I bought this machine for my best friend a few years ago for her 55th birthday. She passed away a few weeks ago and today her husband gifted it to me. We cannot find the instruction booklet and your review has helped tremendously as I now know how to use the needle threader and the machine. I am considering the 3-18 in preference to the 219s (which I have been using in class and love) because I would like to do some free hand embroidery stitches and some appliqué. Any chance of a review on those please?
Am alittle late to watch this but thanks alot for the review ..l would like to ask can this j3-18 be use to make a shirred cloth, if so please make a video of it so l could use it as reference. I really want to make some cute clothes for my nieces with my sewing machine but l don't know how to make it work.thanks
