All through the trilogy, the scenes inside the matrix have a green tint to them, but it's an unnatural shade like an old green-screen monitor. In that final scene here with the Oracle after the end of the war, there are the natural greens of grass and plants. It symbolises peace between the two worlds.

So, they're only kept for defending Zion, the last city for humans. Changing or upgrading the designs would probably be slow or difficult considering that it's not like they're in the best set of circumstances to overhaul and redesign all of their war assets considering their first priority is sustaining the food and water supply for the mass of non-combatant civilians.

As well as Kid's Story. The rest of the shorts are well worth watching but I'd say those three are especially good if you're interested in backstory of the films.

Even the ones who do view the movie stop after the first because "I heard the rest are bad!". So many people couldn't get into the deeper end of what went on as the movies went. Also the Matrix game may not have been loved, but it expanded the lore and you played as Niobe or Ghost. With Niobe being amazing honestly.
So glad you really enjoyed all 3 films. This is my favorite trilogy and I love each one. Never understood the dislike so many have for the sequels. I absolutely can't wait for Resurrections!

I suggest you watch the animated series called "Animatrix", it contains several stories, including the narration of the war against the machines, I think you'll like it. They explains a lot about the Matrix on general and the third movie in particular.

18:00 Well you would be right about that. Armor would be good. But remember, this is the last city of the survivors of humanity. Sure, they have the resources to sustain it. But the issue you have to remember is, there is potentially a shortage of resources. The Machines have taken over the entire planet and Zion is the last city for humans to live free. They don't have a military strong enough to take Earth back anymore. Especially since the fleet of ships they had in Reloaded was probably a few dozen. When you live in the apocalypse, you have to make do with what you have. And the APUs are definitely what they have for a final stand for the protection of Zion.
To understand why the machines made The Oracle program, it might help to understand how adversarial machine learning works, but to put it simply: Say you want to build the best chess playing computer. You can TRY to program in the best move for every possible board position, but 1. There are something close to 10 billion possible board configurations and 2. We don't entirely know the best move. So instead what you do is you build a computer that can play and build a second one to play against it. As they battle it out trying fairly stupid and random moves, you keep replacing the poorer performing one with the better performing one's "ideas" Anyway, it's way more involved than that but you get the idea. The Oracle pushes people to break out of the Matrix while The Architect tries to build better Matrices that people don't wake up from. Every cycle, The Matrix gets a little better and can survive a little longer before Zion gets problematically big and they need to put it down and restart the cycle
Very well put. The fact that they are opposites (the Oracle being a program designed to intuitively deal with massive amounts of data and the Architect being an optimizer. They mentioned that the Oracle was designed to understand how very non linear and chaotic creatures such as humans thought and behaved. The Architect could do really well with hard engineering problems, like wiping the humans out, getting them to survived inside a simulation required more finesse.)
Last, but not least, I love how the Architect is perfectly ethical in the most rational way possible, he makes sure we know they don't really need the Matrix, it is there only because it is the "best available right thing" to do.

From what we can tell neo was reintegrated comfortably into the matrix and produced a movie called The matrix. Something however seems to have transpired and that's where the matrix 4 will soon be picking up.
Here ya go kiddo, seeing as you appreciated the movies so much. Matrix trilogy interpretation: Was Sati really "The One" after all? Sort of..... All the characters in The Matrix trilogy represent either key archetypes or smaller aspects of an individual psyche, major ones being; Neo the ego, Smith the shadow, Trinity love, Morpheus the mystic, The Merovingian a cynic/sophist, The Architect a rational intellect, The Oracle an empathic heart, Mifune the warrior etc., with the psyche itself possibly represented by the Nebuchadnezzar hovercraft. Their power and influence, in essence if not reality, have to die to liberate Sati the child/spirit. Neo's battle with the machines is the ego's psychological war with the despotic nature of social institutions and authority personified by the agents who defend those institutions and power, i.e. the individual separate egos of others. Neo's victory over Smith at the end of the first movie is NOT enlightenment, that doesn't occur until the end of Revolutions and the liberation of Sati, it is merely Neo becoming "woke" in the parlance of our time, he remains still trapped in The Matrix. This is attested to by Neo being asleep at the beginning of all three movies, and, his seeing everyone in The Matrix ultimately being taken over by the devil incarnate represented by Smith, who Neo is compelled to do battle with. Neo chooses to continue fighting, but physical and psychological exhaustion make the end inevitable, thus resolving the paradox of Neo having both freewill but also a fated destiny. Neo's final self sacrifice as The Saviour of Mankind, ultimately defeats Smith, by his recognizing the same egoic motivations in himself i.e. Neo becomes just another Smith, and hence, humanity is finally Redeemed or forgiven, thus fulfilling the prophecy of The One and an end to "the war in heaven", or discontent of the mind, as the Matrix is reset.

I had to watch Matrix like 5 times to fully understand everything. It has so many plots and meanings that is hard to catch everything in one watch. This trilogy is one of the best movies of all i have seen.

The Matrix Revolutions was such a outstanding and incredible finale on so many levels as it was just constructed perfectly from the very beginning to the end. The story, performance's, music, action sequences, special effects, images, direction, and cinematography was spectacular and phenomenal. It was decent. It was such a epic, perfect, and satisfying conclusion to end the trilogy. To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old. 😍😎💯👍

Even I watched 4th part, without it I think that the Oracle is mother of both in Matrix, since she exists only in Matrix. She's like a neutron and they are a proton and an electron. When they joined they ceased to exist and came back to neutron - her. That's why she left alive after their fight and they both died. Since agent Smith has no body he died, and Neo's body cannot live without a mind, so his body has problems, what you can see in 4th part of the movie. I think they'll make another part...

I can't be the first person to realize this, but I personally have not seen it stated. Neo is both an anagram for One, as well as meaning New. Neo is not just the One, he is the New One.
Lots of people seem to think that if Neo had taken the other door he could have saved Zion. That was nor one of the choices. The other door would have allowed him to refound Zion after the machines destroyed the old one.
You’ll find out what happened to Neo this Christmas when Matrix Resurrections comes out. The Architect told Neo they’ve done this a million times , Zions been destroyed a thousand times snd visa versa and it starts all over. If you think of the Real world , there’s 10,000 humans in a underground housing center ,…the rest of the entire planet is the Machines a world built by autonomous robots always fixing and upgrading planet wide. There’s no way that those thst are out could defeat the machines becasue the only way would be to literally blow the planet up becasue if even the smallest machine survives that has the AI that’s been building all this, it starts over. That’s why the architect told the Oracle “how long do you actually think this peace can last??” Her response of as long as it can shows she knows the end that always comes win or loose is the Matrix starting over. When she said what about the others, it showed they have had some sort of agreement, he will let out those that will start the next begginings of Zion , rejack in everyone else and start again. Neo is taken like on a lowered crucifix symbolic of Christ giving his life for mankind, which explains how Neo had abilities in the real world and the only one. He’s some sort of higher being , a Christ of sorts that can balance everything ack out fir mankind: where it parallels Christ , he is resurected (hence Matrix 4s sub title “Resurection”. They can’t keep it going forever , I hope Resurection is what it indicates as the final showdown , it runs its simulation, flashes everyone’s memories but this time it’s different becasue Neo had discovered power in the real world which has to mean he is the One, even much more than he imagined. I’m thinking he finds a way to defeat the machines. Be a good end to it instead of knowing it jsut starts over and over but ultimately 99.9999% of the population always stays in the machines pods. You should also definitely watch The Animatrix, which is several short stories in different anime styles by different directors related to the Matrix universe, and there's a two part story which tells the origin of how the machines took over.
As well as Kid's Story. The rest of the shorts are well worth watching but I'd say those three are especially good if you're interested in backstory of the films.
I still have Animatrix. I feel like even lovers of the movies haven't heard about it or dismissed it maybe as some cheap straight to DVD thing. It was very well done.

Even the ones who do view the movie stop after the first because "I heard the rest are bad!". So many people couldn't get into the deeper end of what went on as the movies went. Also the Matrix game may not have been loved, but it expanded the lore and you played as Niobe or Ghost. With Niobe being amazing honestly.

you know, the Architect and the Oracle were created as "parallel projects" inside the Nation 01 mainframe, most probably by the Deus Ex Machina, the "Machine God", the president of the machine City so to say. I suggest you watch the animated series called "Animatrix", it contains several stories, including the narration of the war against the machines, I think you'll like it. They explains a lot about the Matrix on general and the third movie in particular.

The Architect made the Matrix. The Oracle is the one who made it so that humanity would accept it. Like Smith told Morpheus in the first Matrix. And she also came up with the Agents.

But remember, this is the last city of the survivors of humanity. Sure, they have the resources to sustain it. But the issue you have to remember is, there is potentially a shortage of resources. The Machines have taken over the entire planet and Zion is the last city for humans to live free. They don't have a military strong enough to take Earth back anymore. Especially since the fleet of ships they had in Reloaded was probably a few dozen.
When you live in the apocalypse, you have to make do with what you have. And the APUs are definitely what they have for a final stand for the protection of Zion.
And I also got the implications that the machines supplied them with all their tech. So weaknesses does make sense.
To understand why the machines made The Oracle program, it might help to understand how adversarial machine learning works, but to put it simply:
Say you want to build the best chess playing computer. You can TRY to program in the best move for every possible board position, but 1. There are something close to 10 billion possible board configurations and 2. We don't entirely know the best move. So instead what you do is you build a computer that can play and build a second one to play against it. As they battle it out trying fairly stupid and random moves, you keep replacing the poorer performing one with the better performing one's "ideas"
Anyway, it's way more involved than that but you get the idea. The Oracle pushes people to break out of the Matrix while The Architect tries to build better Matrices that people don't wake up from. Every cycle, The Matrix gets a little better and can survive a little longer before Zion gets problematically big and they need to put it down and restart the cycle
Very well put. The fact that they are opposites (the Oracle being a program designed to intuitively deal with massive amounts of data and the Architect being an optimizer. They mentioned that the Oracle was designed to understand how very non linear and chaotic creatures such as humans thought and behaved. The Architect could do really well with hard engineering problems, like wiping the humans out, getting them to survived inside a simulation required more finesse.)
Last, but not least, I love how the Architect is perfectly ethical in the most rational way possible, he makes sure we know they don't really need the Matrix, it is there only because it is the "best available right thing" to do.
These two at the end saved everyone's ass.

Yes, he is "The One" but his powers exist only in the Matrix, and the train station is outside its boundaries.
His “stopping” of the sentinels at the end of part 2, and his stopping of the artillery barrage when he and trinity approached the machine city would beg to differ with that analysis

From what we can tell neo was reintegrated comfortably into the matrix and produced a movie called The matrix. Something however seems to have transpired and that's where the matrix 4 will soon be picking up.

Matrix trilogy interpretation:
Was Sati really "The One" after all?
Sort of..... All the characters in The Matrix trilogy represent either key archetypes or smaller aspects of an individual psyche, major ones being; Neo the ego, Smith the shadow, Trinity love, Morpheus the mystic, The Merovingian a cynic/sophist, The Architect a rational intellect, The Oracle an empathic heart, Mifune the warrior etc., with the psyche itself possibly represented by the Nebuchadnezzar hovercraft. Their power and influence, in essence if not reality, have to die to liberate Sati the child/spirit. Neo's battle with the machines is the ego's psychological war with the despotic nature of social institutions and authority personified by the agents who defend those institutions and power, i.e. the individual separate egos of others. Neo's victory over Smith at the end of the first movie is NOT enlightenment, that doesn't occur until the end of Revolutions and the liberation of Sati, it is merely Neo becoming "woke" in the parlance of our time, he remains still trapped in The Matrix. This is attested to by Neo being asleep at the beginning of all three movies, and, his seeing everyone in The Matrix ultimately being taken over by the devil incarnate represented by Smith, who Neo is compelled to do battle with. Neo chooses to continue fighting, but physical and psychological exhaustion make the end inevitable, thus resolving the paradox of Neo having both freewill but also a fated destiny. Neo's final self sacrifice as The Saviour of Mankind, ultimately defeats Smith, by his recognizing the same egoic motivations in himself i.e. Neo becomes just another Smith, and hence, humanity is finally Redeemed or forgiven, thus fulfilling the prophecy of The One and an end to "the war in heaven", or discontent of the mind, as the Matrix is reset.
"Matrix Explained" is a good UA-cam channel for people who have questions.

Jada Pinkett Smith (Captain Niobe) has always played strong minded badass women well. I think part of it has to do with her marriage to Will Smith even he acknowledges that Jada is in charge and a force to be reckoned with.
The Matrix Revolutions was such a outstanding and incredible finale on so many levels as it was just constructed perfectly from the very beginning to the end. The story, performance's, music, action sequences, special effects, images, direction, and cinematography was spectacular and phenomenal. It was decent. It was such a epic, perfect, and satisfying conclusion to end the trilogy. To this day I still watch it and I consider it a classic. It never gets old. 😍😎💯👍

Neo actually let Agent Smith to copy himself to Neo.. Because Neo was connected the Matrix from the Macine's city.. When Smith copy himself to Neo, Machine's connected Agent Smith (Virus Program) and all his virus copies, and delete all of them.. That's what we see at last of movie.. :)

Even I watched 4th part, without it I think that the Oracle is mother of both in Matrix, since she exists only in Matrix. She's like a neutron and they are a proton and an electron. When they joined they ceased to exist and came back to neutron - her. That's why she left alive after their fight and they both died. Since agent Smith has no body he died, and Neo's body cannot live without a mind, so his body has problems, what you can see in 4th part of the movie. I think they'll make another part...

Lots of people seem to think that if Neo had taken the other door he could have saved Zion. That was nor one of the choices. The other door would have allowed him to refound Zion after the machines destroyed the old one.
You’ll find out what happened to Neo this Christmas when Matrix Resurrections comes out. The Architect told Neo they’ve done this a million times , Zions been destroyed a thousand times snd visa versa and it starts all over. If you think of the Real world , there’s 10,000 humans in a underground housing center ,…the rest of the entire planet is the Machines a world built by autonomous robots always fixing and upgrading planet wide. There’s no way that those thst are out could defeat the machines becasue the only way would be to literally blow the planet up becasue if even the smallest machine survives that has the AI that’s been building all this, it starts over. That’s why the architect told the Oracle “how long do you actually think this peace can last??” Her response of as long as it can shows she knows the end that always comes win or loose is the Matrix starting over. When she said what about the others, it showed they have had some sort of agreement, he will let out those that will start the next begginings of Zion , rejack in everyone else and start again.
Neo is taken like on a lowered crucifix symbolic of Christ giving his life for mankind, which explains how Neo had abilities in the real world and the only one. He’s some sort of higher being , a Christ of sorts that can balance everything ack out fir mankind: where it parallels Christ , he is resurected (hence Matrix 4s sub title “Resurection”. They can’t keep it going forever , I hope Resurection is what it indicates as the final showdown , it runs its simulation, flashes everyone’s memories but this time it’s different becasue Neo had discovered power in the real world which has to mean he is the One, even much more than he imagined. I’m thinking he finds a way to defeat the machines. Be a good end to it instead of knowing it jsut starts over and over but ultimately 99.9999% of the population always stays in the machines pods. Ugh
