I will always prefer a tent over a tarp any day and you've sold me on this one. That is one of the best tent systems for the price that I've seen. Excellent vid !
After 10 years,i finally got the entire tent camping, survival, disappear/stealth set up. Has been ordered. Be here Saturday. Every thing i got is good priced for value. Everything i have you'd use or approve. I guess ill take it to gun club set up day, night, day test run.
Glad that they took into account that tiny little detail, of angling one side a bit lower. I had one from OneTigris, I think, that is the same height on both ends, and the snow and water (at different times) pooled up on the "awning", and it finally tore through at the seem on one...and the "awning" ripped in the middle of the material on the second one (a company renewal, when I returned the first one), so i returned that one as well. They sent me a 3rd one, but I haven't used it since. This one, it just looks like you may have to remember about "rooftop/awning" drainage of rain water from the lowered side, so it doesnt drain into the mesh bug netting and into the tent. Looks like it would make a good one person (plus a dog, maybe....watch the doggy toenails, due to the sil-nylon) shelter. Keep up the great work !!! Good to see you back, and posting, Brother !!!
I was considering the One Tigris but I'm reconsidering this one instead based on your experiences. Heavy rain rates are a thing here and I never thought of the flaps and drainage. Nor had I heard of these failures but now I can see why this is a superior design. Thanks!
ordered one on the 2nd of sept got here on the third. set it up on the third. first thing wrong. part of the zipper material was moth / acid eaten away. no instructions with the tent on set up. improvements that should be made-- mid length stake out points on the floor and the lower back vent. also add a tie out half way up the back side to pull the side out. add a tie out point mid way on the bottom of the door. love the stakes it comes with, the metal triangle type. they are the only stake type i use. set it up with trekking poles. the surprise was the the short end. minimum trek pole height. suggestion pack 2 zippy bags & rubber bands if you do this set up, use the bags to cover your trek pole handles. got wait 2 days for some rain to come in for waterproof test.
I think it's an awesome tent. I was wondering if you could add a poncho or light weight tarp with this to make a miniature Holden style shelter with it. It definitely has more options and versatility than it looks. Thanks for sharing.😎✌️
It looked small till you got into it. Painting a tarp or tent you might want to use Rit clothing dye. I was thing about using clothing dye in garden hand pump sprayer so I can customize the paint (stain) job and it wont peel, I just dont know if the dye will penetrait. You mentioned its water proof and you metiond the flooring had its own level of waterproof rating. I had a tent that ws similar and I was in the crockett forest and we had a 2.5 inch rain and water came over my floor ridge. Do you water proof your tents?
Hi! Can you tell me if the bivy is wider on one side? I can see that it's taller on one side but how about the width? I'm not sure to understand the measurements on the Onewind website.
Looks like it’s copied off of the one Tigris bungalow, I got that tent and I like the design but the material was to thin and the floor was to thin , maybe one wind did a better job with it
Doesn't require poles ✅ Side entry ✅ Awning rainfly ✅ Headroom ✅ Ventilation options ✅ Tapers to foot end 🚫 Unsure of the SilNy quality at that price🚫 The design just missed the mark of what I'm looking but did give me some ideas for a DIY clone.

He hasn't been producing a lot of videos the last year. Not sure why. I go to his home channel and look for the latest video to be sure I'm getting my notifications.
So glad you are back! We watched every episode. Glad to see more from you. Hubby and I have learned so much. God is good.

Lots of vents for flow through breeze. About time. Looks great for 1 guy.
Glad to see you back out here....
Nice seeing you back, iv always prefered a bivy and a small tarp, with that set up iv camped year around. This looks like a nice and roomy bivy.
I hope you are again and doing high quality videos. I enjoyed them, there were really help for me and renewed great information.. Thanks
Great job snake and good to hear from you again

Nice looking set up. Hope to see some more videos, glad you're back.
Great to see you back man and pretty neat shelter
Great tent I agree my wife and I both have one and like you we love all our one wind stuff
The camo can be fixed. Basically just old school 90's woodland camo works well. Even woodland tiger stripes work well at a distance.
I’m due a new tent and this might be the one for me , thanks Snake
Come back to us. It's been a while since I've been able to test my cat-like sense against your intros.
Good Afternoon ! Good to see you again. TAKE CARE..
Haha your outro is funny . It look like a good and light tarp tent , cool product . Thx for your video

It's like a mini baker tent. I like it.
Where u hiding at ??????????? Need some videos from you man hope all is well
For me living in the south east coastal region. This is what I am looking for. Until then I was using their mosquito net and a tarp.
Looks good. Thank you for reviewing this.
Good to see ya, ya haven’t popped up on my UA-cam in a while
I never pay for camping in south MS..... That looks pretty good low profile. Nice olive green color.
Hey buddy! I use harbor freight battery powered motion detector, paint black, brown. Amazing
My camo paint is rechargeable.
@SurvivalTheory - Any new videos coming out soon brother? Your crew misses you.
And...solo vent that vents three ways...lol.love it....
That's a good video Snake. ❤ I like their other products you've recommended.
Looks to be a real good one man and perhaps even one dog tent.

Have any problems with Ticks in your area? It's a Plague here in Maine.
Same here in New York
I'm sure ticks are bad in TX.

How's yr dog doing ?? Is he still around ??
Nice tent!
I went with forcette 2 man , 1 pole, nice
Why would you paint it?????
Why would you not want something in camo?

At 2 pounds it can't be very heavy duty. The purpose is light weight and function.
Nice.

Nylon just doesn't hold up... It's always canvas for me
But he's right about the weight.
With me living in a high humidity, high temperature area, lightweight, and breathability are the key.
