Alex, really glad to see you and Karla utilizing the foil drive. Were you riding the GoFoil 6'2" or 5'3" board?Getting up had to be super easy. What were the complete dimensions of each board?
Aloha to you and your family, Don from Texas.

Hi Don, I am riding the 5’3” Go Foil Board with a cavity to hide the battery and plate housing up inside the board so there is much less drag when touching down or taking off. The board is 23.5” wide and about 4.5” thick. It probably is about 60-65 Liters and I have Winged it also with my regular 90 Cm Mast without the Foil Drive unit. The board is a Full sandwiched board (strong) made of fiberglass so the connectivity to the Foil Drive unit is awesome. On my Carbon boards you have to put foam in the tracks, not with this one. One of the best features is that I can slide my Foil Drive unit in from the back with the T Nuts attached already. This makes it easy to put the unit in the board! I am also riding the battery in the back which seems to help keep the board up when you get off the gas without a lot of weight shifting. Get a longer cable though if you want to do this. The 15 cm cable is not long enough so get at least a 25 CM cable to the Foil Drive. I am using a 60 Cm Cable at the moment so I have lots of options
