Made me a bit emotional watching this. I raised money for Movember in 2021 (£706) and then again last year after losing a friend to suicide. I wanted to do it in his memory, and didn’t think I’d get anywhere near what I made last time. But I reached £1,000 and it meant the absolute world to me. I hope I made him proud ♥️
Hey mate, you've sure made your friend proud I may not know you nor your mate, but im sure he'd be proud of u for even raising £5 as you were doing the gods work. Big up man 👍
Hi Harvey! Greetings from Barcelona. My 10 year old daughter and I watch all your youtube videos and we always end up with a smile on our faces. Thank you very much for your videos!
Huge supporter of the DGR for many years (and Movember for that matter). That said, your video partly highlights why I choose not to do group rides regularly. I only ride with people I've known and trust for years otherwise all it takes is one irradict turn/swerve to crash my bike. Not to take away from your great video just saying there were at least 4 very close calls in this ride alone (that you caught on film).
I hadn't heard of this before, too bad I watched this today and missed the event, otherwise would have come out to watch. Will try to catch it next year.
Failed my first mod 1 on the 14th due to punting the cone on the hazard avoidance, wont make that mistake on the 29th cant wait to join and organised charity rides, mens mental health is a cause very close to my heart and would love to make a contribution ❤️
It’s a scam. TGR are not a charity and are not registered as such. They are a company. A company that makes charitable donations yes but a company who needs to operate profitably same as any other. I contacted them and asked them about how much they are got from people contributions and how much of that was given to charities. They declined to answer. Repeatedly. Do not raise money and send it to them.
Hi lol audit friend. They have raised over 50m for Movember. Whilst they have operating costs (like most charities). The money goes to November. I’m pretty sure the various companies wouldn’t be involved if they were being a nefarious as you’re making out. - links below. Always good to be skeptical with money involved though! @@HarveyRidesBikes that’s them saying they’ve given all this money. I’ve never seen any oversized cheques being handed over. And without doubt I’m sure they are giving some money to charity but what percentage of what they are being given? I’m lightly connected with some Stolen Valour charities who chase down fake military charities, they told me what fake chararities do if you challenge them is first they’ll publicly ridicule you then they’ll ban you from all their platforms. When I confronted TDGR they did exactly that. Why the secrecy? It’s like recycling plastic, people just like doing it. It doesn’t achieve their perceived conclusion.
Probably one of the most wholesome motorbiking experiences I've ever seen in London.
Damn! Awesome review... thanks so much!
We want hours long HarweyRidesBikes videos... yes WE.. a lot of us
All of us!!
