For some reasons, UA-cam still has sync problems with long 60 FPS videos. Best watched at 1080p, other resolutions like 720p, 480p etc. are out of sync. For more VF videos, check out my "Virtua Fighter & Shenmue" playlist: ua-cam.com/video/3OeBzyQQ9ng/v-deo.html
@@alantaylorfc not many super pros returned in VF5 except Segirl. Both Chibita and HomeStay Akira have returned in VF5:FS in 2012 and they remained as Gods of Virtua Fighter.
@@thesch2867 Yes there is lags on 2 stages - Jeffry island and China big wall (no rain version). I finish quest mode and finish all tournaments (Akira) and there is no other lags . These two stages are fully playable but in very slow motion.
cmr participated the All-Star games. He was "Sentinel" rank that managed to beat Chibita. Before the release of Virtua Fighter 4 Evolution, cmr was Demoted to "Destroyer" rank.
This is amazing all the replays in good quality, although i think it would have been better if you uploaded the video in a true 4:3 aspect ratio HD resolution instead of making a HD widescreen video of a 4:3 game with black bars on the sides. True 4:3 videos in HD of games like this one look great in monitors of all kinds especially in 4:3 monitors and smartphones with the youtube app while watching vertically.
Great game and I love its graphics style (the best one in the franchise to me), though this evolution version looks a bit foggy and too much bright on Ps2, probably because of the "antialiasing" routine. Anyway I still overall prefer the vanilla edition, the backgrounds are better and the rumble feature is there. Of course the arcade versions of the two games look better, but some detail in my opinion are somehow better on Ps2, e.g light effects on Akira's face.

Nostalgic moments came to mind because I was once strong too at Virtua Fighter IV Evolution and I remember that my dear friend, as well as sparring partner, dispute great challenges like the ones I have for you. I have a PlayStation 2 and I could see if I could repurchase the game how could I record the matches and put it on my UA-cam channel? Would there be a chance to have it for PlayStation 4?
@@iPlaySEGA You mean the regular game disc? So all those replays are on my PS2 disc of VF4 Evolution? Edit: Just checked. Yep, they're all in the game. Simply select Replay -> DVD-ROM from the Main Menu. You can even watch it with all the inputs and frame by frame. Great learning tool.

These are really good matches.

Damn. I have a lot to learn with the Kages here
Good news, Virtua Fighter 4 evolution is available at playstation store for PS3 in PS2 classic series.
I play VF4evo on my PS3 now :)
Doesn't that version suck tho?
It's an emulated port with tons of lag on most stages.

Most viewers will watch my stuff on 16:9/widescreen displays.
This is the best way to guarantee true aspect ratio. ;-)

You would have to use a capturer for that.

I wonder how did you get all the footage, are they played in real time or is it a AI battle based on real players' playstyle at the highest level?

Did you even watched the video? There are AT LEAST 5 Ohsu Akira fights in the first 50 minutes... XD

Ohsu Akira was able to obtain the "Daredevil" rank and that comes after "Villain" rank as far as translation appears to be.
