through the completed project. Quality commentary as always man 🙌 Looking forward to finally seeing how this mod plays out.
Congrats to the modder she is a fascinating character. I hope we will see a part 2. I would love to see her fighting style.

Aurlyn the Philosopher? More like Aurlyn the Goddess of Light, being able to rewrite time, barriers of light, light force that can destroy poison and venom. She is no mere Altmer.
I suspect her power comes from the understanding of reality she possesses. It's been shown that beings that become aware of the godhead can become godlike beings.
@@FantomMisfit The godhead isn't real, it was stated by Kirkbride after he left the Bethesda team with Bethesda stating, "Kirkbride's current and future ideas are not the vision of our team."

Ppl say she's overpowered, I say, she has to be. Her race is nearly on the extinction side and dawn magic is the oldest school that ever existed in Tamriel. Making her a pacifist is a good call as well.
The story is kind of silly, but the voice acting almost makes it sound well written.

@@reggielacey2235 She in game loses most fights against frost trolls. While in lore the feats she is saying she does are not impossible, for her the feats are. This is why powerful characters in games tend to be the player character or narrative pieces or end game bosses that get weaken by ______, The character story doesnt match up to what she preforms, meaning the character is removing suspension of disbelief. I mean play the mod the character legit rewrites the world but cant beat any npc over level 30.

More or less, yes. You see, the start of the first era was exactly 4450 years ago before the events of Skyrim. As for the Merathic era, no one knows how long it lasted or when it began. Although some estimate it to be 2500 years (possibly longer). Sooooooo she could’ve been more than 6000 or 7000 years old for all we know. Or even older! Or again, maybe less than 5000 years but she’d have to be born during the last 500 years of that era… I find it unlikely for her to be born that late. But hey, whatever the case may be, she seems chill.
@@umayyah3475 thanks. Btw i really like these characters who have lived thousands of years like Galadriel in Lord of the rings. The facts that you get them as a follower is even better
@@BySpartan oh yeah, certainly! Those are just the best! As a protagonist of a game, the narrative is always centered around my character, that’s why when I find a character that is older, wiser, with tons of stories of their own, I cannot help but bask in awe and amazement. It is for this very reason that I find Dawnguard to be my favorite DLC for Skyrim. Since the story is less about the “Almighty Dragonborn of legend”, and more about another character with an interesting backstory, worldview and philosophy. While I’m afraid I haven’t played with this follower mod before, I find myself very excited to see her personal quest and what it has to offer.

A lot of effort for a follower that lacks much depth so far, very preachy and fake depth.
I lost interest when the Naravarine showed up. Such a big modding no no.
Love the voice acting, hate the Mary Sue backstory and lore breaking implications. 4/10
Kinda boring, honestly. I can tell that the writer inserted him/herself into the character. Too overpowered, too perfect. She needs some failure and something to motivate her other than “I like helping people.”
Oh god she is boring, lol. Pleasant voice, decent design, her backstory is ridiculous and she is WAY too long winded. All the feats she goes on about is just , so boring to listen to. She's far too monotone.
I want to like this follower/companion but she’s too overpowered for my liking.
I wish she had a different voice, as a Brit it breaks muh immurshun :)

However to answer I might try female haughty, though I suspect female dunmer may fit better, given the Velothi angle. I figure she needs to sound older, cultured and probably slower too. It does sound like the VA is going for cultured, but it also sounds like she's reading a script. At least to me
All Altmer have British accents.
