Welcome back! 😁 Now just where would urbex be without it's foremost UK ambassador 👍 That's a beautiful building, love the archways and the glassblock floors, it would make a great community centre or maybe even a night club. Looked like a pretty dark and scary explore to do solo, you're very brave indeed. Love the intro, you are very humble Tracy, that's a great quality hard found👍 really is great to see you back on it my friend, well done 👏👏👏😊
upalevel productions ah thanks Scott you're to kind , this would make a great house for me I think haha it's so much nicer in the flesh and no graffiti inside which is a bonus, yes the Lone Ranger is back , i couldn't explore the basement that's where all the rodents hang out, nothing ever comes good from down there. Thank you for your super kind comment you've been an amazing friend.
Tracy Explores ahh thanks Trace, your an awesome friend too 😍 your not living there without me 😂😂😂 could make a nice studio in there, interesting acoustics 👌 never give up Kemosabe, hi ho Silver away 🐎 😄
Nice to see you back filming again Tracy. The building is amazing especially that central lobby with the domed skylight my favourite part of the building too. Keep it up girl😆
Great upload, thanks for sharing. Utterly fascinating architecture regarding the high ceilings. Recording the past before change is to be saluted. I got great enjoyment taking pics of my old secondary school before 90% of it got flattened & replaced with a new build. Top stuff :)
I can't believe I just discovered your channel! What a terrific explore. It's heartbreaking to see such a beautiful old building decaying that way, doubly so since it is a library. Such a shame. Thank you for sharing.
So gorgeous! All that lovely woodwork, beautiful tile, archways... so sad it was all left. And it's astonishing all the decay a mere ten years can do. At least someone could salvage that gorgeous wood and tile? It's such a shame to leave it all there. And you are very brave going there by yourself as it is clearly dangerous, but you were very careful! Thank you for sharing this gem with us.
Really good to see you back Tracey. This place is amazing. it's like a cathedral to books....the detail stained glass and all. Thanks for exploring once more. Take care up there. Mark.
That's a good explore Tracy .. Some moments when it had a Sinister look and feel for me anyway ... I love this place ....I'm going to ghost hunt it one day ...it's grabbed my attention in a big way ...thumbs up !
Amazing place I can't even imagine how it must have looked with all those books in there. That's cool how the shelves had that little step on them lol. Good to see a new video Tracy I always enjoy seeing these awesome places you explore
Oh what a beautiful building! Another being lost to decay :-(( The rotunda, the green tile, stone/brick work, wood work/herringbone floors and plaster ornate work...Magnificent!!! They keep the plaster work in those plastic tubs so they could make molds of them later on to duplicate the plaster work throughout as the renovation progressed. A Great explore Tracy as always! Thank you for sharing :-))!
J Vatell I wondered why they were in tubs thanks for telling me, ye a beautiful rotting away breaks my heart I wish I could buy it , thanks for the comment really appreciate it
You can tell that place was absolutely gorgeous. It's such a shame the building was allowed to lapse into such a state of disrepair. I hope they do follow through and restore it. Also welcome back! I never clicked on a video so fast in my life. I've been binge watching urbexDane and exploring with Rick and Bekah to fill in the void, but it just wasn't the same.
Thanks for posting this, it brought back a lot of memories. I worked in this library in the early 70s. We had to alternate between here and Great Homer Street library at the bottom of the hill. Happy days
Hi, Tracy. Another great explore and video! That place must've been amazing in it's day. It's good to see another video from you and i'm sorry i haven't been around lately.
Hi Tracy, welcome back! I don't comment much, but I do watch all of your videos, and I adore your British accent. I'm a Yank living in Wisconsin, and I absolutely love ya! Keep doing your thing, and shake off the haters. Of course I gave this a thumbs up! Hugs
Todd E Walnuts thank you so much what a lovely comment, I hate my accent it's so squeaky haha, I'm travelling to the US in October hope to see some cool abandoned places there. Thank you for watching :)
Great explore Tracy, nice too see you are back, it is a very nice place with a lot of nice features but if they dont repair the leakages the place wil go bad soon with that wood still in there. If it is abandoned for 10 years it is very decayed already.
Hi i wish you all the best i really think you are ace stay safe at all times and hats off to you , i love seeing stuff like this i have bad asthma so cant do stuff like that so watching it really cheers me up x
Great job!!!! I discovered your channel reading through the comments of another explorer's channel and thought I would give your channel a try,you have a new subscriber. It looks like you have a lot of video's, so I have to get caught up watching them. Thanks for the adventure!!!
Your editing if fine, I'm a novice myself, so I never throw stones, So far my favorite part of your video's , other than the great content is your soothing voice and the fact that you answer your comments. I always answer comments on my channel too, I figure if people take the time to watch and comment , it's the least I can do. Thanks again for the adventures!!!!
What a fantastic find. This is why I watch urban exploration videos. This beautiful building is full of details that you will never find in modern buildings. I hope someone with deep pockets will take it on and restore it. If walls could talk what great stories they would tell. By the way you looked very pretty at the beginning of the video.
Great return video! What a great location. Love the view of the balconies from the ground floor. You would think that with some lottery money they could do something with it (sounds like they just went down the pub with it). Well done doing it solo as well 😁👍 hardcore!!!
Sub Exploration haha ye straight down the pub 😂😂 I love this place was a bit of a creepy feeling on my own was so dark and wet inside downstairs so I didn't film that bit, this is where your going Saturday after the tunnel 😃
We really need to invest in restoring some of these beautiful old buildings - the way Britain trashes its heritage is truly shameful. Finding money never seems to be a problem when it comes to wars and tax breaks for the wealthy, so why not for something we can all enjoy and benefit from? Great to see you back Tracy.
C Wilkinson couldn't of said it any better so sad to see our history being destroyed before our eyes, all the money they've had now it's left to rot, shocking. Cheers for watching and commenting much appreciated 😊
As an lover of history and a fan of reading, it breaks my heart to see such a beautiful old library left to rot. Its a shame to see it left abandoned instead of using it for something else. I love your videos. Keep on filming! :)
this place is amazing huge roof and whoohoo glad your back best youtuber in the world . now we still didnt film together hahaha time to come back haha or you come to hollanda :) and gopros are amazing expecially with a external rode mic . also like the glasblock things hahaha .
Wow...the architecture is amazing in this old place. Must have been absolutely beautiful in its prime. Would be neat to make into a private residence; to restore it and be made functional again.
I used to go to Lister Drive School in the 80's when it was next door to this library and used to love coming here. It's sad to see it in this condition. Our council wrecks everything and have left a lot of the beautiful buildings in Liverpool to rot. I can't wait to visit when it reopens.
Cecilia Houston such kind words I always used to worry I'd get left behind with my lack of editing skills, forever tripping up and being a woman what you see is what you get with me haha but I couldn't ask for nicer subscribers/friends means a lot thank you.
I remember going to this library with my junior school in the late 90s. The upstairs was out of commission even then because of health and safety issues. It was a beautiful building though I remember all the book shelves lining the down stairs and the desk being in between the two wings too. I'm not sure if it's still open but if you like this building you should visit lister drive fisheries (an old victorian baths converted into a pet shop) just down the road very similar style.
Hi Tracy. I know this is like a 5 year old video but I hope you don’t mind me leaving a comment anyway, but after watching this I just couldn’t not leave a comment! This is one of the nicest buildings I’ve ever seen and I can just imagine what it was like before it fell into dereliction. I’ve just read some further info on it (after reading your description) and I believe it is/was in the process of being restored and repurposed, which is excellent! I know this is a weird thing to say, but I love your accent! It’s like asmr 😂
Rik Cotterill ah fantastic it needs mending soon there's a lot of leaks in the roof, would be a shame to see such an old beautiful building rot away. Thanks for the update.
Thank you for taking the time to explain. It is even sadder to know big corporations buy these Grade 1 buildings and let them rot. What a waste of your history. It seems the government would force them to show how they will revise the building.
A little repair and this building would be very nice building. Good to see you back. 👍 But now I can't upload videos for weeks because this fucked up youtube removed 2 of my videos because they thought, that those videos were incitement to hatred so they blocked me to upload videos for 2 weeks and said that one violation more and they will delete my youtube account.

Tom Wilson oh ye I’ve heard of that place. The library is stunning I’ve also been to the one in Everton
Those glass floor tiles (9:33) would've been lighted from underneath. Can you imagine?
Adam J it's a very high ceiling from underneath so I'm not to sure.
At the 4:59-5:03 there is almost an evp sound.
Exploration Unknown hmmmm heard something
