Most govt assistance programs don't allow cleaning supplies for purchase so any cleaning supplies is a blessing. Personal hygiene is always appreciated. Thank you for blessing others.
The food pantry in my area loves health and beauty products, cleaning supplies, and paper towels and toilet paper. I made a list early on of things I had and just asked them what they are usually in need of and work off that list. What a wonderful feeling each time I drive away knowing that somebody will not have to do without the necessities!
Anything that is shelf stable , pull tabs, candy, cake and frosting usually they give to a parent if the parent says its a kids bday ! Anything that would be on your grocery or Household shopping list , the people are just like you and I .
My sister works at a food bank in another state and has guided me on my donations. As others have posted, personal hygiene products are always needed. So are cleaning and paper products. As for food, think "real food and not "junk" food. There are guidelines for accepting food items beyond the expiration date (they can take canned goods for 6 months beyond the date). One thing they absolutely will not accept is energy drinks - if they are donated, they get tossed.
Laundry supplies air freshener cleaning supplies. Some even take clothing. Ooh and pet food. Good luck. And ty for doing these videos. They help so much
I donate to 2 dufferent food banks. One takes refrigerated, frozen, pantry staples, allllll things food. The ither doesn't take refrigerated or frozen, but takes housegold and personal care. Fun fact- both accept "gently" expired food.
I donate to a smaller food bank here and was told the things they go through fast is pasta tomato sauce rice the one thing they don't get a lot of is condiments like ketchup mayo mustard bbq sauce. Also coffee and dry creamers. Buy mac and cheese boxes or the cups( easier for people staying in motels) cheap and can find good deals. And dog and cat food. People don't think about that but some food banks do donate that as well.
I donate whatever I end up getting from couponing that my extended family wont use. I also put nearly expired in the Community Boxes as people have the chance to be a little more picky about what they pickup.
You can also do the purina treat rewards spend $25 in one trip get a $10 virtual visa with all those Friskies items. Such a great deal! Our local community center actually takes pet donations too, so that’s what we did. On another channel, I watch she said to donate things that didn’t require any extra ingredients so like Velveeta shells & cheese versus Kraft macaroni and cheese. Also they probably take hygiene and oral products too.
Personal care items like body wash, soap, deodorant. adult diapers and cereal are what my pantry needs. Lots of people donate canned food but personal care is a bit pricey so most folks don't donate those. Also your local animal shelter is always in need of not only pet food and treats but blankets, towels, laundry detergent, dish soap and toys. They also need office supplies - just took a big box of pens, post-its, address labels and copy paper down to mine.
@@tessatessa9710 Thanks for the suggestions! I donate every Christmas to the animal shelter! I already printed out the “wishlist” for this year so I can look for deals on those items.
I put my expired items on my next door app listing the expiration date. They’re pending pickup within an hour of posting. Also any condiments, sauces, seasonings, spices and mix ins 😊are great donation items.
I give toothpaste, toothbrushes, cereal, coffee, feminine products, condoms, pregnancy tests, medicine, all those things we get free but don’t need ourselves.
Canned Milk!!!! Aka evaporated milk ! Some people have no way to store refrigproducts! So canned milk for cereal and recipes that need milk are so helpful for them. ALSO can openers, church keys. Canned meat.
As someone recommended - many pantries take dog and cat food. Our neighboring rescue is taking in as many dogs as 60 a week due to the economy and people not being able to afford pet food. It's so sad as they are overrun and it's not a no kill shelter.
I also donate from time to time!! That's what we awesome couponers do!!❤❤🎉😊 Tyfs the last day on Shopium- keep un-installing & re-install it!!??😮😅 Awesome haul ! Hopefully can find the saerkraut!! Love it! I got wke warrior-$3/6 ans and after today: only need 13 more to finish my big bonus! Btw both persil& all pqs are nox!!
@@lgibson0515 awesome! You got an easy weekend warrior! How do you know they don’t expire? The old ones don’t have a date, so I figured but the new ones do
@3rdShiftCouponer cuz I've been a couponer for 30+ years; extreme one last 14 since got sick , lost my job and had to go on ssi!! Watching yt videos last 6-7+ years, learnnig all these things!! Used to be app(qseer) that you could use to scan the pq- it would tell you. Also been using them and scan just fine!!
They will take anything. Canned goods, pasta, soap, feminine supplies. Toothpaste deodorant. You will have to see if they have a freezer. But want it all bless ur heart.
I love your videos and break downs. I don't understand how to figure what items to purchase for IBOTTA bonus. Do you have a video explaining it? Thank you. I use to donate to my local food bank, church pantry, and homeless shelters.
@@Mary-vm7eb I don’t have a video. But any general bonus: weekend warrior, midweek, or like the thanksgiving one, any rebate done tracks for that. Also let’s say you do that same rebate two times because the limit on the rebate is 5, it will count twice for the bonus. When specific items have a bonus, you will have to read the requirements for that one. Sometimes they are purchase that item X amount of times. Sometimes it’s purchased this and a few other items, ect. I hope this made sense!
Double check all food as the Drizzle and Fizzle at my store expired 12/245/2024 - so if you wouldn't go through it quickly - you'll end up throwing it away.
Do you have any blessing box in your area? I been adding the rock stars in mine. I don't drink them but they are a mm so i get them. Dog and cat food or treats, toothpaste toothbrushes, canned food, candy, Etc.

Thanks for sharing. You may want to check the Senior Citizens Center & some churches are able to accept all different types of items for communities.

Canned goods including soup, tuna, canned vegetables or fruit, cereal, pasta, candy, dried beans, Mac & cheese, rice, Stove Top, Star, peanut butter, toothpaste, toothbrush, lotion. Generally, anything boxed, bagged, or packaged. And nothing in glass.
