Thought this movie was a bit overdone! I know it's a 'blockbuster' and dealt with the climate in a subtle or subconscious way, (well, not with the big Storm that hits Mt. Everest), but it could have been done in a less dramatic way, with more emphasis on the relationships among the people on the mountain and even the preparation that goes into the climbing. I'm not sure... :/ And one of the reasons that i think this is because I so loved the end of the movie which showed the real people in their actual photos as real people who had climbed Mt. Everest. Loved how they showed the descendant of one of the climbers: Sarah. That seems to be what it's all about. I also loved the Life vs. Death of this film, something I am currently fascinated about. Overall though, I did not like this movie even though Jake Gyllenhaal is in it (he dies though!) since I do not agree that Mt. Everest should be climbed. Perhaps these people are heroes. Perhaps not. Perhaps they should not be messing with one of God's greatest wonders on Planet Earth. ANd that is why they died!
He's cool as hell with long hair and a beard.
Loved to see him in 'Everest' ... secretly I have a crush on him since Donnie Darko.
He deserved an oscar on this one. Amazing movie.
He deserved an Oscar for Nightcrawler and Prisoners not for this one
Not really. He has like 10 mins in the film and not much acting done...
Thank you for sharing
