It's the kind of touch that makes it feel like it is an average Joe Bloggs like myself making it, when in fact to successfully pull that off requires some not inconsiderable professional skills. Surprising you haven't had more views, and nice to see another Brompton rider making a journal of a typical but endearing micro-bikepacking trip. Thanks for that!
Comparing a Brompton to a VW campervan isn't a good comparison. The Brompton is much higher quality and way more reliable than a VW camper will ever be. I've got a Brompton and in my view they have a cult following because they are fantastic at what they do. Just this week I met a lady from Singapore who'd cycled all round Scotland on one and was now headed to Manchester to fly to France with it.
